Yep, posted in post #1, first page.

Yes. I disagree since you are putting 1K player with 20-30K player in the same basket. Also, it doesn't matter if it is a video game, military or other sectors (engineers called senior/junior for a reason). Experience is experience. New players can do this too but there is a section for them, no? Or general discussion forumites could use all the social media instead of using general dicussions, too but again, you guessed it.

I don't mean to get into moderation things. I thought there could be a section or sticky where we could have more meaningful, short but quality information exchange and to do this people who share their information would have experience on certain things like ships, events, ranks, cbs, etc. If it will come down to controlling posts to prevent irrelevant stuff, sure it then requires moderation which is moderators' area, not forum users'. I don't why it was shelved (like many other things), but something like that also could be helpful. I'm sort of looking to see efficient and spot on posts in topics and don't know exactly how it could be done other than reporting posts to moderation, hence came up with such an idea. Other ideas are welcome, too.

Example, new beginners section. This is not a bad idea actually. The QP could be enhanced. Except the problem with the QP term is, it doesn't prevent any of what I suggested. Once in a while a QP or two come to forums, i see them, seldom although I am here daily, they make a comment or two and leave. It doesn't provide refinery or prevent countless pages of unnecessary comments. For example, I want to check some information about CVs right? I go to CV discussion thread, and look for the comments of people like Erazer. Good luck finding them in such a mess. It's not like Erazer exchanging his knowledge or experience with some others like him. Most comments are waste of time to read but you gotta go through to find the meaningful ones. So, from this perspective, I don't know how QP initiatives could be enhanced or play a role, but still sounds like an idea.

Well, that’s why I opened the thread also to hear your thoughts on how it could be done. I explained the firm reason previously.

Except, it wouldn't be a general section 2.

To serve, sharing more accurate information in shorter time with less irrelevant stuff involved which is not the case for general discussions section atm.

Something like New Beginner's section. Or a sticky somewhere in the forum.

Cheers friend, I understand and agree with what you wrote. My thought was, the forum, especially the general section is not well in order. An example, say we want to talk about Fuso's past and present performance in comparison. When you open such a thread at least half of the comments will come from either people that didn't play Fuso but checking its stats, or have little game in them or who don't know its past performance years ago. Here and there you may find some meaningful comments. But why not have a refined conversation, meaning more on spot comments instead of having to go through pages of irrelevant stuff. OR if someone opens a topic about ranked season 3, you'll see pages of irrelevant comments talking about 15th season, 10th season, etc. I hope i was clear.

Hi, No, it is incorrect because i stated in a couple of posts already it would be an open section or sticky

What i wrote was, numbers are figurative (meaning can change) and it would be an open section or sticky. Not something like where only veterans are allowed to comment. A veteran can be a player who's been in the game for a long time and/or played most of the ships, or they can be a coop veteran, CB veteran who played CB battles since the beginning or very early stages, rank veteran who played rank battles since the beginning or very early stages, or operation veteran who knows all the operations much better than others. My point was, having such corner would provide clearer and more informative conversations compared to the general discussion threads which is like borscht soup.

I think you didn't read previous posts, interesting.

    General CV related discussions.

The reticule nerf to CVs really helped DDs a lot...or perhaps not? Edit: Uploaded the video to YT. 46 seconds could be one of the fastest ship sinks?

Why is there an FPS lock at 75?

I know and hence my FPS is set to 60 since last year and a half. Though, for instance, I don't know technically how difficult it would be to embed such option in the game settings.

I checked a dictionary (below). Even if we assume elitism is defined as per Wikipedia (where you copied it from) is correct and Merriam-Webster is wrong, we are talking about a sticky or section open to all without anyone holding any power. The only ones holding power here are the forum administrators and according to your definition they are the elitists.

Yes, unfortunately, we see these coming up very often. Fully agreed.

It may be a ship experience, CB experience, ranked experience, coop experience, event experience, purchase experience, tactics experience, game stats from years ago. It could be anything. You can't know someone is a veteran with closed stats of course but we are not talking about a closed sticky or section. A thread you make in here disappears in either a day or two. There are so many new threads daily in the forum from "What day is today" to "Explain me the Quantum Mechanics". Yes, this I agree. Doesn't seem like the number of veteran players will grow. The only way for its to grow is if players keep playing and playing. WG can give some incentives like emblems to veteran players ( do we have one, i don't remember), flags, patches, a sticky or section in the forum...

Why is there an FPS lock at 75?

I think (correct me if i'm wrong xSudden) what he's asking is, without having to go to registry, or editing the xml or doing it through the WoWs MOD pack, why can't we do it directly from the in-game settings.

    A "Veterans Corner"

I guess it could be one of the topics but I doubt it'd last long since there'd be other stuff to talk about. They also know the state of game, how it was 5 years ago and what it has become. So, not much to comfort there. For what you are suggesting, we need another sticky called "Ranting/Venting Zone" and I guess it would be one of the most populated stickies in the forum.

Of course you are right on this. The 10K is a figurative number. It could be 15K, 20K. The thing is there are good players and bad players at every game count. I am not saying the ones who have more games are better players. Instead, I'm saying they have more experience of game play and perhaps with more ships than beginners. In the case of a 20K bad player, i can still gain from his experience. I could easily see what he is doing wrong that led him to have bad stats in so many games or another example, I'd take his opinions about a ship he played although he may not be good in it instead of someone's opinion who has zero experience in same ship. I thought it would be an open section or a sticky where anyone can jump in but mostly veterans would know that's the place to go when they want to share certain stuff or ask certain questions.

Definition of Elitism; the belief that a society or system should be led by an elite. I think you misused a word here as I do not propose an elite person, society or system to lead WoWs Forum.

    Horrible ship rubberbanding?

The post itself and thread title is not clear to many people. He could have written high latency, desync or other stuff for it to be more understandable for general population. Johnny's post is an answer to op's post at same level. Why should they know? Not everyone in this game is a no life gaming nerd. There are many veterans here (although some may have gotten into gaming, some not). Apparently, people either didn't take op serious as usual, or didn't know how to answer to an unclear thread title and post. And what is your interest in defending a troll?
  24. _HomTanks_

    Horrible ship rubberbanding?

You didn’t answer my question. Of course I can check from google, that’s something else. As per his awful responses I can say I am not sure whether he is serious or trolling.
