I personally like the concept and if they will be AI controlled then it doesn’t matter much I guess (Don’t get me wrong, I am with the idea of getting rid of all tato cv players if possible).

@1MajorKoenig What you are missing is the general CV player skill (which they don't have) level. These changes may be logical for skilled CV players but the noob majority would get even worse in CVs with these changes. Unless your hidden agenda is to have less and less CV players and finally be left with handful of good players here and there, i don't see the point.

Can't you hunt and hurt dds or cruisers with FDR? It has so many torps in one salvo, i'm sure it works on cruiser and static dds too, not to mention its bombs.

To clarify; We have two new campaigns: 1. "In pursuit of Strasbourg" 2. "Ships and Fates" Both Campaigns have 29 days left to complete as of today. In order to complete #2 "Ships and Fates" Campaign 1st Mission Final Task, we need the ship Strasbourg. Hence, the sooner we complete the 1st Campaign "In Pursue of Strasbourg" the more time we would have left to complete the second Campaign "Ships and Fates". A key note here is; The last mission of "In Pursue of Strasbourg" Campaign will be available in 20 days from today. In other words, then we will have only 9 days left to complete this event. If we consider a regular daily player, it would take minimum 2-3 days to finish the last mission and that would leave them at most 5-6 days to complete #2 "Ships and Fates" Campaign. A. #2 "Ships and Fates" Campaign only gives 6 point commanders and some tech tree ships with camos and slots which is nice but not a must. B. This makes Campaign "In Pursue of Strasbourg" a priority. Also, one can do both campaign mission simultaneously which is good but very limited because the final task of the very first mission set of the Campaign "Ships and Fates" requires Strasbourg in order to complete. So, that's as far as one can go simultaneously. But again, if we go back to point (A) and focus on point (B) Campaign "In Pursue of Strasbourg", we would be achieving the goal. As a last note; majority of the people will be on holiday and/or with their family for at least a week-10 days. So, for most of us the timing or the very limited duration of these Campaigns will not serve much.

Perfectly understandable. But then it comes down to what @ForlornSailor wrote as there are other modes in which you can still have fun;

I fully share your pain and frustration but if ranked is locked down for only people with above 50% wr, the pool size would be very small as the average winrate of playerbase is around 47-48%. But, instead of qualifying phases, they could lock the Golden League down for players with winrate below 50-55%, then we could talk about the play quality but it would also mean even less players and more cue. In the old regular ranked seasons, people who ranked out could play in Sea Wolves league some years ago. After ranking out, I remember waiting 10 minutes in cue for sea wolves and then canceling the game a couple of times. So, i really agree locking it down to certain level would provide more fun but don't know what to do with possible much longer cue time.

This new system is also replacing the old regular ranked seasons which never had div plays. Isn't it enough to division up in Randoms already? I'm not pointing at you but in general, I never understood this , "i can't have fun without someone staying beside me" " i need someone else to entertain me" type of approach.

Random compared to Bronze League, yea i'd say so. Silver and Golden should be better.

So, once you reach the qualifying phase, you stop playing T8 and move to T9-10 ships. Game was significantly better than a regular Bronze League game, more like people know where to go, what to do. Kind of like old rank system Rank 10-5. Anyway, I took Musashi and i was the only T9 along with the Hizen (Whaaaale!) on enemy team. Just clipped the dev strike, cuz it always feels good

@Leo_Apollo11 New ranked at the moment; think of old rank system and players between rank 23-15. They are in Bronze league playing now. I saw maybe 1 or 2 good players, like above 55% wr in 18 games or so. Meanwhile i'm spamming all my T8 ships one by one to get the steel. If these players go upper leagues by grinding, it won't be much different than the old system. I mean most of them are just bad, not average, not below average but they can't even sail, without camo, don't know where to go, don't know the map, can't aim, etc. I saw a CV player with 232 games in total in their account. He had a GZ. It is full of people like him. If you see 48%-55% teammates, it is a guaranteed win almost And except 1-2 games, all games had CVs.

As far as i remember the first reddit post included mega and big box ships. Then, i checked again and in some other posts small box short list was included as well. So, most probably i misremember and London is in the short list of small gift boxes. If you already purchased 160 mega crates, i have no words :) You served well.
