There's a difference between "guaranteed citadel" (which isn't significant dmg on big E) and "total obliteration" after you think it wasn't excellent drop and you get 30k hit devastating strike. Also had games on Kaga that for no reason I couldn't set a fire on ship even after 3rd drop and sometimes I got double fire, drop after drop. And this flooding... Once I got 24 torp hits and 5-6 flooding on big E, another game on it 16 torp hits and 11 flooding. If we are talking about hitting stuff - yes no doubt CV hitrate is significantly better than BB but about those RNG things - you never know.
