Almost one month. Until Sep 30th.

No, Anchorage shells were changed in 0.9.7. It had 203 mm AP Mk21 Baltimore SHS before the nerf, now it has 203 mm AP Mk19 New Orleans shells.
-
It's lacking the US SHS though and 15.5sec reload is quite long, isn't it?
-
If this is what you got from your first 4 containers, it is fantastic, gz!
-
IMO, after all the nerfs and unless you are a collector, it is safer to wait for reviews from the likes of LWM.

When she is talking about new ranked season at minute 04:05 , it shows a Shima. Then some planes. Then the planes attacking the Shima. Is that a message to player base not to play Shima? Why choose Shima in a CV meta ranked anyway...

Recticule of German CV attack aircraft hardly visible

Yea, that sounds about right when i re-read it. Weird i still remember this was addressed in the forum. Best is what Moneto did, let's wait for the WG staff. -

The Q&A include "the strange behaviour of the reticle is common to all the new German CVs". -

I remember this was answered by WG staff in one of the threads that everything works as intended. -

Contains an element of the new King of the Sea collection. Obtained from Shipments and by watching the KotS tournament online.

From all the Anniversary SCs; each year i got what Flambass got, mostly signals and flags, no ship. From all the Random SCs; i got one ship in four years (not 5 years because i don't remember super container thing existed in 2015, or did it?) . From New Year Crates; i got at least half or more than half of my prem ships. Why? Because paid money for the crates. Anniversary and Random SCs are free, hence, chances of getting a ship is close to zero. In other words, it is more realistic to think that one will not get a ship out of Anniversary crates and if they do get so lucky, hey! what a nice surprise! But still, free gifts are always welcome! Thanks for the event WG!

May be the case, I cant remember really since i only paid attention to PTS and Season awards directives which give some rewards when completed unlike the shipyard directives.
-
@YabbaCoe The PTS directive missions and live server missions taken from NA look just the same (in above posts-unless the first post is not from PTS).
-
They may or may not be different but there were quite lots of directives in PTS too. Can’t remember previous PTS directives In detail vs live server directives unfortunately (like Odin event), but they are not too much different even if not same. Something too different would have taken attention (like if there were less stages in directives or less directives or enormously less requirements in missions). For example i remember something like 35 ship sinking mission.
-
Iirc I completed most of directives and spent some doubloons too.
-
I completed them in PTS. They are easy. I can check when I get back to my pc and post some ss if it is accessible to PTS today.

Public Test - Megathread for rewards & updates
_HomTanks_ replied to Crysantos's topic in Public Test
Yes, on Live server in shipyard events you have an option to use doubloons. In PTS, you can also use doubloons to complete shipyard directives but you don’t get the ship. There are different directives for seasonal emblems that have to be completed independent-irrelevant from the shipyard directives. Hope this helps. -
There are many things one can complain, critique or speak/write about WoWs. Anniversary is not one of them. It's been held for years now and WG made it a tradition giving away free goodies at anniversaries. You get free goodies but complain about not getting the right free goodies. Doesn't sound right, does it? Take this as a friendly feedback as i have no intention to personalize it, you have only 443 random games in almost a year time which means you averaged around 1.2 games/day since you started playing and grinded 10+ lines up to tier 4-6. In other words, you played many different lines with very little amount of game which is understandable as some people may not want to spend their time on one game, or simply don't have time to play. There are also people who play 10 random games/day. There are also people who have been playing for five years. There are also people who play 10+/day and have been playing for 3,4,5 years. How would it be fair to all those people who put such amount of time and effort into the game if they would get the same you would get as free goodies? Another point is, this has nothing to do with money, if so, please explain how? As far as i know, players grind their way to upper tier ships which is perfectly and very easily doable without investing a single cent. If you are talking about premium time, there are tons of players without premium time and manage themselves accordingly. They play good, get good results, good credits without premium ships, without premium time. Would WG prefer having more tier 10 players? Sure, but as explained above, it is easy (as a matter fact it is much easier to reach T10 today compared to 2015-16-17) to tier up for anyone. The ones who prefer playing only low-middle tiers will also get free goodies. After all, WG are not so evil, are they? If they wanted, they could have given no rewards below Tier 8, or no rewards to anyone, no anniversary, nothing. Is this what you'd prefer, no anniversary? Or would you prefer getting super containers at tier 6? Then, what would be the motivation for people who played upper tiers? Or should people not play upper tiers? Or you simply don't care if they do or don't but want the same free goodies anyway? This is the same mentality i saw in another thread a couple of days ago, someone asking all players to have the same ships before Ranked Sprint starts so they would all be equal and this way it would be a fair ranked sprint season to everyone...Except, people who have more ships or more higher tier ships worked hard for them, spent their precious time playing while probably person X was having a sunbath. Hence, wanting to have the same things without putting any effort while others did, is not fair in a single bit. If i get back to you, my suggestion continues, in a whole one month ahead, you can level up your Fubuki, Hatsuharu, Fushun, Gaede, Ryujo, Furutaka, T22 and Omaha. It is easy to level them up to next tier in a day. Tier 8-9 and 9-10 will take quite some time but if you have camos/flags and some time to play, it should not be a problem. Gl, hf.

Public Test - Megathread for rewards & updates

You can't skip stages in a directive by using doubloons. You need to play to complete them. -
I've been doing regrinding for many lines to get Slava and have done many before for the rest of the RB ships obtained. Didn't count but say around thirty times, i started from tier 3 and went upwards. I rarely spend fxp for skipping the tiers or to get upgrades which means i spent quite some time in tier 3,4 and 5 for many ships from all classes. The primary problem i have noticed is the amount of CVs, double CVs, seldomly triple CVs. Also there are average or below average players trying to take advantage of their Kamikazes and Gulio Cesares in solo and in divisions in low tier games. These divisions can be handled and sometimes can''t be but double CVs in most of the games at tier 3,4, or cv in almost every tier 5 game makes it not fun for new players. It must be a horrible feeling for them as they don't even know how to aim, where to turn, how to use the maps. etc. but in the meantime to be constantly attacked and nuked by double CVs considering their surface ships don't have any means of fighting the planes. Do you think WG ever gets curious how these new players feel about the game play and whether they will quit this bs or continue the torture? The second part of this fact-story includes the noobness of many CV players. It is truly rare to run into a competent CV player in the game, regardless of the tier. Right now, from my personal experience, i could tell you confidently, most of the CV players in Random are potatoes and they are killing the games with their incompetence. This is what i have been witnessing. Your experience may differ, i wouldn't know but it's another story. Imo, double-triple CV nonsense should be removed from low tiers. If we get back to the topic. the asymmetric battles will be a separate mode. Some may play it but probably not many, hence i think, they found the solution of spamming bots into battles.

@luokailk forgot to mention in my previous post, keep in mind that there will be CVs wrecking havoc on surface ships. Stalingrads will have hard time against Hakuryu players who can manage to left click their mouse. Smaland will also suffer due to not having smoke. Halland may perform fine due to its good AA against average and below average T10 CV players.
