This. Exactly my theory as well. I find it somewhat ironic that a big complaint against CVs (pre and post rework) is "cowards that can do damage while safe/unspotted" - while this is exactly what the average player wishes: to have some scrub in front of him spot reds, while he can shoot them, while going into stealth again after that. Especially BBs are, gamewise, not designed to just be passive damage dealers. Even before rework and very limited carriers ingame you could very often see a lot of BBs on typical cruiser spots near/behind islands. With planes being plentiful and fast, being unspotted isn't really viable, but they are so used to being in a "safe place", that they can't handle being spotted, and turn away immediately - especially with priority target most likely being widespread. Guy next/behind him thinks the same, and so the mighty blob emerges. (somewhat ironic since especially haku prefers blobs)

Just met @Boris_MNE in his hakuryu, on my team. As befitting for the trollmaster, I was in a haku too. I'm unsure if the red team was also entertained by that much trolling though...

I am not a casual, but every time I click into the game I too go WTF... Your point is valid though. I can only imagine such people wanting to play their casual CV game and suddenly finding themselves into wowp light. And for the average casual, who doesn't follow info nor isn't too apt at the game, things like flak must be deadly. I already saw several people commenting in the likes of "yea but rework is barely here, give it time, people will get better". Right. WG removed or lowered BB citadels cause not giving broadside was too hard. Skillgap was and is here to stay, and lack of info you refer to is a big part of that.

BBs are the main victim. Them peeds are gonna get nerfed sooo fast.

It wasn't and it isn't. It countered DD's (and some other ship's) stealth and countered solo play. Not to mention "very speshul" weapons that devstruck cruisers left and right. I've very seldom seen a BB devstruck by a CV. Now it counters not only DD stealth but DD's themselves.

yup. Been trying some ships, to see what works in CV spam, also experimenting with free captain respecs etc. Well, except for DDs, cause I aint touching that $hit. Wooster did unsurprisingly well, and for BBs Montana did best for me (very limited data of course) But in general I don't like it, with dds being ruined and especially the meta getting even more campier. Ugh. Regarding carriers, @El2aZeR seemed to like his midway and enterprise, haku not so much. I'm not gonna try them myself for a while, cause everyone and his mother is trying AA specs, not to mention glorious "des woostertaur" spam.

No problem. I voted, though I still don't understand why I had to in the first place. Who in your company thought it was a problem to begin with, and more importantly, why? And that's ignoring the fact if the current mechanism is a bug or not - there's more important bugs to fix imho, lock-on one would be a good start.

Really don't want to troll you here, but I disagree, hard. Most players are complete idiots, and there's an ever increasing inflow of them into high tiers. I'd say 60%-70% are total idiots, with the vast part of them unwilling or uncapable to improve. This is true though, especially the last part.

hahaha Until a while ago there were 2 ships/players in those ships that I automatically laughed at. I.e. shima players and derpitz players. Since glorious addition of high tier "premiums", I've added two more to the "clown list", being Musashi and Salem players. While I don't have the ship, I doubt there's much wrong with it, except it being played by zombies. Don't buff plz

When people complain on this forum about being roflstomped, the trolls always come out with "would you also come here and complain if you were on the winning team?" I approve of your post ;) edit: To give some thoughts about the picture. It is indicative of what is been annoying me since at least last summer: the invasion of braindead DDs, and I still keep hoping they return to their BBs. You see here 2 DDs being top 3 in XP, which means they did their job, while red DDs just rolled over and died. The one thing that somewhat makes me look forward to the CV rework is that these people will bugger off.
