My question is; why don’t we get new maps? If new maps are on the way what are those and their release dates? Why does designing or releasing maps take longer than designing Or releasing ships? Community wants new maps. Thanks.

I got your point. You wrote what you think players want in A, B and C and I wrote back they want A and C but there is no such thing as B in the way you described it. Obviously hard limit at Qualifying means hard limit in the amount of games which falls into your number 2. In most cases, good players wouldn't even have to carry the bad players as bad players would be filtered out more efficiently during Qualifying phases. Like i wrote in my earlier posts in this and some other threads, set the max game limit to 8 in qualifying phases and whoever can't pass it let them go back to rank 5 or 3 and repeat again. Would this be a wall like buffer? No. They would still spam games and reach upper leagues but at least it would be better than now. Yes. A player who is good in tier 10 ships will do good in lower tier ships. The opposite would be an incorrect statement. I'm not sure if you are serious with these statements. You possess118 games only in tier 10 and only 2 tier 10 ships along with 3 only tier 9 ships. So, i hope you don't get upset if i say you need more experience to make an appropriate comparison and comments of tier skills. On the other hand, I am basing what i share here on my game experience of 44 tier 10 ships with 1.5 times more tier 10 games over your total games combined and i'm not a bad player either. So telling me i am confused and trying to teach me what is distinct or not, i think is going a little over yourself. Please don't start personalizing it. Let's keep it cool. Also, I'm sure you know writing as long as you can about a subject you don't know doesn't get you a grade A. You know those types of students right? A and C correct, B wrong. There is no such thing as to move ranks themselves alone. Wrong. A and C don’t conflict each other since your IF clause doesn’t exist. But at least if there is a hard limit at Qualifying phases it would prevent people spamming up games their way to upper leagues. So you think being good at tier 10 level and being good in tier 6 level are totally the same things in terms of skill. Well, guess what, no. One’s personal ability only gets better when they learn to play with top tier ships. LoL. Are we talking about singing or football here or a slow motion game designed to keep its potato player base? What talent? Talent in this game is what you learned inclusive of aiming, mechanics, ships, maps, etc. and applying what you learned. It’s not like you wrote a song and sell millions of it or speak 25 languages which are talent. And yes I agree, having higher tier ships doesn’t make one a better higher tier player if that player miserably fails to play them properly. There is no talent in this game but yes, experience, as you noted and guess what playing top tier ships often brings? Experience.

Yes afks is one thing, having afk CVs is another. Had afk CVs multiple times which is almost an automatic loss especially if it’s a multiple dd game. This is a Sprint ranked mode to have fun. But; 1. You can’t have fun due to afk/bot games. 2. Why do they even cal it a Ranked mode? It doesn’t require any skill to to league up. Just spam games and there you are. I mean wtf is a 30-40% wr guy or someone with 500-1000 games doing in my team for golden league qualifying games? Where is the skill here? If this mode doesn’t measure skill then what does Ranked word stand for? Ranking of how many games spammed? Ranking of who had less afks and/or bots? Ranked of how quick a CV sunk a surface ship? What does rank 1 mean? Does rank 1 represent the skilled players who reached there or the ones who pressed the battle button the most? This new mode is like the ZEN mode of this game which will last all year long, super easy which is designed in a way even tatos can easily rank out and think they achieved something. The whole purpose of this company is to make this game dumb friendly and level it down as much as they can, so they can reach more customers. Igor: “Guys make sure the new system allows everyone to rank out regardless they are good or bad players...We need happy people who think they achieved something. Happy, satisfied customer will bring more money...and hey, ignore those obnoxious veterans, they are minority anyway”.

See, I don’t play other games. I go around, spend time with family, etc. but this is the only game I play. Actually, I tried playing pubg and subnautica a couple of years ago but didn’t continue. That burn out happened to me in 2016 also and didn’t play for a year.

Have both and just came back from a holiday as well. I could ask the same Q to you? Why do you have so low amount of games or why couldn't you improve yourself in the game in 5 years? Which old ranked season? There were two ranked formats previously; Regular Ranked and Sprint Ranked (as explained in my previous post).

You mean this new Sprint system vs the old Sprint is more grindy? No way, the old Sprint was much quicker. You mean the this new Sprint system vs the old Regular Ranked is less grindy? You can't compare the two as one was regular ranked and this new one is just the old Sprint in a league format. Overall, in both regular and sprint ranked formats, grinding was an option to rank out but at least the old sprint would take only an afternoon to rank out vs this new mode of continuous Sprints. Now you rank out a league in a day and rewards are much better in terms of "Sprint" Ranked. RIP Regular Ranked.

