    Is too late for Hizen?

I already have the 5K dubs, won’t be spending additional money.

    Is too late for Hizen?

Not if you have Yahagi. In my case, I do.

I think a T9 BB is worth 1K doubloon regardless how bad it is.

    Updates to Ranked Battles

This is what it writes on WG website: Steel hasn't gone anywhere: achieve victories, reach Rank 1, and accrue it to spend on items you desire in the Armory What they mean is they still offer steel reward but almost half the amount compared to previous Ranked Season (5500 vs 3300). The cause of deducting 2200 steel in this Ranked Season is not explained by WG. Note: Thanks for the update and nice explanations. My opinions are in bold.

[POLL] How Will You Use Your Coupon?

Sure but then, Ochakov (which has a radar) is a very squishy dd killer too and still wouldn’t enjoy it in solo random games. Though, it could be fun in divisions where a div-mate can provide a smoke and radar.

[POLL] How Will You Use Your Coupon?

It's in the poll, you can vote for it if you'd like to. My thoughts on Austin is i will most probably not get it. As i checked it last week this was what i commented at a thread; "Austin has almost double the reload time of shells, weaker HE but SAP, 75% RB, Fletcher torps and 30K HP pool with standard heal in comparison to Worcester's 45.5K HP and radar. Sounds like a mutated higher tier Anchorage with different gimmicks (and ofc without the smoke or radar)." So, no radar, no smoke and 30K hp with standard heal sounds too squishy for a T10 cruiser, imo.

Np. New coupons are available and the next ship coupons will be available on 18Jun21.

Didn't think people would be waiting for it since it's not available yet but will be adding it to poll now.

In your opinion why should i get Massachusetts ?

    There are accuracy comparisons of Alabama and Massa with some other Tier 8 BBs below where you will notice Massa has worse accuracy compared to most BBs;

[POLL] How Will You Use Your Coupon?

Plymouth is a T10 version of Belfast '43. In other words it is Edinburgh with radar and smoke in different slots. It fires only AP shells, can't stealth radar like Mino (has 9km radar), slower RoF than Mino, less maneuverable than Mino. no-AA, etc. If you have Benham, you have the best torpedo ship in the entire game. Stalingrad and Bourgogne are better options. I have them both (and JB), and if I didn't have them my first choice would be Bourgogne as it is a better JB overall. However, if you are into CBs, Stalingrad may be more useful. As the last ship in your comment, is FDR. If you have the steels and like playing CVs i think you should go for it. Cheers.

    Updates to Ranked Battles

Right...Well, speaking in general (exclude the exceptions) the skilled CVs will rank out quicker. Afterwards, it will be unskilled CV and skilled surface ship players who will rank out. Lastly, it will be those who press the battle button more.
  14. Such an option was never possible and still is not. Pretty sure, it won't be in the future.

    Flamu’s Secondary Test

To be honest, that should have been the sole purpose of skill rework because more play styles would just enrich the game.

    Updates to Ranked Battles

Lol, gj Though, you know it takes 40% wr CV player to get a sunicum enemy DD killed, hence i think CV players in the golden league (or in any league for that matter) don't even need skill.

    Updates to Ranked Battles

I don’t understand your offer of shortening the golden league. It is supposed to be where most skilled players should be and hence two ranks more or less doesn’t matter to them. Besides shortening it means less games which I wouldn’t want. Golden league seems fine the way it is. Only the awards could be buffed but then I didn’t check how much steel, coal and dubs one can earn in total when ranking out in the golden league, so as long as these rewards are close to previous years I guess there is no problem.

Cpt Skill rework is a big fat cruiser nerf on top of everything else

In this case, maybe it's been bad for you, not for me. I have quite a lot of commanders that are more than the amount of my ships and many are 19points already with other good amount of 10-15 point ones.

Cpt Skill rework is a big fat cruiser nerf on top of everything else

Yes. I have been doing many regrinds that include low tier ships. Even if i didn't do regrind i would still want to be able to play all my ships from any tier at any time i want. Restricting yourself from playing majority of the low-mid tier ships just to squeeze out extra couple of captain points in order to max them out to -21- is not a good solution at all. It is something what desperate players with not having enough ships, enough captains, and/or enough accumulated CXP would do, as a worst case scenario. I think we are having a communication breakdown bud. I don't have ships in order to play them in coop or Snowflake event. I have ships. I play them mostly in randoms and once a year only T10s in coop for snowflake rewards.

People who have nothing else to do other than playing WoWs will take advantage of the free redistribution period. Grant with what? Extended redist. time? Don't think so. But just why? I (and possibly many others) just want to be able to play all ships at port at please without sacrifices. If you are talking about silver credits they were not enough if you continuously grinded or regrinded and now silver credit option is removed. Majority of people i know play COOP only during snowflakes or when they acquire a new ship, to try it out. That's the only time they play COOP.

