I'm not so sure about it being DEVs' decision. I think the decision is taken at a higher level where all dept. heads, execs, etc. are present and even if DEVs' rep. may vote for no CVs in CBs, they may get overruled or it could really be the case you described. What we know for sure is, most exec./mng./director level people at WG vote for CVs in every mode. You know what, thinking objectively, it's their game and their call. Hence, the consequences will be on them as well. The only solution to this is majority of clans stop playing CBs.

You are right but from my observation it seems there is no unity between clans. Although best clans didn’t participate the last CBs, many other clans did and some of them were hurricane level. People just want the rewards and don’t care whether cv ruins game play tactics, strategies, etc. They just want their flags, steel and premium days. The ones that really care about the good of the game didn’t participate and probably won’t in the future. It is about a stance. The better stance would bring better results overall but better stance requires unity. Unity requires letting go of selfishness which is unlikely to happen, hence wg will keep throwing CVs everywhere to cbs, ranked, etc. unsurprisingly.

Of course they are the biggest problem, especially in competitive and semi-competitive modes. I didn't go in detail with CVs because there is already a thread with more than 350-60 pages only about CVs.

@Ocsimano18 -Played 3 games, in Shikishima. -All were in the same map, Epicenter. -All three games had CVs. - 130K dmg , 2.0 ships kill, 3.0 dest. ratio avg. in three games -Twice no.1 and once no.2 -Seen Bourgogne in every game. I also plan to bring mine to ranked but after seeing how easily they absorb damage, unsure for now. Maybe later. - Petras and Smolensk also were common. - Seen KM CV three times and Hakuryu twice, Audacious once. - Keep observing same common mistakes season after season; players don't have map awareness, they don't grasp the importance of shooting at enemy DDs, they take unnecessary risks, or suicide without a reason. I may change the ship in following games but it performs good whether win or lose. Can update you next after 30 or so games.

Just played the first ranked game in Epicenter. Of course, with CV...It wasn't too bad as i was in Shiki and shot down only 6 planes but CV didn't attack me much. Both teams had 1 DD, i killed enemy DD, Daring. Our DD Gearing survived. Won the game easily. The real problem will start when facing unicum enemy CVs. Until then, I'm okay with CV players like these.

Flags were removed at Ranked Season 10, 8 seasons ago. If you are playing Ranked season not for the challenge and rewards but only for a flag, then don't waste your time.

Divs were never part of regular ranked season and should not be. There is Ranked Sprint for this reason.

That's my point detailed. I've been accused of camper with such ships or more recently in Slava, People expect Slava to push like Kremlin because they don't know it yet. And because i get bored easily from camping sometimes i push in caps sitting behind island with Slava. Then, they still call me camping in the cap. There are ships that can push instead of useless dmg farming from distance, and ships that can't push. Simple as that. You know, we are talking the same language here game play wise.

I understand your point but there is a line between useless player and useless damage farming. If it is a top tier BB he should have had less XP for farming lower tier ships (if that was the case) but he didn't which means he did good shots that contributed to team. Was he useless overall? Depends, maybe (as i didn't see the replay). Maybe he could have gotten rid of the radar cruiser first but he didn't. If with this much base XP he comes on top and rest are worse than him, i wouldn't call it useless damage farming. It means others didn't play better than him regardless. I'd call him selfish player that didn't have map awareness for the win but not useless dmg farmin' or maybe he didn't have the right BB or conditions to push, again don't know the game.

You know there are some ships that need to be played at distance (smolly, kutu, belfast, etc.) or their main objective is sniping (IJN BBs and similar, Slava, Champagne and similar) as they are not good in brawling. But i wrote farming useless damage won't put a player on top. If said camper player got 2600 base XP in a losing team (or even in the winning team), it means he/she played best or the second best among 24 players which means they didn't farm useless damage.

Useless dmg farming or kill stealing won't get you on top of the list.

So, PTS seasons cancelled, KoTS boxes cancelled (both may come back at an unknown date). What is next, ranked rewards? Do we know anything else that have got cancelled or about to be cancelled?

A QP who got permabanned for promoting Teamkills, publicly sharing the replay and calling the person he team killed all sorts of stuff. How did he even become QP with such attitude? Or he became a buthead after he was elected to be a QP?
