i think that the american ships have the worst armor compared with other same classe's ship of other nation. for example, bismarck and north carolina have the same life points, but bismarck's armor is bigger and better than north carolina. if north carolina hit 10 time bismarck on the long side with AP ammo, bismarck will lose not more than 20.000 life point. but if bismarck hit north carolina on the long side with 10 AP's ammo, north carolina will lose more than 50.000 life points, beacuse she isn't protected at all. i am speaking with all the player: help me to improve the armor protecion of american ships, in particular of cruisers and battleship. to play funnier battles.
