There is your problem. You only want to dodge when the torps are already in the water. You have to start evading when you see the planes on the horizon. They get spotted at 8km from the nearest enemy. -
You don't get it, or? First: Cleveland players themselv think it's OP for it's level. (WG btw too, they already announced that it will be moved) Second: The OP here is the ONLY CV player who thinks the Cleveland is OP because of it's AA, so don't put him together with the rest of the CV players. Third: Only the very good CV players or those who jumped on the train directly after the wipe have those good stats. Those starting now, when the MM has enough players to choose from, don't get those stats by MILES. Fourth: Since you want stats, my Kongou WR (77%) is even better than my Zuihou WR (75%) on same Tier. Happy?

Just for you the list again: 1) CVs live on average longer than other classes. 2) This leads to them being able to do longer damage. 3) And both this combined leads to more average xp PER MATCH, but same average xp PER TIME INVESTED. You can do 2 CV matches in the time you can do 3 or 4 matches with other classes. -
Sure why not, if it highlights you for 20secs on the whole map for the enemy team.

Angle has no effect on the damage. Getting hit midships into the Torpedobuldge does. -

Which just proves your argument is BS, pure and simple, since you play the last hull the longest. -
Servicing cost. You even have repaircosts if you don't take any damage. Take a look at other ships when you don't get damaged.

Yeah, that bad AA on T4 and T5 ships is right... Must be the reason I have records like 10 planes (more than 1/3rd of a CV at that Tier) downed with Myougi or 19 with Kongou. -

First: You can dodge incoming torps from TBs. It's about minimizing damage, not evading it completly... Second: They already tried the longer approach, and it seems like it didn't worked, or ddidn't chang anything, because WG undid it. -
You need to get used to it if you want to play T6+ IJN DD.

This is wrong. We now have the correct numbers, and the 7km torps get spotted at 1.6km with 9sec reaction time, while the 10km torps get spotted at 1.3km with 8.8sec reaction time.

If you would have read my post above you would see that the target has less time to evade with the 10km torps.

Ah come, Ishiro32, you know that AA is balanced towards planes on the same Tier. Of course you down everything from a Zuihou. She's a Tier below you. I also down everything from a Langley or Houshou with Kongou. (Yet they still send the planes always too me)

No, the shooting is just random animation. -
Cant do damage to a Phoenix at medium range.

All ships have a save distance between plunging and direct fire, where the shells more or less always have an angle where they bounce and do no damage. Maybe that's just the case here? -

The DPS is listed directly ingame when you open the AA tab on the right in the port (works also, when you select a ship in the techtree) More effectiveness just ups the AA DPS by that percentage. You have to remember though, that those DPS values are on average. Planes in the AA Aura of a ship get damaged like this the while time they stay in it, and if enough damage to a squad is done it loses one plane. T3/T4 BB are useless, my Kongou WR is the same as my CV WR. Most CA matches were done with Atago, and due to the screwed up High Tier MM you can't take that WR serious. Should I continue?

Okay, again the list, because people just don't seem to get it: 1) WG wants CVs as main Damage Dealer 2) CVs stay on average longer alive, so they get more xp PER MATCH, but the same PER TIME. In the Time you can play two matches with CVs, you can play 3 or even 4 with other classes (ON AVERAGE). Same true for creds. 3) The High Tier Problems have all the Matchmaking as Basis. There are just not enough CV players to make the MM working. And regarding Panoceks idiotic "Rock is OP, paper is balanced - said scissors": BB>CL/CA>DD>BB, CV > Rest, Rest > CV (with counters like AA etc, not necessarily sinking)
