This is not new. It has been brought up since 2015 on and off. Wg will never allow trading ships between accounts because their sales will be impacted highly by doing so.

If there is no such thing as karma, they don’t have to learn not to care about it.

“Minnesota: worth the grind?” -No. Unless it is the only line left to grind, it isn’t worth.

Have Marceau and Yoshino. Don't have Salem but it's a super heal DM so i know how it plays. Getting any of these ships depend on the taste. -If you are a cruiser player, you have 2 options, if DD player, 1. -If you are an overall meaning general player and looking for thrill-fun, then definitely Marceau. -Yoshino is as boring as Minnesota. For some, spamming HE from J line, 20km may be fun but not for me. Some people like Yoshino because an enemy ship can accidentally catch one of your 20KM torps, or you can farm from distance safely as long as you don't sail broadside which requires zero skill. -Salem can be real thrilling and scary if you don't know how to handle those heals at correct max distances but once you learn i assume it is a fun ship as well. -Marceau has, in today's WoWs whatever it means, decent AA with def.AA consumable. Worse than Halland, but similar to Smaland AA. But the ship is just fun to play. High speed cruise, stealth torps, fast reloading guns totally unlike Kleber (although Kleber has rb). Regarding Ohio and Slava, I voted for Ohio due being tankier, having secondaries, hard hitting guns, etc. You can approach with Ohio and withstand certain amount of incoming fire. You can only approach with Slava when there is one or no ship in the vicinity because it can't tank anything. It does poor damage to bow in or angled BBs but if they show broadside, then you can slap them really hard with Slava, which is the only gimmick it has. In return, it will just absorb damage like a sponge and sink quite fast as it has trash armor for a tier 10 BB. So, looking for openings and broadsides all game long and playing from distance is not my thing, also that's why I voted for Ohio.

You are telling me the median of a player will be such and such % after N amount of games. I'm saying, yes but those factors can affect the median high or low and you can't simply disregard them negligible as if they don't exist. Hence, the medians of random and ranked games of a person can be different. -

I feel like i'm beating a dead horse here, maybe you feel the same. So better to quit here. No probs, i studied long years ago stuff like differential equations, numerical analysis, all calculus I/II, eng statistics and others, and you're talking about sophomore level stats which i'm familiar with it. -

Then how come i ranked out with 60-62% wrs many times (in 130-140 games) in real ranked games when they existed and how come i have 50% now after ranking out in silver? Does that mean i am an ^^ extremely unlikely good or bad player? You are totally disregarding the luck factor of MM as well as other factors, imo. On the other hand, I agree, a 30% random stat player to achieve 70% in ranked is extremely unlikely. But a person with simple logic, a player with higher wr % in overall is likely to achieve higher % in ranked too. Do we agree until here? If we do, i remember a player with 49-50% solo wr in random games from the old regular ranked games who ranked out in less than 100 games with around 70% wr (without using CVs). How do you explain this and similar occurences? An exteme fluke? Not everything can be fluke right? When comparing the overall stats of a player's Random games to his stats in Ranked, we need to consider their motivations, MM, number of players, specs of their ships and many other things. Once you add all these different factors and put them in calculation as coefficients those stats will change for ranked. Comparing random to ranked stats straightforward, without including other factors and saying "if he has 50% random overall wr, he can have 45 to 55% wr in ranked. Above and beyond would only occur in extremely unlikely cases" would be just too simple and mathematically incorrect as much as you mention the basic statistics. -

Ironically, you are repeating me here. 1. A player can play 300 games and have 60% or 50 games and 60%. Number of games is irrelevant. 2. Luck is afactor in all WoWs game modes (except maybe ops and coop) as long as the MM is random which is a pure gamble. It's a box of chocolate. You don't know what you're gonna get until you open it. So, regardless of the percentage of luck being big or small, it is a factor. -

I got first bloods, too and lost. First blood is not the determining factor in winning of ranked games, but team consistency and common sense are. A team without them, doesn't matter whether you get the first or second blood, will still fail to win. -

This guy i posted has similar stats in solo and t10 games. So he presents some statistical skills but he did not during the game. That's what caught me surprised. -

That's what I'm saying. These examples show how important each player's role in 7vs7 as everyone needs to achieve more than they would in 12vs12. Because you can turn the game around in randoms even if you are at ship disadvantage like 8vs12. However,in 7vs7 you will lose if you have more than one ship disadvantage in most cases. Even if the high % wr player hasn't sunk but his team is losing shipwise, there is only so much he can do. I'm still amazed with that yoshino player ss i posted earlier. -

I don't disagree with overall stats. What i'm saying is those stats of a person who has high wr % in random doesn't mean he will necessarily rank out with similar %. Same goes to a below avg player. Comparing random games to ranked games and expecting same or similar %s would not be realistic imo. Because what you can do against 12 players, how long the game lasts, etc. are different than the conditions in a 7 enemy ship game. I've seen many high % players losing games in this ranked season and losing like they are at 4th-5th place in their team. Why? Because their team sucked so hard, they didn't have enough time to make a difference. On the other hand, i understand your point that such flukes happen. Yes, they do. But the stakes at 7vs7 is higher, so are the chances of having flukes more often or longer flukes. Plus this is not really the regular ranked. It is the old Sprint Ranked. Anyone and everyone reaches gold league in no time. So, expecting very risky games each time we press the battle button in this Sprint Ranked mode would be accurate. -

