Everyone faced that at early stages. Although in your case you have a lot of premiums and very little battles and definitely no experience on T8 that faces T10. Just stick to your T6 premiums now to earn credits, don't touch the T8s until you get into your own T7/8 ships. Little advice from me.

Some people did it in 3-4 hours no joking. Just pick the right ships. Something like Cossack or Mogami is ultra bad pick. And yes, CV is dominating here, especially GZ.

@Sunleader I don't agree with that at all, it's a straight nerf to Kleber or Khaba that need this fire dmg. Wait for ifhe changes and you'll see Smolensks set way less fires (cause I think this is the case here)

5 sec fire duration on CV is absurd and should have been changed long time ago.

If any other DD from the T10s that are in testing will come for coal - I think it won't cross the barrier of 250k coal. I think it'll be 240-245k.

But that coal drop is really random. Even if you buy 200 crates that won't be a lot, maybe 80-100k coal from that. Ofc it'll boost up a lot.

Those shells when they hit, they hit hard. When you’re against T6 ships with IFHE those secondaries are making this ship a real monster. Yes the range is an issue so yeah good to have spotter plane. And 40 sec heal reload (with premium consumable) is really handy thing.

It’s performing well even in T10.

I’ll finish it with no issue since I had luck to get lots of dubloons in Santa crates, so I had 3 premium boosters from the start and I got enough tokens now to unlock the 3rd booster (so I have now 36 out of 36). I’m not playing currently just logging in to gather ship tokens, probably I’ll play few battles tomorrow.

You can’t buy Smolensk by dubloons though. It’s coal ship, you need to get it somehow playing the game. Unless someone plays low tiers only...

There was a ranked battle and only 2 ships left - 2 Gearings, one in every team. Both spotted each other and started to shoot. Our one began to shoot AP and did almost 0 dmg and almost died, then for no reason enemy one began to shoot AP and our one shot HE. Detonation on enemy Gearing. We won.

Thunderer has the concealment + the better rudder. Smolensk is stupidly easy ship to play.
