Ban enterprise from ranks

No offense but when i read your comments, i can't help thinking of Charlie Zelenoff that he is the author. -
I’m fine mate, was thinking more of people who experience trouble but thanks. Well, as you read comrades, you can ask specific questions if you have any.
-
Well you are a good player and don’t represent the average pop. How about helping them by sharing more like your tactics/strat experience?
-
Most of them are good players. Some of them played premium ships, some didn't. Enty isn't an exception for a good player to rank out early. Good CV players also ranked out in Lex and Shokaku and will continue ranking out. For instance, there are two Lightnings that ranked out below 100 games. Those are good dd players and vice versa, if you give them the premium Cossack or Lo Yang, they will still rank out in below 100 games. Enty is just a CV that gives more opportunity for already good players to maximize their experience. There are also players that can't make Enty work. Ships depend on the captains, not the other way around.
-
Just to note; played three games this morning, 1 ranked game 1 CV and 2 DDs, 1 ranked game 0 CV and 3 DDs, 1 random 2 CVs (T6&T8) and 3 DDs.
-
If that is the case in your experience, then one of the reasons could be rework. The good BB/Cruiser players take advantage out of this buy pushing to get citadels&ambushing. The not so good ones are passive, and they will always be more passive than the other group whether there are dds in the game or not. If there are DDs, then this group will still stay passive because of possible incoming torps or being shot at because they are spotted. They will always have an excuse to stay passive in their minds. In my experience, i happen to get more games with multiple dds than single dd and i like it better even if i am the single dd, or in a bb/cruiser and there are no dds.

You know i had to look it up to see what it means although i understood what you meant?
-
@Beastofwar I see you got bored. Let's end it here. I wish you good luck in your ranked games
-
But you avoided all the questions and points of our conversation; 1- You challenging CVs in Orkan and Hsiengyang 2- Good CV players not poor CV players 3- CVs that want to find you will find you So, you accept in some of those games there were no CVs, which makes it null in our conversation. There is only one French dd and maybe the Hsiengyang without smoke out of 12 DD games you posted in SS. Again it is null in our conversation. Why don't you try to keep up with what we were talking? I mean we can stop if you got bored or annoyed, no problem.
-
Good for you and i'm glad for you but this does not prove anything. Why can't we see your stats? In how many of those games there were CVs? How many of them went after you? How many of those DD games are without smoke? In how many of them you didn't directly go to cap? How many of those are ranked games? What were the wrs of enemy CVs? I can increase the number of questions for you to understand the irrelevancy of the pic you posted above :)

This can be valid only for the very beginning of the game where you delay going to cap and stay with ally ships in order to minimize hp loss from incoming enemy CV attack which will let enemy dd enter cap instead and meanwhile won't prevent you still getting hit by the CV. It is primarily DD's task although there is no rule against other ships going into the cap (including CV). Of course, getting killed senselessly is not smart but that's not what we are talking about here. Our conversation started around how you challenge enemy CVs in your Orkan and Hsiengyang in ranked games, and i wanted to know how you do the challenge :) So my question was "Why do you think it is difficult for planes with 150 knots to find a dd?" and your answer is that you know the CV can't find you. Well, i also know that a hundred out of hundred times a CV can find you in no time, in any map, any game mode, if they wan to. I also know this from both perspectives as a DD and CV player. I wrote "Once CV knows his planes are spotted, it will take him at most ten, fifteen seconds to pin point you." and your response is "If that were true, CV would never be torepdoed." Seems like you are assuming too much and making wrong comparisons. Because, you can't just go kill a good CV player with a DD. In order for you to that, the said CV player should not have any map awareness. His spotter plane should go up, the planes that take off from the carrier will be spotted but the CV player will not pay attention to any of it and continue to his play. Well, I have seen this happened and still see in randoms but we were talking about ranked. Additionally, i noted good CV players, not poor CV players. There is rarely 3-4 dds in rank 2-5 and 5-10 brackets. 2 DDs or a single DD is more common.

Reporting system misses it's target and the developer is looking in the other direction

There are automated messages and non-automated ones. Both response types are provided by the customer support. -

"I don't know who cause there was no dispute in chat or I haven't noticed ." What do you expect from customer support in the first place? They can't pull back or add reports. Reports enter system automatically by players. What they can do is check the logs if there was any rule violation in the chat or check the replay to see if there were team killings. -
Well, in order for a CV not to find you; 1- He should not be looking for you 2- You need to camp right next to your teammates, in the herd (and even then the CV will find/spot you) Why do you think it is difficult for planes with 150 knots to find a dd? Once CV knows his planes are spotted, it will take him at most ten, fifteen seconds to pin point you. I am speaking specifically for ranked, and ranked 2-5/5-10 bracket, if CV is not going after the dd (s), his team is going to have a hard time. Especially, if there are smokeless dds like oland, orkan, hsiengyang, etc. Why let them roam free, cap, torp and spot for their team while he can kill them at ease? A good CV player will specifically go after the dds.
-
Okay, so although you have no intention of fighting enemy carrier, which is the logical thing to do, if enemy CV chooses to pick a fight with you, and you not having even smoke consumable, how will that end? Do you honestly think a good CV player will let you survive?
-
"I did so in even in a Hsienyang without BFT/AFT points (yet)" Let's not Kidd each other. You can at most shoot down fighter planes with Hsiengyang. And even if you would shoot a couple more, what will you do when the smoke runs out? "All depends on what the enemy TEAM does. You first have to get past them ( while spotting and torpedoing to contribute in the match ) to get near a CV." But why would you wanna get near enemy CV unless it is the last red ship standing? "CV are not THE element that makes DD difficult. The game skills, build picks and ship picks of the enemy are...." Do you mean, CV can just fly around you, hit you and life is still dolce vita to you? I really, really don't think we are both playing the same. GL.
-
So you are saying, you challange CVs with Orkan?
-
Orkan is a nice ship but if it is a CV ranked game and they decide to go after you, one salvo and Boom! half hp gone. You heal up and run for your life, meanwhile CV comes again, another salvo, boomyoudead (actually, there is a player with this nick) !

