We all have hard time getting adapted to a new ships and it takes some time to start doing well. Sure but do you think saying Yahagi is not a good ship or Furutaka is a better ship because most players will not spend their time to get better in it would be a fair statement? Show a little broad side, and there you go, you got dev striked in Furutaka, too. It wouldn't be correct if we start labeling ships bad or worse just because a player or some for that matter can't make it work, would it? Again Emerald is a ship with totally different play style and ship chars. Thinking of Yahagi as a torp boat only would be too shallow, and then same would go for other cruisers with torps. Bottom line is, Furutaka is not better than Yahagi as a ship. But it may fit your preferences better. You may have more fun, or somehow may find Furutaka guns more useful although they reload 6secoonds slower, or you may very well only like the look of the ship. These are all personal preferences, not the fact.

1. You played Furutaka in Randoms and it seems you didn't do good in it. 2. You also played both ships in coop and seems you did good in both, but in coop you can't really test a ship skill wise and doing bad is out of question. 3. They are two different ships class wise hence comparing them is wrong in the first place (think like comparing Wooster to DM or A.Nevsky to Petrapavlosk). 4. Just because you like Furutaka better or you do better in Furutaka in coop or you think Furutaka is more fun doesn't make it a better ship than Yahagi. It just constitutes your personal preference of a ship over another. That's it. 5. I have given you the stats in my previous comment. If you can make it work, Yahagi is clearly a better ship. 6. I also have considerable amount of games in both ships and in random.

Yahagi has much quicker main battery reload (9sec vs 15sec), 1KM longer fire range, longer torp range, harder hitting and faster torps, speed boost (Furutaka doesn't have), better ship speed, better turning radius, better rudder shift and much better concealment, plus the premium bonuses. Sorry, what were you saying?

1. That is your opinion which i disagree. It is a very good ship for its tier. 2. It is not the point. The point is Hizen can be bought with 1K dubs and it is not whaling.

His approach is not wrong but conclusion is. A whale is someone who goes full in when dockyard is introduced the first day and buys the ship by skipping all phases with doubloons. We have seen examples of this in all previous dockyard events and I'm sure we will see today many Hizens in Random games. A player who buys 4 phases for 5K doubloon is not whaling but investing smartly because one cannot finish the campaign without spending doubloons for 4 phases anyway. Each phase costs 1950 doubloons separately. Instead of buying them separately, which would make 7800 doubloons, one can spend 5K and get the ship when grinding is completed. Meanwhile, if the player has Yahagi at port he gets 4K dubs return as compensation. Total expenditure for a tier 9 premium BB becomes only 1000 dubs. How is this whaling? Or if the player doesn't have Yahagi, he gets Yahagi plus Hizen for 5K dubs. Again how is this whaling? It is not. In addition, the directives seem really easy. Of course i compare them to previous events, and I believe most of daily random players will finish these directives without even noticing.

If u already have Benham and other T10 torp DDs, go for FDR.

I mean if they meet a skilled CV player that keeps going after them, both will get sunk but Shiki will shoot down more planes. And when they meet unskilled CV players Shiki has significantly better odds of surviving. Considering unskilled CV players dominate the CV class, Shiki has better chances, that's what i meant -

Shikishima AA is is so much better than Yamato's AA it is not even comparable and when you think majority of the CV players are noobs in this game, Shiki AA works very well. At least that's what I have experienced so far.- 40 replies

It is not a worse Yamato. People who like ships with more guns or who don’t have enough steel say this to satisfy themselves. Yes it overpens sometimes but it also deals very high damages to very angled ships Yamato can’t. It is a fine ship, just not for the ones who like ships with more guns like Lyon, Montana, etc. -
Previously they held 3 regular ranked seasons per year? Maybe 4? Can't remember exactly but let's say 3. 3x5500= 16500 Steel Now they have to hold minimum 5 seasons per year to distribute same amount of steel, 3300x5= 16500 If they do this, i see no problem. If not, it would be unfair imo. Right. Right. The incentive is to progress to the upper league for more rewards and better challenge. Yes, but if you stay put, say in Bronze league, still the amount of rewards you'd earn would be much less than upper leagues in comparison. I also don't think comparing this test season to old seasons from every aspect would be fair because this is a "Test" season, and they are trying out something new and in a more correct format. I didn't like the old system that much due to many players grinded their way up to rank 1 by just pressing battle button. I expect this new system to eliminate most of those grinders on the way. Exactly. Knowing that ranked games won't be held at night this season, que time could be quite long in Golden League although it will be more enjoyable playing there as players will be fiercely competing.

Dude, the strongest BB against cita damage is GK. In other words it is the hardest to citadel yet i have citadeled it, double citadeled it from up close or from far distance. Same with any other BB, Kremlin for instance also very hard to citadel if he angles only a bit. But that doesn't mean it wont be citadeled from near or far. Massa is a cheesecake compared to these ships and it also gets citadeled from any distance. He citadels Massa with Slava in the video, the best broad side punisher in the entire game and at around 20km. That is a BS test. Show me a ship that sits or sails broad and Slava can't cita. None. Don't spend your money. If you have doubloons think about it. If not, keep the greens in your pocket. Plus i have both Masa and B along with Alabama, know what i'm talking about. -

The moment WG made it so easy for beginners to grind their way up to tier 10 and filled up the top tier with noobs along with the cv rework, fckd this game up for good. The skill work is just the salt&peppa to add to their main course. Subs and BBs with CV planes will be the deserts. -

Moskva still has zero votes I guess that's because, either many already own it or beginners who don't own it yet don't know what a good ship Moskva is and meanwhile some others also want to get Georgia or Thunderer before they are removed from sale.

Cant access Premium store or Armoury in port?!

It is interesting to read from many players armory, inventory, premium store, etc. not working. I didn't have any issue before and still don't have, meaning i can access anywhere in game or from web page. I think it's like how @Yamato942 described. Make sure the client and game both are updated. -
Whether you join or not, when you play games daily, most of the directive missions are easy enough to be completed automatically. I usually don't even check them until I'm at last 1-2 directives. So, there is no such thing as participating in it and etc. since there is no option to disable it anyway, unless you don't play any games at all.
