GS is definitely not an op ship with uber slow reload, huge size for a cruiser, one of the slowest cruisers (if not the slowest) in the entire game, doesn't have great AA, guns are wonky and not very accurate, only two turrets. Having access to heal and torps do not justify these weaknesses. Any good BB player can punish a GS from a comfortable distance, i.e. W.Virginia. Or smoke cruisers can just burn him to death, or Ryujo can cita him, Ark Royal can keep torping him. I think the tendency to GS in this CB season is due to its heal but i wouldn't expect to see 6xGS in hurricane set ups with these disadvantages.

I don't see a nerf here. In above video he complains about the reticle changes and calls them bs but at the same time he diminishes half hp of Benson in one round and puts two fires plus causing 4.5K dmg in one salvo with 0.9.7 reticle. I think this change will only bother those who will have hard time adapting to the new reticle attack angle and who were used to hitting dds for 4-5K with each salvo from any angle. Him bringing up other ships in his video and writing they are not even "slightly" touched just shows what a griefer a player can be.

I fully understand what you mean and I also don’t like any ship rush/yolo-dying in first five minutes but it wouldn’t benefit the game itself giving them additional punishment. Besides, this would be another type of curing the syndrome rather than the disease itself. What is the disease? A group of players playing the game without having knowledge of the ship, mechanics, having no sense of strategy, and the current meta itself (broken cvs, he spam meta, keep releasing long range BBs.). If these are fixed, the amount of early dying ships would be none to negligible (human factor). Is it a fixable disease? Yes. Is it difficult? Very, because human factor but it is always better to cure the disease.

The point is, it shouldn't take so many ships to cripple CV planes especially when CV attacks to the most central ship of the group. Ships staying right next to each other all the time would cause more lemming trains or camping at spawn-like areas just to feel immune to CV attacks. Then, we come to the point, how fun is it to do camping or lemming train? Or another question, what if there is big skill gap between your CV player and enemy and if the gap is in favor of enemy CV player then what? He can pick the ship from the group that is furthest away and kill them one by one. Or his whole team can overrun the caps assuming the ship group won't enter the caps together because if they do (again just to feel immune to CV attacks), then they will get cross fired easily and sunk by surface ships.

Don't do it in coop, it can make you feel like you won't play again. The xp and silver rewards are very low. Instead, just play randoms as usual and you will finish them without realizing :) Filter from the dock which nation ships you need plus the line(s) you are grinding, that's all.

Just added another edit to my previous post. Like you said, it must be easier for a Russian cruisers or Henri to cita BBs, definitely not easy for DM.

I tried it in training room with Montana at 5, 4,3 and 2KMs. I was able to do only 2 citas, right between 2nd back turret and cmd center at 2kms. Couldn't citad it at 3,4 and 5kms. Maybe desync, will try again with other ships. EDIT 1: I added Kremlin, Conq, Yamato and Repub. Couldn't citadel them between 5-2kms. I shot at waterline mostly and in some cases, a little below water line, a little above water line and under turrets but didn't achieve anything. Maybe someone who remembers each BB's armor scheme can cita them. EDIT 2: This time i added also all T10 cruisers and BBs. I could citadel only Conq from around 3.5km, every shot 4 citas. On the other hand, couldn't citadel the other BBs again. I could cita all cruisers >10kms easily except Petra and Henri. But also citadeled them sub 10km, again Petra was the most tricky among them, probably because of low sitting in the water build.

I play dds daily and see between 2,3,4 dds on each team regularly. As a matter fact I haven’t come across without a dd game or with one dd game lately.

The wallet players as you describe have always existed but make no mistake. There are wallet warriors in every skill level including super unicums and unicums. What is your base for such an allegation? You say this because you chose to complete the steps in dry dock which is free? Most of us do, but again, what is the relevance here?

They were given two years ago? I still have around 250 of them. They are not bad for grinding/regrinding.

What’s up mate? First of all good game, nicely done. Second of all, don’t worry about the karma because it is meaningless. There is no difference between 0, 500 or 5000 karma. The only difference is if you get below 100 karma u can only report/compliment 9-10 times/day (Must be around that, can’t remember exactly), and if you have more than 100 you can report/compliment 11 times/day. Third of all, I remember wg staff saying one would not be chat banned if they didn’t write anything against rules in the chat but got reported for misbehavior in chat. I think that is because report logs are checked and if found nothing, no chat ban.
