    When you're in a CV and facing a DD, it really depends on the DD player (at least in this 1vs1 mode and in small maps). I won against CVs with DDs like with Hsiengyang, Le Terrible, etc.

    I really think banning Musashi and Georgia for a short period of time from CBs and restricting Alaska use to (1), is better for the Squall/Gale players. They may believe it is a disadvantage for them but the real disadvantage for them would be while playing against better teams from same or higher leagues. Better players would take better advantage of those ships. Hence, in a sense, these restrictions are more lower league friendly although they may not grasp it yet.

    1. Alaska is still allowed. 2. I think that "your last change to get Georgia/Alaska" was due to their removal from accessibility in the following patch and was a notice to all users, not only to the ones who planned to utilize Georgia in CBs.

    Actually, this would be more accurate; you bought the Mazda and next week state bans certain cars (not only Japanese) from racing in Nurnberger Racing track for a week but meanwhile they can travel at Autobahn and other roads.

    W.Virginia / Mutsu owners, what’s your though on them?

    - W.Virginia has 406mm guns with 16.1km (without the spotter plane), while Mutsu has 410mm guns (basically Nagato guns) with 20,4KM rannge. They both hit hard. - Their AP deal same amount of alpha strike (99K), AP DMG (12400) and DPM (198K) are same. - W.Virginia AP shells have better penetration and accuracy. - W.Virginia is a slower ship, so positioning is important in her. - W.Virginia has better AA than Mutsu. - Mutsu has around 9K more HP. I have both ships for years and enjoy both but if I had to choose one, i'd prefer keeping W.Virginia. Although it is a slower ship, it's more accurate and Mutsu broad side can be unforgiving.

    It'd be good to keep in mind that WR in this 1 vs 1 mode may not give you the best idea as there are some players who play this mode not necessarily to win but to grind their T8 ships or who test certain ships with different builds/captains for fine tuning or some playing from work/school at breaks where they can get distracted. I think, data should be categorized per maps/ship types/win-loss-draw. Thanks in advance!

    You can't be serious. The game you are already playing offers you a ship for FREE depending how much you play or how much coal you obtain thru whatever sources. If you wanna talk about time investment then why do you play or have you played until now? When you play you invest your time anyway, don't you? So, in return for the invested time you get this ship for free. There is no if, or, buts about this... No you don't get shafted and yes, you can use these ships in all other modes. WG could have restricted them from ranked, too if they wanted, right? Right. In no single place, they stated they will be allowing all ships in all game modes at all times. Football and WoWs. Himmm, very similar, almost the same. Sometimes, i just can't believe what i'm reading in this forum. I'm fkn dead serious.

    Okay but both Musashi and Georgia were coal ships as well. Meaning, they were free to get. Same goes for Alaska. So, there goes your whole argument down the drain... Also, where was it ever stated that these ships would be present in all future game modes? Nowhere. There it goes again. Lastly, are you saying that your clan's whole strategy was based on these ships? Because, if you can't win with one Alaska and without Musashi or Georgia, then sorry but the problem is not the ships.

    @YabbaCoe First of all, it is a great decision to add 1 vs 1 mode as games are quick and fun. The definition of fun will depend on the MM and map of course. You can win against a Lexington in Massa in the map Two Brothers but can lose to AVP in Tirpitz in the same map. There are some small maps and some bigger maps. In those small maps, sometimes the CV doesn't have enough time to sink a cruiser or a BB before they get both caps and time starts ticking but since entering to cap would be a direct suicide with CV while enemy ship is there, the only option remains to sink the cruiser or BB in the remaining time as points tick fast. It's not always doable. Same goes for surface ship classes. When a BB enters caps, what can you do with a cruiser other than hit and run? Nothing. Meanwhile a lucky BB shell will hit you and there goes 70% of your hp. So, is including CVs to Brawls bad? No, because you can win against them *depending on the type of your ship, enemy CV and map. If you roll good dice (meaning MM RNG), you can win, if not, lose, simple. Also, this is not a competitive mode but rather 1 vs 1 fun mode. Hence, it is okay to include any class and even subs into this mode. I understand that your point might be to monitor and retrieve class interaction data on 1 vs 1, however, the data you'd extract from this mode would not provide realistic info in most parameters as the map, location of caps, epicenter play important part to distort it. This mode favors specifically some ships like Massa with good AA, fast heal reload consumable and long range secondaries, or certain cruisers with heal or fast firing ones like Mainz, but then again, it all comes down to the map and ships decided by MM. Is the player factor important too? Yes, but in 1 vs 1 brawl, not as much as the ship type and map MM generates for you. In this brawl, I sank a sunicum player in GZ with my Saipan easy or won against a Lexington in my Hsiengyang. Yet, lost against a 47% WR player in their AVP while i was in my Tirpitz because there is nothing you can do against the AP bombs other than slalom which only works up to a point. It is a fun mode. Could it be more fun? Always. Here is a hint; give better rewards, like nice camos with good bonuses (which would help many players as they are short on camos) or perma camos or a T3-4-5 ship in the end, or better amount of coal, or a badge. Overall, thanks for adding this fun mode back which i think is good for the game.

    So? Does playing secondary Shiki make its guns less accurate? Or decreases its gun caliber or ship hp? Or you would be able to sneak up in enemy ships and surprise them with stealth Shiki attacks, if you didn’t have secondary build? What a joke excuse... You just added secondaries as an extra threat to enemy besides its deadly guns. It’s not a meme in ranked where total number of enemy ships are almost half the random mode teams. Like others stated, (1) you are part of the problem of current meta you question (2) it is more often to see two or three DDs per side than five. But you bringing it up here as if it happens very often is hypocritical.

    It is not that easy yes but even this definition depends on both dd and cv players. I as a tier 10 potato cv player sunk Hallands with two squadrons, or sunk a full hp Smolensk with Bomb divers of Lexington. Suppose the players I was able to sunk were poor players. I have also seen so many unicums in Halland and in other DDs getting bullied by 40 something % WR CV players and either get sunk by them or by their teammates. So being a good player in Halland only delays the inevitable a bit compared to poor dd players, but doesn’t cancel it out and good cv players wouldn’t even lose that many planes while sinking it.

    So, what you are telling us is basically Atlanta was decided to be given a range buff because Flint has smoke? Does any of the decision maker have game play experience in 11km range Flint and if yes, how is it? Is it more fun than before or is it fun to play it at all now? Many of us know from experience it is trash now. Last question is why not give them both the same range buff, in other words, why did you have to choose one ship only? What is the logic here? Let’s buff Atlanta so we can sell more and Flint is for free anyway or what?
