  1. Guys I have been looking at the forums the entire time for the summer as my entertainment because my internet sucks. During the first WEEK of OBT there were the TORPS OP PLZZZ NERF Then NERF CARRIERS PLOX IMOPPOSIBLE TO DOGE TORPS Now it has cooled down a lot but there still remains problems with the game balance. Also I aknowledge that mm is messed up not because of war gaming but because of lack of cvs or what ever it seems to me that the game was balanced mostly just before they made armour work really well. So let the ideas flow through EDIT: just adding your ideas up here guys keep them coming and if you disagree explain and if it is a good argument I will remove the suggestion 1.Also give us decent rewards for shooting down planes...going fighter decks are kinda pointless for rewards. 2.they need to sort out "something" with carriers. 3.higher tier DDs need fixing. 4.buff a few underperforming ships a little (notably Furutaka/Colorado/Myogi ). 5.nerf a few ships a little (Omaha/?minekaze?/?other?). 6.do something about the Cleveland (not necessarily a buff or a nerf). 7.sorting out" carriers/Omaha/Cleveland should help higher tier DDs, but probably not enough 8.Map edge exploit. Needs to be fixed. At the moment it's a stupid gamey tactic that some players abuse. 9.They give 2 smokes that lasts 20 secs and loads up in 4 mins for DDs. I clearly dont find that funny at my minekaze... 20sec long smoke means you will have smoke for at most 2.4km in a DD that means you are dead if you have more than one enemy spotting you. 10.They made 40 sec long repair cooldown 60sec and they also increased HE damage caused by higher calibres and they increased accuracy for BBs under 5km and they increased critical damage chance on DDs. So your engine and rudder gets knocked out every 2 sec. 11.Something has to be done about the CV MM, too often you get massively unbalanced CV lineups in games, where one side has two carriers with a tier advantage over a single lone carrier on the other team. 12.Don't allow the MM to put a tier III BB against a tier VI BB, as sometimes happens now. What hope in hell does a Kawachi have of playing a good game in such a situation? 13.Decrease Kawachi's spread or something, it needs a buff. 14.They need to reward players for playing as a team, instead of solo rewards as it is now 15.Module damage needs sorting, currently too high with the spam from cruisers No, there is little balance. Low tier(1 trough 5). CV's and DD's rule the sea at low tier. Lack of AA and game experience of new players. Especially BB's struggle at this level. Mid tier(6 trough 8). Cruisers are king. CV's start to struggle with the massive AA jump on ships. Where all ships get better, DD's don't progress and even get worse in some cases. High tier(8 trough 10). Finally BB's get fun to play. I didn't reach the high tier yet and wonder if I ever will. Now lets take a look at ships by class and nation. Cruisers. I think the best balanced class and most fun to play on all tiers. USN with better rate of fire the easy to play CA's. IJN harder to master but in no way worse or better then their USN counterparts. BB's. I think they are pretty well balanced overall, they are just boring and frustrating to play. From tier 8 and up they start to become fun to play, but in my opinion not worth the insane grind. USN are just to slow. DD's. Up to tier 5 they are good. Not that the ships are so good, it is the enemy not yet knowing how to effectively counter them. Only thing I can say is a a small reload nerf on their torps. After tier 5 they start to get in trouble. First of all people know how to avoid torpedo's by now. Reload on torps almost doubles. Except for the torpedo damage they don't improve. IJN DD's. Because they can fire their torpedo's unseen, they are playable, but it is more spray and pray than actual tactical gameplay. Yes there are games where you have beautiful attacks, but that's rare. USN DD's. Just absolutely bad in every way. You read a lot that USN DD's are about the guns. Well, the guns SUCK!!!!!!! to low shell velocity and insane high arc. Torps could just as wall be removed. And ambush my arse, to many planes in the air to remain unseen. To ambush you need stealth and that's what they don't have. CV. Well, just read the forum a bit and you know in what state they are. One other big problem is the economy and grind. Because of all these issues you see this happen. People in BB's see the grind and frustrating boring gameplay, they quit the line around tier 5 or 6. DD Players give up once they reach tier 6. CA players face mostly other CA's after tier 6. CV's run into to much AA after tier 6. This means the game ends at tier 6 for most players.

I agree with the part where you say that you kinda suck if you get hit by Torps but the japs have a lot of squadrons which is balanced by the powerful fighters of usa but the plane advantages are not used by carrier captains because they get much more rewards for killing ships rather than shooting down planes. They should increase the rewards for shooting down planes for carriers and for ships.because this will encourage ships with good aa to screen ships who don't have good aa and for us. Carriers to protect their own fleet