Better Ranked Battles " IN MY OPINION "
_HomTanks_ replied to Skyee_8492's topic in General Discussion
I understand your frustration but if only above average players are allowed to play ranked mode; 1- An event like this won't be but while it should be accessible to all players. 2- It would be discriminating on the negative side 3- Waiting time for battles to start would be much more longer 4- This kind of limitation could provide to all sorts of players,i.e. unicums/sunicums a valid point to have their own ranked mode and eventually whole ranked concept would turn into a chaos. Instead maybe; 1- The amount of battles for new players to enter such modes can be increased from 200 to 400-500. 2. XP bonuses for dd players could be increased, as it is the most disadvantageous class to play in this CV meta ranked mode. if the top three or half the losing team would be allowed to keep their stars, then it would just be very similar to Ranked Sprint mode where you don't lose your rank, even if you lose a game and hence both ranked modes being too similar, they would be redundant. Again, ranked sprint is for divisioning up with people. If this ranked mode will allow diving up, then why do we have ranked sprint? Just to note, divisioning was never the case for regular ranked seasons. There will be good and not so good players in almost every game and in both teams. Trying to save a star may be difficult, as, speaking hypothetically, you may sink three enemy ships and still can be at the second place on the board. But then it means, some or all of those were kill steals, or you did not do useful damage but farmed instead where enemy ships could heal themselves back, you didn't cap, etc. I think the current mechanics of regular ranked mode is fine. Could there be adjustments/fine tunings? I guess yes. There is always room for improvement, imo. Cheers, 66 -
is a good example of how a broken class can carry one so easily.

This can not go on like that .... WG please do something
_HomTanks_ replied to Oncle_Fetide's topic in General Discussion
It is what it is. No one is and should be banned from playing because they shot each other but some discouraging penalties can be given to them. These punishments can be in form of anything, play three games in t5 or lower, play 5-10 games in ccop before you can play in randoms or ranked again, a couple million silver credits, or if you truly want to stop team killings, give people 5000 coal, or 30K fxp penalty each time they shoot an allied ship. Let's see how many will commit to team killing again. It can be solved. WG doesn't want to solve it. If one thinks these would be harsh penalties, just remember losing 90% of your hp because your teammate decided to shoot or torp you and he/she got away with turning pink only while you just got killed by enemy and lost all your signals, camos, etc because of a douchebag. Or remember, how you get one day chat ban because a 40% wr 400 pr snowflake didn't like your "nice broad side" comment. These wouldn't be harsh penalties. The question is does WG really want to stop team kills? I don't think so. Because; 1- Current penalties are nowhere near discouraging. Should be changed with discouraging ones. 2- WG can remove friendly fire as they did before and won't receive any more damage from friendlies even if they shoot each other Apparently team damage is allowed intentionally but what is the logic behind this? Why no.1 or 2 is not applied (or similar others)? -

In a game, where you type nice yolo rush, nice broadside, nice camping, etc. and get reported (because they think they play best and consider such sentences as insults), and then these reports turn into automatic one day chat ban, you should not be surprised people shooting and torping each other. They are encouraged by the system in an indirect way to do so. They know nothing will happen other than turning pink for two games...First day of the ranked, i know a Massa got torped by a Benson because he wrote why don't you cap instead of sitting behind a rock, and two ranked games later enemy NC shoots an allied BB for no obvious reason as there was nothing on the chat, who knows what he is frustrated at, in the beginning of the game. All you can do is to send a ticket to customer service. People over there are really nice, but what they can do is limited as a player being banned from the game is unheard of unless they get caught cheating (even an infamous player who got caught with aimhack kept playing for long time after he got caught). So this is the game. If you are not heavily invested in it time and money wise, you may look for other options or continue your unpleasant journey here. This game came down from a fun, kinda competitive-ish (talking about randoms imagine) state to an utter fishing, sightseeing, yolo rushing/suiciding without achieving anything, snowflake, weeb state. As long as you keep your expectations at minimum while playing, your frustration will be less. -
I'm sure two of us are enough pool size to measure whether DM is more effective as a close range boat or kiting boat and I'm sure highest scores by DM are done by kiting...or maybe not? ;-) "You see, that there is a lot of learning process before You. I know this is hard, so mayby try at frist this with Pensa." There is always a learning curve, and there should be. And thanks for suggesting me with try learning how to Pensa but why your Pensa stats are worse than mine and have only 3 games in it?