Don't mean to create confusion here. I didn't mean it would cost 21 points to swap a dedicated Wooster commander with Massa. I wanted to say, transfer conditions of commanders between silver ships remain the same. As a player, if you already have a Wooster, you probably have a high point captain. In order to use it in Midway or Gearing, one would still need to go through re-training where the fun starts. Otherwise, one would still need a premium/special ship to avoid the retraining of a transferred captain and this is already mentioned in developer's bulletin "A Commander without a specialization for a ship can't be assigned to that ship without retraining. This rule doesn't apply to Premium and special ships". Hence, i wrote it mainly targets new players, not you or me :)

Cpt Skill rework is a big fat cruiser nerf on top of everything else

Yes, hence I gave an example of silver ships because majority of the players don't have premium ships, or as many as we veterans have (not like all veterans do anyway) nor they have as many top commanders. In other words, special commanders are small exceptions while many prem ships are also exceptions. Again, special or premium ships are exceptions and if you wanna swap a commander between Massa and Wooster doesn't it have to be 21 points anyway? Same question and comment as above.

Cpt Skill rework is a big fat cruiser nerf on top of everything else

Just checked it in PTS. - As usual visuals are better and more explanatory. There has never been a problem with the Art dept. from this point of view. - Commanders can be specialized in all classes separately but you just can't transfer them from one silver ship to another without re-training except premium/special ships, just like the old times ("A Commander without a specialization for a ship can't be assigned to that ship without retraining. This rule doesn't apply to Premium and special ships"). So, if we have a 10-point commander for New Mexico and also train the same commander with CL/CA, DD and CV perks, we still have to retrain this commander when we want to assign him to one of these classes, say to Ranger, Farragut or Dallas. (a) If we do re-train, each time we need to spend ECXP, if we have, or doubloons because silver credit option is removed ("The ability to accelerate Commander retraining in exchange for credits has been removed, but the amount of XP required for retraining has been halved"). (b) If we don't re-train, there is no use of these commanders as their skills won't be in effect until re-training is complete ("Skills will not work until the Commander's retraining is complete"). (c) If we do not transfer the captain from New Mexico to Ranger, Farragut or Dallas, then there is no point of the multiple class commander training. In other words, the whole thing beats the purpose. To me, it seems like WG is pushing players towards using the same commander in multiple ship classes and by doing so, players will either have to spend much more time trying to accumulate enough CXP which they can use during silver ship commander transfers or they just will take the short route and spend real money to get doubloons for transfer. Hence, my opinion remains same as i mentioned in another thread, this is targeting not only but mainly new players. We, long time players, already have millions of CXP accumulated over the years. For instance, I just saw "+2" commander skill is already available for one of my 19-point captains when i checked in PTS. On the other hand, think of players with a few or no premium ships and think of new players. They will have to go through a long, cold Trans-Siberian journey. - I also checked a couple of skills and wanted to play but couldn't because every time i waited around three minutes for a game to start, the message popped up "Server is overloaded" although only 524 people were online in PTS half an hour ago. But like most agree, it will take long time to try and figure out these skills and yes, it is a big homework. A homework that developers and testers should have done but instead they want community to do their homework. Same as in CV rework, they are pushing a major game change without being sure, without knowing the effect and without a deep analysis. They could have hired more testers or given good enough rewards to attract more people to play in PTS. How can they use their own player base as a lab rat, i don't get it. Why take such a risk? What if it back fires? What if it causes your game's popularity? It just shows they haven't conducted proper risk analysis either and mainly relying on the vicious cycle of players come 'n' go. If one goes, we'll lure another one in (guys guys, just increase the amount of rewards for the recruit/referral program). The intention of adding new commander skills and changing some with more useful ones could be positive and for a better game play in the long run but when i checked my Slava commander i saw i can use four points to get 10% better dispersion when there is no ship in the vicinity of my detection range. I guess it's because Slava, Ohio, Vermont, Yamato variants etc. already have a piss poor dispersion from range. This is one skill, imagine understanding and applying the rest. It will take humongous time. Especially when one thinks there are many players that don't play daily but casually who visit and play 20-30 games per week only. WG needs to understand one thing; players are not their employees. We play this game because we think it is fun. I don't see this skill rework is fun in any way. It is just thrown at us. Besides, definition of fun can change between a scale of 1 to 10 and from a person to another but if you make this game miserable enough with all the never ending missions, grinds/regrinds, poor rewards, scandalous crates, unbalanced CVs, actively encouraging long range camping meta and by getting stingier, soon most of the players will be the ones who only come and go. Just remembered the PR event and the quote "WG: We can't grind the PR, we have jobs and things to do"...
