Exactly. I am almost sure that ticket would not be responded at all or with a very vague response like “Dear customer/nickname, thank you for your concern. We will be working on it shortly.” And that’s it...Because the whole karma system is one sided and functional only for misbehaving in chat and perhaps unsporting conduct. And if you get to 1500 plus karma, what do you receive? A thank you for your positive contribution to the game, a ship, 5 flags or camos? A big fat Nothing. System lacks incentive. Hence, +1 and -1 plays poorly are pretty much equal in this design. The whole point of this design is to protect poorly playing whiners in order not to lose the game population as it allows them to suck at the game and ruin others’ time but if they hear something in return their feelings will be hurt. Their toxic gameplay is allowed but toxic chat is not, this is why I call it one sided. And IMO , toxic game play is worse than toxic chat. But whatever yea, reporting plays poorly doesn’t do crap...

What do you think is the punishment to players who get reported plays poorly if it is not a big fat nothing? It can’t be game ban like chat ban, no one ever received a mail from wg stating that they played poorly in such and such game either. Do you think they receive some other type of punishment?

Np. I thought exactly the same until I received the ships and realized it isn't the case

Those are permanent new year camos for tier 8 ships given together with the ships Just click on one of your t8 ships and check the camo section. You will find them there.

A big fat nothing. Only -1 karma.

What "rare" ships do you have ? And how did you get them ?
_HomTanks_ replied to Ronchabale's topic in General Discussion
Well, apparently Enterprise is not a rare ship. -
How is everyone getting on with Puerto Rico grind?

That is partially correct because price was an issue too. It is true that the main issue was the intro of the event, but also players did not know that one had to spend 24+35 K dobloons to play the ship immediately until they saw the port and some people buying the ship and playing it immediately. Then, the cost was an issue for those who wanted to get it maybe for a 100 bucks instead of 200 because in the beginning event details were not as clear as now(some sentences were even modified or deleted in the original wg post later). Tl:dr, yes and no, both were issues but I agree intro of the event was the biggest issue.

0.8.11.1, Ranked Sprint: Tier VIII Duels
_HomTanks_ replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Okay, then don’t play this mode of ranked if you think it is not fun. Why all the drama and whining? -

0.8.11.1, Ranked Sprint: Tier VIII Duels
_HomTanks_ replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
I think sprint will work for the directives. Check out below link: To clarify: We're changing Directives conditions - you'll now be able to complete economic missions of the Directives 4-6 in Ranked sprint. (You've already been able to do it for directives 1-3). Directive 7 is unchanged due to there being no Ranked battles when it'll be active. -

Too much complaining and mimimimi here. You are forgetting the fact that this type of rank mode is for fun only. Nothing competitive here. It is the opposite of regular ranked seasons. Free flags&coal. If you think it is not fun, don’t play it. I just don’t get the whining... -
to those who are considering buying the thunderer
_HomTanks_ replied to kapnobathrac's topic in General Discussion
I don’t care at all about jingles the cmdr since it has zero talent but shipwise i’d Get both Thunderer and Ohio. -
Okay 😂

One is BB, the other is a cruiser. They are both very good in their classes. Make the decision on which class you like to play most. With the ifhe change you can still do lots of damage in Smolensk although it would be less than before ifhe change. With thunderer on the other hand you land very precise both he and ap salvos. Both ships are up to taste.

_HomTanks_ replied to kapnobathrac's topic in General Discussion
Since it is a t10 we could compare it to Ohio instead. They both fire very precise salvos if the aim is accurate. Thunderer has a shorter reload but same amount of guns. -
Yours may be, not my JB. Oh wait, you have neither one of the ships and making comment about ships you never played. 🙄

You can send a bow in Stalin to port in 3 minutes if not earlier with a Yamato. -
JB > all coal ships.

