  1. Richtiges Begleiten dürftest du wahrscheinlich nur in einer Division oder in späteren Teammatches/Clan Wars haben. Im Random muß man einfach sagen, daß du als CV Spieler an der Flotte kleben bleiben mußt, und du diese begleitest, statt andersrum. Dabei hilft vor allem der T3 Skill Situational Awareness, da du damit genau abschätzen kannst, wieweit du hinter der restlichen Flotte stehen kannst (bzw in der restlichen Flotte mit IJN CV). Damit hat man dann auch normalerweise genug Deckung gegen irgendwelche frechen DD oder CL/CA Spieler, die glauben sich heranschleichen zu können. Außerdem hilft diese Position einem IJN CV Spieler dabei mit den eigenen Jägern gegnerische Flieger rauszunehmen, da es immer einen CA Spieler in der Nähe gibt, der dann seinen Skill noch dazuwerfen kann, egal ob die einen Teamkameraden angreifen wollen, oder einen selber. Das schlimmste, was du als CV Spieler machen kannst, ist dich hinter einer Insel oder in einer Ecke zu verstecken ála Arty in WoT. Da bist du einfach nur ein leichtes Ziel, und selbst wenn du ein, zwei freundliche Schiffe in der Gegend hast, kann das sehr schnell sehr schief gehen.

Wenn du nur co-op spielen willst, wirst du nicht drumherum kommen, entweder ab und an mit einem Premiumschiff spielen zu müssen, oder ein T5 oder T6 Schiff zu haben, mit dem du die creds verdienen kannst. Alternativ bieten sich Träger an, die haben recht geringe Unterhaltskosten aktuell. (Flieger zu ersetzen kostet fast nichts)
  3. Das liegt am Co-op, daß du sogar mit Prem Account keinen Gewinn machst, weil es in dem Modus einfach viel weniger xp und creds gibt.

    Isn't it done when the enemy captures a zone and has then more "uncontested" zones? As in not Diamond but Square Icon.

    Jo, das "Automatische Nachfüllen" bedeutet, daß die Flaggen automatisch nach dem Gefecht wieder gehisst werden, wenn man genug im Vorrat hat. Ansonsten gibt es rechts unten eine Meldung, welche Flagge nicht gehisst werden konnte. Die Flaggen selber gibt es nur durch Achievements. Das mit den Creds ist wohl nur eine Fehlinformation.

    Hotspot is great because it forces BB players to not just stick to the map border. This alone is reason enough to keep it in game unchanged.

    With the big run for BB after the introduction of the USN BB behind us, you can expect way more CV again in the matches. So you'll have enemy CV in most of the games. With that in mind you have to decide if you go for air superiority, while doing less damage to enemy ships (in case of USN CV you can still do good damage with DB if you wait for enemy BB to use their repair ability and start a fire) or if you go full strike but have no fighters anymore. I see no reason to change it that you can switch the layout when you see the enemy team. You decide before the match, like other people have to decide which weapons to put on some ships (Mogami being an example) and then you have to live with that decision.

    Ich bin da für die einfache Lösung bezüglich Chat: Kurz drauf hinweisen, daß das unangebracht ist. Wenn derjenige immer noch weitermacht, Screenshots machen, bzw das Replay an WG, und drauf hoffen, daß das ausreicht, damit die entsprechende Person gebannt wird. -> Problem gelöst. Dürfte sich dann recht schnell rumsprechen, daß bei sowas nicht lange gefackelt wird und direkt gebannt wird...

    This would again lead to all BB sticking to the border of the map. At least on this map they're forced to go CQC, work for the win and not just get carried by DD and CV.

    Sorry, but 8 torps hits from TB vs a BB is an almost dead BB... I play CV, I should know it... Most people don't play CV anymore, because you need a basic minimum of intelligence and tactical thinking for them right now. CVs are discussed in other threads enough right now though...

    Your secondaries have a 14% hitrate. That seems okay with all those fast firing guns...

    Sometimes I wonder how some people play their CV... Do they fly with all their planes straight at the enemy fighters and just hope to get through with sheer numbers? Even better was that Zuihou hiding in the bottom left corner of the Ice map... Totally wrong position for an IJN CV... Why do some CV players think they're the only ones on the playing field? There are a lot of BB and CA on you side with fine AA. What is annoying on the enemy side is really helpful on the friendly side. Add your own fighters to the mix and you come out of that with almost no losses (at same Tier fights) As for DB: I mostly use them against BB, and even if the IJN only have 4 planes per Squad I rarely lose some of them. Don't attack the enemy from the sides, but the front... I lose more TB over a match than DB, since you have to attack from the sides with those. I can only remember 4 matches, were I lost all planes before there were only 2 minutes left on the clock... The only real problem games I had till now were either vs an Essex due to pure Tier difference, or against 2 Ranger. IJN CV are more or less fine imho, though Houshou could need some love. Get Situational Awareness as skill and stay near your BB and your IJN CV will have a big influence on the match, regardless of the enemy CV.

    Since we're generalizing: All BB players are chickens and only want to hug the border of the map. Seriously, Domination is a great gamemode.
  23. Sit Awareness is fine for the IJN CV, since you will be at the front all the time anyway, and want to know when you have to back a little bit off.

    So, the MM has the following in queue: 4 CV, 100BB, 10CA, 4DD... Now, what do you think you get with that when you want to create 5 matches with that?

    You can see farther, so you don't only see enemies as empty hull on the minimap if they're spotted by friendlies, but you can see them. That is if they're in your new larger viewing range. (If I understood that upgrade correctly)