I came to check this thread after seeing the title and thinking, wtf? who and how discriminated the disabled players? Then, i read the op's post.... I should end it here cuz i really don't feel like being polite but i will force myself early in the morning. The thread title is wrong and is misleading. It is because there is no such thing that the new ranked system is discriminating disabled players. New rank system runs over 5 weeks? quite long for anyone to keep progressing. It takes only a day to league up and pass qualifications of bronze and/or silver leagues for an avg player like me. They did not make a rank system that discriminates disabled people. They made a new sprint that is so easy to progress it is not even fun to play anymore regardless of win or lose. They should introduce hard battle limits like 8 battles max. at qualification phases as this ranked system measures no skill whatsoever. And if you are playing it for the rewards, like i wrote, you have more than a month of time. And yes you used disabled card to take attention to the thread while in reality there is no such thing. The time limits you wrote apply to everyone and many of us work and adapt to those playing hours. Nothing special here. Plus, so many players do not even play this mode. Some of them are sunicums and think this mode doesn't measure skill, some think rewards are lame, some don't have time but then they don't play the game that much anyway. Not every mode is for everyone and there is no such rule as one will play all modes of the game. If one wants to do that then they should be able to set their time tables accordingly. If not, they shouldn't complain. The world doesn't revolve around neither of us and a game can't be designed meeting everyone's standard and level of satisfaction. Yes, i also complain about this new ranked mode. It is not the regular ranked we know but it is just the ranked SPRINT where no skill is required. I want the old ranked, better yet, i want it much more challenging in a level where i don't feel my brain cells are being raped when i see 30% WR player (or a player with 300 games in total) in Golden League Qualifications in my team.

Well they got what they want. They want dumb and the majority of their player base is dumb. Goal achieved it seems.

The new ranked system is a bad joke... - First they canceled the regular and sprint ranked games - Then, they made it look like a new system by introducing new names such as bronze, silver and gold - They didn't add more rewards but calculated exactly what was given before and made sure they won't give anything more than that amount in all seasons Only the look of ranked system is different. You still play with 38-40% WR people in Gold qualifications and they still ruin your games. WG made no attempt to exclude them. In other words, WG did not care about the game quality by introducing the so-called new ranked system. Still glue sniffers spam games and reach out to the top league. What WG did in reality is, they deleted the regular ranked seasons and only presented Sprint. This new ranked system in reality is just the old Sprint ranked games. Anyone and their grandmother rank out with eyes closed and ruin others' games while doing so. No skill involved by any means. Yes, you may see one-two good players here and there but that's it. MAJORITY are miserably bad players who have no idea about the ships, map aiming or anything else. I am convinced that after 18 seasons of Regular Ranked seasons and so many other Sprint Ranked games and now seeing how this new Ranked games are, WG doesn't want a skill based ranked system. They just want as many people possible to participate to this new mode as usual. They didn't set up any game limits before, after or in Qualifying phases in order to make sure people can't just spam their ways up to the ranks. So, the current system measures exactly zero skill. Keep that in mind and don't flatter yourselves with imaginary skills. Although some of you may be good players in reality, most players in this ranked system are not. WG...You failed once again. Don't think we are not aware of what you developers have done. You have done absolutely nothing, you have changed nothing but put some new labels out there. But I suggest WG to change the name of this ranked system to "Potato Heaven" or "New Ranked: Where spamming players with zero skills meet and greet!" GJ.

Qualifying phases do not hold the bad players back from reaching upper leagues. This part was not addressed by the developers while it was the main complaint about the old system. Probably they thought bad players won’t go thru the Q. Phases but they forgot to add limitation to the number of battles one can have in Q. Phases. 8 Battles should be maximum to qualify and if one cannot qualify in 8 battles, they should go back to league, and repeat from rank 5 to Q. Phases or from rank 3 to Q. Phases. People will spam and already spamming hundreds of games to league up is a failure of development team who worked on this rank system. This just beats the purpose of ranked games if they were to test player skills by any means.

I have Ashitaka since it came out and don’t get what you mean by poor shell performance as it has Amagi guns in tier 7. It hits really hard for its tier and as long as you know how to angle you can mitigate damage as well. It is great ship overall to the ones who know how to make it work.

No, I did not. You wrote that the problem is new ranked not having divisions and division plays being fun. (you mention the fun factor) And I explained why that problem occurs. Now you involve a new argument grind factor which is something else. But even this new argument is very subjective and is not generally accurate as there are also players who enjoy playing solo and rank out quite quick if opposite of grinding means fun. Long story short, good players that rank out quicker than others never needed divisions and grinders will always grind.

Cvs are op, most players are not.

And that problem occurs because this new system is a combination of both sprint and regular ranked seasons where divs were never a part of regular ranked games.
