I will tell you my opinion without getting into much stats and details (unless someone really wants to), short and clear...Kidd is a US dd with better hp and extra turret, meaning better in knife fight, has better AA and defensive AA consumable, heal consumable but lacking hydro. They have different play styles. You can contests and bully the cap with lo yang whether enemy dd has hydro or not, but can't do that with Kidd. Though, i like Kidd a lot and like Lo Yang, too. Yes, hydro is an extremely useful tool but i have more fun in Kidd, more dakka dakka, more resistant.

But my WR has always been increasing as my karma had been for four years and since last year i started having massive karma loss mostly during ranked battles because of chat. If i had constant , say 1000 karma, when i started playing the game and with 40%wr, and assume now that karma has dropped down hundreds but my wr kept increasing, then your theory could be somehow right. However, this is not the case.

I'm not so sure about the karma-mm relation. I know someone with 2K + karma playing in div random gets another unicum div on his team vs fisherman boat team. I, for instance lost several hundreds while still having quite some, get the to be in sightseeing teams very often. If karma was related to mm in anyway my teams in randoms were supposed to get better, but they don't. Instead, i feel each day the player quality gets worse.

You mean if more karma gives harder MM or vice versa?

Kiev has 8km torps. No one ever (ever) plays with 4km option in randoms except those who just purchased the ship perhaps. Besides these two dds are totally different like night and day, have nothing in common play style wise while on the other hand siliwangi and loyang are more comparable.

Only 2-3000? That's nothing :) It took me 10K to care about improvement. Ofc, it is snail speed after that many battles but better than never.

Yea well range-wise it is t5 dd level torps which is okay for a BB but not for a t8 dd.

You mean, except if there is Siliwangi, Lo Yang or other dds with better hydro or radar around. Played two games against Z35 in randoms in my hydro dds and in both cases Z35s that tried capping were rip. Z35 is also slower and has less hp than some same tier dds, it has T5 Acasta torps, and Harugumo concealment. Lots of cons there for rushing a cap. It just seems to suit more of a 8-10km range sitting in smoke and HE spamming dd.

Sure but without special flags that fxp wouldn’t be more than 10k or much less than the amount shown in ss. Hence, what is important is to have Asian lantern was it? that camo plus the special flags and if one doesn’t, well too bad for him. Do you recall how many of those special flags can be obtained thru cbs?

You need to do better than 20% wr or 9k total damage if you want your battle costs to be covered and to start making profit.

So, Kitakami is being tested in PTS atm. Saw one today. He/she literally sent torps from full behind and hit an ally Petrapavlovsk. He/she turned pink ofc. which confirms our concerns of more players will become pinkies once this ship is out Note: There is no naming/shaming as nicks are mostly different in PTS.
