Well technically he is right. The booster dobloons were provided to CCs so probably he received them free as well. People who got frustrated with the event got even more frustrated. So, indirectly it is the player base who costed him his job at WG.

IMO, for those who like playing mid to high tier ships often, 1K is a bargain but only if the ship is in the first bundle and only for ships tier 7 and 8 because tier 7 camo is 2K, tier 8 camo is 3K dobloons.

It still has the best T8 BB AA with access to def AA by my experience, but of course there is not a single ship that is safe from carrier attacks. We could say, its AA gimmick is less useful than before. Besides the AA, it is still a good ship with good guns, speed, 10km torps and has very punishable broadsides.

Out of curiosity, why Devonshire, anything special about her or because of Devon? I checked the wiki but didn't find many heroic things about her, mostly she was an escort heavy cruiser and also evacuated the king of Norway and other officials. She had radar irl, too.

Since when asking someone whether they possess such and such ships or not is attacking?

The whole wowstats is wrong, got it... I find it waste of time reading or caring about such posts from players giving advice on or preaching about ships in which they have zero experience in them, no ty.

Because it seems like you don't have neither of the ships as below are the T10 ships u possess atm, and basing your comments on others' opinions without having first hand experience in those ships makes your comments irrelevant, not my question.

I hadn’t checked the reg date but yea in that case he did as you guessed. Look at his prem ships. So many of them bought recently and he had one or no games in them. I think he bought lots of mega crates to get the ships before Xmas event ends and bought thunderer with the coal he received in return. I can’t think of another explanation.

Did ever play a game in henri old, henri new or Stalingrad? Do you even have them?

Maybe they get their accounts restarted from zero by wg. In this case all stats become zero, they lose all ships, upgrades, pretty much everything except prem ships and prem stuff.

Most of us on these forums throw comments out here and there from time to time. When you read some of these comments, you realize that they are just thrown out there without a point. Some people give advice about ships they never played, some criticize DDs, some say torps should be removed, some other say CVs should be removed, some others say HE is too strong, another one complains why BBs dont have 15km secondaries, some just put an emoji, some just write to write, some open threads with no point, many open repeating threads, some do irrelevant comment on threads, and sometimes we see constructive ones, helpful ones, or warning ones. Shortly, it is like jungle and mods are trying their best to keep it clean. In a previous thread regarding upgrades, we raised our concerns about this specific upgrade. Now WG confirmed that they will monitor it. There is nothing untrustworthy here. If they didn't care about our previous comments, they could have very well ignored all, and not include this sentence here. Hence, i trust what they write.

@MyopicHedgehog Yes, i am very positive against them monitoring closely the impact of this upcoming upgrade. "So WG willl make the call." But who else would or could make the call? You? Me? Are we the developers or testers? No. They are the ones who will test the upgrade, not us. Hence, they will decide , if necessary, not us. Let's say they didn't monitor closely, or monitored but somehow, later on live servers, it became evident that this module upgrade change does not really work as intended, in other words, some dds really became obsolete. It is again, their responsibility and duty to fix such a condition, not yours or mine. But, at least they listen to their player base. This is, imo, a very important detail.

It really isn't protected against any T8, T9 BB shells, gets citadeled from every angle.

You can get plebbed while doing that. It is a very slow ship, and yes, while you can do 19K AP salvo to an Ibuki in return u can get citadeled by enemy BB from 18km because you don't have enough armor. So, tier 5 logic doesn't exactly work in tier 9 games.

The heal is better than normal cruisers but nowhere near Boise, Nuevo De Julio kind of heal.

There were no carriers in those five games, hence didn't have the chance the to try its AA.

It was on the first box. Ship is slow like a turtle, reload is slow, full turn is mediocre even with rudder upgrades, no armor other than the citadel plating. Pros, very low detect range, i think it was 9.3km. Damage output is good when it hits, plus puts good amount of fires. But when you consider the slow reload, dpm is low. It has 8km torps, situational. It can bounce shells from same or lower tier ships when angled, or takes small amount of damage, but when it's in a T9 game, higher tier BBs will just pen anywhere, bow, stern, broad, and citadel from all angles. It has considerably low firing range, 14km something need to check but don't feel like it :} , though it has a spotter plane. I played only five games in it which can't be a measure so far, cuz i need to figure out how to play it properly or better myself too. Would i take this ship over other T7 cruisers to play? Probably yes for some, no for some others.

I have the Surrey. Shoots like Buffalo for its tier, and welcomes damage from higher tier BBs like Neptune or Mino.

And hence WG provided booster refund to those who wanted their money back in the proper time frame, not ten days after the event is over, which was also discussed on this forum in many threads, not in reddit....
