Indeed, the Warspite used to be able to repair citadel damage. This was a bug that was corrected, probably without a notice as is often the case. As of today it does not have any special abilities.
-
The Warspite cannot repair citadel damage! This bug was corrected some time ago. Please do not spread myths. The ship is certainly inferior to any of the two excellent regular tier 6 battleships. Its popularity can only be explained by the desire for RN and the citadel repair myth. The ship is very mediocre to put it mildly, except the nice looks. Not worth as a premium unless you are a ship collector.

I just want to point out to an inconsistency with the spotting mechanics in WoWs that affects all ships, but especially hard the Mogami that has good basic camo value. It is well-known that firing main battery increases the distance you will be spotted by the enemy ships, and that this penalty increases with the caliber of the main battery. Yet the penalty is tied to the hull not the main caliber actually mounted! For example, this means that if you equip the Mogami with the top hull C but leave the 155 mm guns, you would have the same penalty as if you had the 203 mm installed. I think this should be corrected.

You gave an answer to your own question. Currently only premium time is being offered. You have no offer since you have premium already. -
This information is scattered all over this thread: http://forum.worldofwarships.ru/index.php?/topic/50361-%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B7%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%82%D1%87%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B8-%D0%B4%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B0%D1%82%D0%BE%D1%87%D0%BD%D0%BE-%D0%BA%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%BC%D0%B8%D1%82%D1%8C-%D1%85%D0%B5%D0%B9%D1%82%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B2/ Look for Vallter_ answers, he talks about many things, answering whine complains by players, the actual information is scattered over the whole thread.

My favorite ship so far is Karlsruhe, closely followed by Svetlana and Ognevoi

Here is some information from developer Vallter_ thread on RU forum: 1). Thousands WoT players have been invited (lured with 10m fee experience 25m credits), but only about one hundred came; 2). If this promotions sees success (however success in this retarded promotion is to be defined), veteran WoWs players will get (similar?) gifts; 3). Non commercial aimbot is broken. Commercial is still being worked on. The developers cannot exclude a resurrection in the future, but each iteration of this arms race makes it more difficult to make a working aimbot. The main thrust is to block the third party software used by the aimbot; 4). Big update 0.5.5 is coming at the end of April (no details). My comments in ()

What do you expect of a guy who is deleting instead of adding something to the community.

The only positive side effect is that I finished grinding all tier 7s and made significant progress on all tier 8s. But it has been very monotone playing two tiers only.
-
Just read the requirements. The Capital extraction mission requires tier 7 or higher ships. Stages one and two (especially the second stage with a bazillion of damage) take very long to complete. They gave us essentially two month to do so. The higher the tier, the higher the average damage. The whole idea skews the match making, ruining the gaming experience as I was saying. All this for nothing.
-
We should really thank community managers for screwing the game experience for two months (still one month of hell). Tier 6 plainly unplayable. You will always get to tier 7-8. Even tier 5 is really bad, often gets to tier 7. Tiers 8 gets into 9-10 way too often. And all of this because of the dumbest Captain Extraction mission (esp stage 2), for toy ships half of the player base does not even want to behold, let alone play. Please think carefully next time before doing something like this. You have ruined game experience for most of us. I start to envy the Russian server that did not have a follow up to the first ARP.

By the way. I see no reason why we could not have started with sailing ships! Don't forget: It is a World of Warships. That world has started ages earlier.

I would not say a waste of time and money. Some additional thought, perhaps. 1). Mikasa sucks in the current meta of newer designs, and because it is a rare ship. If we had battles of Mikasas against Mikasas, everything would be balanced and fair, 2). It is true that secondaries were relatively more important on pre-dreadnoughts. But the main caliber is still there, just make it a bit more accurate. Having a higher percentage of fire power controlled by the AI might actually be good for new players. Recall, we are talking low tiers, 3). The complete absence of carriers for a larger number of initial tiers is a blessing. Again for new players, 4). The actual ships were varied, fascinating and beautiful. In general, more historical ships fewer paper designs. What is not to like? 5). Finally: WG don't be afraid of making this stupidly simple game a tad more complex.

I am well aware that a few ships in were in Jutland, the Warspite and the Karlsruhe (God forbid). I wanted to say that given the dating of the tech-tree the number of different types would always remain too low for a sensible historic Jutland.

With the current selection of ships the only historical battles would be between Japan and the US, as there were no major surface ship action between the Germans and the Russians. The Royal Navy - When He Cometh? Recreation of Jutland will always be impossible due to the tech tree starting after the Great War. See my reply to this thread http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/48214-do-you-want-more-pre-dreadnoughts/

In the current game design there is hardly any place for pre-dreadnoughts. I always thought that they should have started the game earlier, not in the 1920-30s but at the end of the nineteenth century. The WoT has to start in the 1920-30s because very few tank designs existed prior to this period, i.e. during the first world war, and some of them did not have a cannon, just machine guns for fighting infantry. With ships, we should have had battleships, cruisers and destroyers of the Tsushima Era, tech tree possibly going to high than 10 tiers (say till tier 15) from the onset. This would have an added bonus of carriers appearing starting from, say, tier 7/8 (out of 15), when the players have more experience and the ships have AA. Nice! But No. They are just slavishly copying their tech tree concepts over and over. Really, WG needs to innovate more to stay interesting. Pre-dreadnoughts are beautiful ships, as are armored cruisers.

This is bad move that is bound to alienate a lot of players. On the one hand we want new players. On the other hand we do not want more noobs in higher tier games. Besides the question of fairness raises eyebrows of many seasoned players. On the bright side, they also said they going to have gifts to seasoned WoW players later.

ok its 25mil not 30mil, but what difference does it make.
