How can someone have average 23 PR in 4K games? I’m sure bots do better than that.

You’re right to have doubts. It is a BB that can’t sustain HE or AP damage, in other words can’t tank. What it does best is stay in distance, look for broadsides and shoot. Change position, find another target and shoot. It should be either far or not seen while doing this. Depending on the situation it can charge in, ram Petra or Venezia type of cruisers even if it doesn’t have full hp left and survive. It is a very difficult and boring ship to play. If you like a sneaky and boring play, sitting in middle of the map looking for broads or keep searching for them then this ship could fit your play style. Ohio being sold at around same RB points is a ten times better ship than Slava for me, because it can shoot hard regardless of enemy showing broadside or bowed in, can tank much better, has much better secs, etc.hence fits my play style much better. Or Shikishima, although not comparable to Slava because one is steel the other is RB points ship, is a much better ship. Four tier 10 BBs can focus fire you for more than five minutes and you tank the damage in Shiki. In return, each of your volleys will be 10K plus dmg. regardless of the angling of enemy ships. Coal BB Thunderer is another better ship than current Slava. if you are a collector or Soviet BB enthusiast go for Slava, if not, take your time.

Oh, they know the naval history better than most of us. They know what they are doing...without thinking much. Below is not addressed to you Butterdoll; They added ships into the game which never existed, so this is not about the Naval History, cut it guys. They added ships into the game that really existed but these ships don't have real life characteristics, so it is not about Naval History, cut it guys. They are now in the brink of adding these hybrid ships as if the game has no problems with CVs since rework. They didn't have to add these hybrid ships same as they were irl, while they neglected many real things about other ships. I think they are out of ideas. They keep thinking what could be interesting, and this is what they came up with. They said, there wouldn't be another BB with bigger guns than Yamato. They said submarines would never enter into the game. They said Kitakami would not come back. What else? I can't remember all. I'm sure no one is against new things, improvements, ships, etc. But WG ignoring many players' requests or fair points made about CVs, doing all the things they said they wouldn't have done are also things people didn't ask or want from them. Some say here, they wanted these hybrid ships. Guess what? Also many people wanted missiles in the game for years. Many wanted world war 1 mode that consist of real ships only. Many wanted more realistic features in the game. Why aren't these ones implemented? Besides, you may say you wanted while many others say they didn't. You wanting something doesn't justify anything, you are not that important, don't flatter yourselves. WG doesn't care what you want, you know what they care.

This is not about people being negative to tone or ise. This is about people being negative to new mechanics being introduced like aerial torps by BBs and CLs. It doesn’t matter if they had such stuff irl or not. This is not a simulation game. Or if the argument is opposite then many BBs had torps and radars. They should have access to those too.

You can't compare Georgia to Pommern. Georgia is a much better ship.

There is no official explanation on why there is no Autumn season afaik.

Got my flags and container, too. Too bad there won't be an Autumn season. I think it is due to CBs on PTS. I may skip this PTS update since the rewards don't seem compelling.

It can be strong if there is no CV or if CV ignores you, strong in division plays like if you have a divmate with smoke or CV divmate who will provide AA support or a Venezia divmate who will delete the enemy DD when you radar. May or may not be strong in solo play depending on many variables. I wouldn't spend 2M fxp on it if i wasn't a collector and didn't like the design of the ship. I think it is the nicest looking DD. Not a single ship worth 2 million FXP but this the price set by WG. Smaland is not OP. I got it in first a couple of days when it came out and like it but it's not an easy ship to play or let's say not as easy as Daring and Black. In order for Smaland to shine, there should be no CV in the game because its trick is the radar to hunt enemy DDs. If enemy CV keeps harrassing you in Smaland, the only surprise element it has becomes null. Would I suggest getting it? Yes, if you really like playing DDs, if you are a veteran or collector. It is not a very beginner friendly ship due to not having smoke.