I lost 5 games in a row in ranked today. Some games ended quick. After checking the CVs, we had 40% enemy had 62% wr CV player. In one game there was a Hindenburg in my team with 356 games overall. In another game 4 players in my team had less than 800 games total. That "unlucky" word has an explanations like these. It doesn't mean you do bad in the game necessarily or you could do better if your stats were 70%. Each time we press the battle button, we are gambling. That's what it is. I think no one is complaining about a team that fights but still loses. Most of the time complaints are about teams that camp away from caps, getting devstruck cruisers while sailing full broad or yolo, die ships and lose the game in a moronic way. -

The statistical average of a player, i guess, only matters to a certain point. If i elaborate, you'd think the player with the stats in below screenshot would do good in ranked, right? Or at least better than general. But he was last on the team because he parked behind an island and tried farming enemy BBs while two DDs from my team were fighting two enemy DDs and another ship in C cap, which was right in front of him. So, he contributed nothing to the win. Then, you wonder how come he has such stats as his solo and T10 stats are similar to the overall. Well, i don't know the answer how he's got those stats but in that ranked game, he played like a 30% wr player. This of course can go vice versa as some players with below average overall stats can play surprisingly good. Talking about ranked only. -
There is one thing good about Italian ships, actually they are better than all other ships in this; their design and how slick they look.

Ranked games as fun as every time > NOT
_HomTanks_ replied to totosniperofhell's topic in General Discussion
Many players choose DDs due to BB over population and many choose CVs to grief and get an easy win if they can. Cruisers get blapped. So, there are your two options of classes to play. -

But hidden menace slows down returning of the planes to CV for 50%. Isn't it a huge draw back as this CV's only gimmick is the super fast speedy planes? Here is my capt set up;- 182 replies

1vs1 Brawls: the revenge of the snowflakes
_HomTanks_ replied to Cippalippus's topic in General Discussion
When you mentioned the 100K to Massa, i remembered now; in one game i did 105K to Massa and still lost. It was a very small map where the CV detection range (i don't use the detection range capt skill) was almost in the cap even though CV was almost at J line. I was like, this Massa has 66K hp, i did 105K, how much do i have to do more to sink it, wtf...If it was a bigger map, he was dead though. Yea, it doesn't pen like Saipan but fires do lots of damage. Slow deaths are for bigger maps but MM is a gamble anyway.- 182 replies

There are more ships in the game than a Kagero. Try others if you are having trouble with Kagero.

1vs1 Brawls: the revenge of the snowflakes
_HomTanks_ replied to Cippalippus's topic in General Discussion
This is true. I sunk a Tirpitz, GZ, Lexington and a Le Fanta in Indomitable and got sunk by a GZ once as i got too close to his secondaries which was my fault, otherwise this CV is capable of sinking many ships from all classes.- 182 replies

There is no need. They can't survive in T10 battles with their current specs, hence would need to be modified/buffed heavily. In addition, there is a premium RN BB in T8, Vanguard, and T8 French tech tree BB, Richelieu doing fine there. If you are having trouble facing these ships, you can watch some videos, check WoWs Wiki https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/World_of_Warships to get a better understanding and how to play against them. For ranked/brawling I'd suggest Bismarck/NC as tech tree BBs and Kii/Tirpitz as premium BBs.

1vs1 Brawls: the revenge of the snowflakes
_HomTanks_ replied to Cippalippus's topic in General Discussion
Barwls are over for me; My BB picks would be Kii, Tirpitz, Odin and Massa. DD picks would be French and Pan Asian DDs. Cruisers could be anything but Chapayev proved strong. CVs, AVP is only valid in case of German/Russian BBs and bad against DDs. Saipan, Enty and Shokaku i'd say. But Kii is a very solid ship for 1vs1. Try it out.- 182 replies

_HomTanks_ replied to Cippalippus's topic in General Discussion
The CV type doesn't matter in small maps for lightning fast ships like Le Terrible or Le Fanta. You can try them out and see yourself, too. Since you cannot cap without a smoke, the only and/but best option is to fly to enemy CV with speed boost. The CV, no matter what CV it is, won't have enough time to sink you until you reach him. In big maps, i wouldn't be so sure with French DDs but again it is difficult to beat a DD with lots of smoke like Hsiengyang or Siliwangi. Just get into the cap, pop a smoke, and these are medium to long duration smokes unlike the RN/KM ones. Wait around for a minute and a half until the smoke disappears and then move to next cap. Meanwhile CV will hit you once or twice but not enough to finish you off. Then pop up another smoke and cap the second one. GG. It is even easier in epicenter with such smoke DDs.- 182 replies
