If anyone has any beef with the PR event that was already shared a million times in many threads. And if this is not enough, you can write a personal letter, email or whatever to WG expressing your discomfort. But this thread is not that thread. Can you share the link please? Because rare meaning getting it from a SC or xmas crate doesn't make sense. So, you can get Yahagi, or Azuma, or De Grasse, Roma, Massa, Alabama, Lenin, and others etc. from SC or xmas crate, too, but they are not rare. Now what?

So, besides the mismanaged PR event although they let you have a free, upon easy grind, tier 7 ship, you want to protest the company that created, developed, and let you play this game. Shin has a extra turret and high alpha dmg but shorter range torps. I like hatsu more.

@Sunleader Both some of the potato population and game play quality can be improved and everyone would enjoy playing more. How? Remember SC2 Leagues? For ones who never played SC2; there were leagues. "Ranked from the lowest to the highest, the Leagues are: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master and Grandmaster. Players are placed in a league after having completed 5 placement matches. After that, a player may get moved to another league, depending on performance. Though the time and frequency of these movements are kept explicitly hidden. Regardless of a player's performance, however, placement matches currently do not place players in the highest league, Grandmaster. With even a perfect placement record, a player must work their way through the initial placement division(s) before being placed in Grandmaster." Now, i'm not saying this could be copied or is the right way to do it. However, such a system can make sure everyone is at where they are supposed to be based on their skill level. Hence, a system with a similar mindset can be implemented here. On the other hand, i am sure WG knows better and might have reason/s since they have been keeping apples, oranges and pineapples in the same basket for four years.

I think it is not related to the amount of battles played. Missouri is in rare list but has 4 million games played...or Kutuzov 3.6 million. May be "rare" ships means the ones that will never be in stores again and non rares but also not in sale anymore like enterprise or makarov, will hit the stores back someday, maybe after some mods.

As per WG's captain logbook, neither Makarov nor Enterprise are rare ships. May not be in sale anymore but not rare, rare in sense of Kamikaze, Nikolai, Gremmy, etc.

I understand same amount of dmg can be done by other T8 carriers in T10 games although not often. This video just shows us this much dmg can be done in a t10 game by this carrier. The impression on forums was more like, it is a bad ship that can't do much damage, or useless damage by farming. I think it depends on who is playing it since the player decides on the target selection and timing. Another thing, the ease of playing with Enterprise, or Kaga, or Saipan, although Saipan is not that easy, may lead us thinking how hard to achieve same standards with Indomitable and indeed it may be harder to play with it than others. Is it a fun cv? This is a question with yes, no and maybe since everyone has a different taste. Would someone pay money for this ship? Well, you did and so many others. :} From your experience i conclude this; "cv potatoes, don't buy this cv, you will have a hard time adapting and hence liking it. CV gurus, buy it if you want since you like challenge."

I know what you mean by a losing team from cv perspective but they were indeed behind points and caps for a long time. What this player did was going after single ships except the beginning where he couldn't make much dmg. The plane health seems very good to fly and bomb over Balti and then bomb musashi by losing a plane or none. I am aware of the ship, read and watched a lot but it is not as bad as some think. May be dull, but doesn't seem bad.

Well, apparently Indomitable is quite a capable ship since it can perform 225K in a T10 game;

Especially Venezia is a monster. Imo Italian lines need more patience than other lines as keep checking on enemy broads to land some ap shells will be rewarding even in long ranges. Some people play this line crazy good.

Imo Italian cruisers are strong and enjoy them. Especially t8 and above. Just be patient until all tiers are unlocked and get used to them.

Dockyard is a nice idea with nice visuals. I also think all other ships should be built there.

Since you play all classes and for general use Bourgogne would be best pick. But you also mentioned wanting to use it at CBs would make stalingrad and somers better candidates, and between the two, Stalingrad would be my first pick for both ranked, CBs and randoms by far. U did the right purchase, hf

Another question could be why someone would buy this cv if they already have GZ, Enterprise, Saipan and Kaga (collector point of view is neglected)?

If you want a BB that can shoot down more planes than Roma, you could consider Kii as it has the best AA in T8 BBs, and then Lenin alongside MassaAlabama afterwards. Worth noting, none will give you total immunity from a T8 or T10 cv in the long run, Kii appears to be the most durable among others in cv games.

One can live with or without it. Nothing wow about it except its concealment.
