That's why we have a forum so I can share some of the tricks. Ofc it won't win you the battles and the MM is also crucial. If you get all enemy team T9-10 mostly AA ships then you can't expect much. But such harsh MM isn't all the time. Pre dropping helped me not get deplaned in the middle of battle but still do something plus spotting. The biggest impact CV has, is on the second end of the battle, so just be patient and not get too nervous if your can't do much at the beginning. The dmg numbers will go up after that. Well because Yama has tons of short-range AA. Tones of it. Atlanta doesn't have. Since you can't get manual AA on it (AFT still a must cause no range without it at all) there's a big lack in AA performance on Atlanta and Flint .

Yep and since puffs can be avoided the long range isn't a big of a threat. While flint has some good midrange, Atlanta... Eh. Yeah. That's why I think they need that +200% instead of 100%. People still need ifhe+AFT+CE. Can't get the manual AA on it without sacrificing one of these.

This ship is worth every penny. It's good and fun. Does the job very well. Great HE, concealment, amazing smoke, good hydro. With IFHE it can be really dangerous on lower tiers against any target. The only drawback is lack of techtree do you need to build a new commander. But if you reach the 19 points...oh boy

Flint and Atlanta were T7 no-fly zone. Now they are pathetic. Those are fully AA cruisers so they must be the bane of T6-8 CV.

I think you should predrop at the beginning of the game and go with 2 waves against the enemy instead of 3. The AA is strong on the first minutes, team will help with some HE spam. So you go with 2 waves but attack only once cause AA will destroy everything. You sir some dmg, lose 6 planes but still you saved the 3 planes. If you would go with full 3 waves and recall the planes from the attack you may lose them all. By predrop you have 100% that 3 planes were saved. You won't predrop after 8-10 minutes in the game. In that way you can get something on T10 MM. You don't need to do that on lower tiers ofc.

Well mate you list your chance . Same as Kronshtadt and Musashi you can't get them anymore. Unless in santa crates.

On holidays due to multum numbers of kids the level of the battles is low. Bad decision making , posting for fun in chat, "I don't care" etc. Too much throwing.

It depends on situation (points lead and being low hp etc. ) I saw many guys risk the win for the kraken. And sometimes I did lose a round because of them.

The def AA of it should be buffed. The Atlanta one too. Those are AA cruisers!

I had a situation that my torp destroyed permanently one BB turret. This means he had detonation flag, so he didn't detonate, just the turret. It's very rare imo.

The AP is a monster (unlike the British 120mm AP which is garbage) Since it has no torps it needs IFHE (though they're going to change it soon ) I think it'll be a good ship in divisions. With the Black every cap is yours. Unless you see a Mino.

Well I don't have Lexington but before I quit playing I got the Saipan in T10 game, 115k with not a big problem (though my team capped 3 caps and points ran out. I could do much more) It really depends on MM. If you get a team with 2 Rep , Iowa, Georgia and Massachusetts with Worcester/Mino DM and Seattle you won't do much. I had sometimes such unlucky MM. But if there's some Izumo, Yama, Tirpitz and cruisers Zao, Kronshtadt , Ibuki then you can do much more.

You can always have some impact on the game. I look on MM monitor + the team itself (of they're passive or not) and try to help those who will benefit from that and know what they're doing.

The CV topic is done and now will come back old ones like Conqueror, Harugumo etc.

As @ColonelPete said depends on situation. Though many people are selfish , so they prefer getting the kraken at all cost, not looking at the situation and risking their ship for that.

Sorry for offtop but it's 3 hours daily on work days and overall 5-7 hours on weekends. Back to topic - GZ needs another 4 points to be useful into the secondary thing.

I didn't buy any Halloween crates ever. I wait for the Santa ones, they're always better. Also didn't buy any black Friday crates.