In my experience, games are based on player skill level, and RNG. There is no thing as being lucky. Yes, when one presses the start button and sees there is no radar ship in his team but enemy has 2-3, it is frustrating but that is not luck or unluck, it is the RNG of MM. If the start button would have been pressed 2 seconds earlier or later, those radar ships could have been on our team. This is the MM design what WG proposes to players. On the other hand, we could play with a radar ship and not have to worry about it. A radar ship is just an example but an important one in ranked. It is true that there are players who will rush to cap and die. It is because they are not good strategists. Failing to think and plan a couple of moves ahead before entering the cap helps them getting 'plebbed'. This point is mostly for DD players but have seen all classes doing it, even a cv, imagine. So, some people play just to play. They keep going until they see an enemy ship and start shooting when they see one. 1. Making the right choice of ship is one of the most important things in ranked. What i mean is, most of us do not play every single ship at the same level. In other words, we play some ships better than others. There are ships we play very good, some mediocre and some we simply didn't figure out how to be sunicum in them yet. Of course this does not apply to the small percentage of players who play every single ship to its limit or very good because they pretty much use their strategical thinking, know each ship characteristics and have good amount of experience in that particular ship. 2. Patience is something most players don't have but a must have in ranked. Be patient. I don't mean stay at the very back, and sleep shot from there. I mean do not rush unless you have clear map with full information and you are sure that rush will give you definite advantage. 3. Check the minimap in short periods because you need to base your plans on it. 4. Don't think about how to save a star. It may lead you to suicide rush at some point of the game just to get more damage. Think about how you can eliminate the opponent without getting eliminated and make/plan your moves accordingly. Of course if it is end of the game or your ship is the only one left from your team, and you know for sure the game is lost even if you sink one or two enemy ships, then a yolo rush could be feasible. I don't want to get into too much details of rushing conditions here. In most of my games i saved a star without realizing, meaning, i did not have any intention of saving a star when i played. If you sink or damage enough of enemy ships, you will save a star. 5. If you are playing a dd, try to cap but capping is not worth getting sunk, mostly, especially in the beginning. Do not take risks that will send your to port early. Wait for the right time and harass enemy ships while they are capping. 6. Observation is very important. I wrote above checking the minimap and strategizing the game play. Also constant observation of all or specific enemy ships will help you see their misplays and give you a chance to punish them. 7. You don't need to be a unicum or sunicum to ranked out easily. You could be just a good player and rank out in below 100 games, or you could be a sunicum player and rank out in 300 games. there are examples like that out there. 8. Don't play too many games as you won't be able to focus effectively anymore. When you realize you start making obvious gameplay mistakes, stop playing ranked. 9. Also, stop playing ranked when you start losing more game after game. Don't push it. Take a break. For instance, when the ranked season starts, i found it useful to rank up one ladder a day only. Monday rank9, Tuesday rank8 and so on. Of course one can rank up a couple of ladders in a day but can also rank down the same way. What i say here is valid for starting from rank 10. 10. Don't get distracted in the chat. There will almost always be people writing their life story in chat. Ignore it. Are they love words? ignore it. Cussing at you? Ignore it. You are there to play ranked. Focus. Ranked has been fun to me more than randoms. If you like good game play, then; 11. Play ranked and try to rank out first week or two. This is mostly because majority of the very good players want to get done with ranked asap and hence play it as the season starts. Well, playing with such players or against them is always fun because they know what they are doing or will be doing. They don't rush and die most of the time, they can strategize, they know the ships well, they know how to aim, etc. Playing among good players is always big fun. To me the biggest fun and best part of the game tbh. It is sad that we see so few of them in randoms or mostly don't see them probably due to huge playerbase. Let me know if you have any Qs.

Yamato is one of the strongest ships in entire game. But one needs to know how to play as it is not newbie friendly. Considering you have played only 500 plus games overall, maybe need to be more patient and play more to gain experience. There are videos of Yamato in YT, that could be helpful.

Understood. Thank you for your prompt response.

@Crysantos I have some questions: 1. `We’re going to revamp the existing upgrades and add new ones in future. Stay tuned for more news!` <--- "the sentence" Revamp is defined as `give new and improved form, structure or appearance to`. If "the sentence" is talking about moving current unique upgrades to RB, it is not a revamp. Because moving them to RB would be a new but not an improved form, if we take improved in a positive way, of changing it structure. However, if 'the sentence" is talking about giving new and improved form to THE existing upgrades, it is something else. If so, could you please share what these changes are? 2. Will the already obtained unique upgrades be removed from players or only the not obtained ones will be available in RB? Thanks.

Nothing earns like a Missouri (period).
