Welcome to BONE! We're a fun-focused English-speaking community in the EU TZ with multi-national members of medium to experienced level who always play to enjoy ourselves. Our goal is to form a steadily improving clan where players can learn and progress together, enjoy clan battles and all the other aspects that benefit from group play. We share our discord and community with the mighty Armed Potatoes. Of course, we have a better name. We aren’t elitists, we don’t take ourselves too seriously either. We are a group of average casual players that aim to get better and have a lot of fun in a great community along the way. We currently seek (mostly) competent players that meet or exceed the clan average in order to expand the clan roster and make a push for some success in Clan Battles! As of 16/02 we are playing in Storm League. Our requirements are as follows: • Minimum PR of 1200 • Minimum win rate of 52% • Conversational English • Discord (Compulsory) and working microphone • A sense of humor • A willingness to learn, improve and be a team player! Honestly think you would do a lot by improving main battery accuracy at base plus aiming systems Mod 0. Secondaries are fine, it's the main battery that is broken.

I do not, nor have I ever felt 'ripped off' in this game (or any other). That might be due to me being an adult and knowing it's my own choice whether I spend money or not, thus removing the option of someone 'ripping me off' unless I decide to allow it, in which case, I evidently wouldn't consider the purchase in that manner.

Pretty much feel like this about it, I grinded through to the last stage so it cost 15k, I like Alaska and still kinda like the PR too after a quick test of it.

Not the comparison I was trying to make. Call it scarcity syndrome whatever, it doesn't matter the format of competition, when you make something hard for people to do, a small % of people are further incentivised just to be the ones to do it. The concept of this is what I was referencing, not a like for like comparison of the two feats, which of course, should be obvious, but wouldn't allow such a pithy reply would it?

Got the Virtually Useless in a crate. Happy to have it in the historical aspect of my collection. Won't be playing it though, christ, it's horrid.

Damn I only just saw your thread I'm sorry I didn't record all stats for you now, I started too then got bored. I bought around 120-140 (Not sure if it was 6x20 crates or 7x20) Overall felt pretty happy with what I got seemed to be 3-5 ships per 20x crates though nothing majorly high tier bar the Lenin dropped for me.

Congrats to you, I play the game pretty much the way you do, if I want something enough, happy to buy it, it's players like you who keep the game free for the F2P whiners, enjoy the ship!

I have the Alaska, love it and it's a great credit grinder, the fact it's tougher than other T9 cruisers makes it a bit more forgiving IMO I have both that and the Azuma (the other T9 free xp BC) and the Alaska is a country mile better.

Once I have the 'main' captain for the silver ship grinded to 19 points I decide if I like a premium that I've been using as a trainer enough to build up a bespoke captain for it. Tirpitz was probably the first time I did that back in the day though it worked out as same captain works for the Bismarck once it was added.

Same reason some people climb mountains. Insanely hard challenges inspire some people to try and complete them. Then there's the fame, notoriety and the knowledge you are one of the few who did. Hats off to you, I wouldn't have done it, kudos to you though!

Very true, I personally wasn't going to put in 180hrs work for a ship that cost half a days wages, that's just shitty value.

As much as I didn't find the xmas event as toxic as most, an unintended side effect is the sheer volume of players yoloing to hit certain stats they need to grind.
