That works maybe against CV players who forget that they have a ship. But against the better CV players you will have a hard time sinking them in a DD. A lone DD hunting a good CV player will be sunk pretty fast... -
You should always have a mid tier creds maker in your port, or prem ships...

Sure bonus creds would be fine too, especially in the WoWs economy, where creds are more a problem than xp. -

You get the same xp as for sinking a ship from 100% as you get for downing 40 planes. If WG gives too much for planes then cruisers would get the glorious big munch of plane xp plus the xp for the damage they can do. WG should lower the xp for damage done by cruisers and up it for planes downed... (to keep the xp gain balanced) Or in general give the classes more xp for killing stuff they are meant to do and less for other stuff. -

You only see the red triangle when they're armed. They are already for some seconds in the water before that and you can see them if you keep watch. -

Regarding infos from WG: I hope everyone remembers what happened in the CBT with the IJN CV. WG changed stuff from patch to patch about them and most felt like a nerf, because no one knew what WG had planned with them. A short list at the start (which they already had, and later posted on the RU forums) about what they had planned for balancing in which patch would have lowered the heat on the forums a lot, and we wouldn't have seen all those CV threads every week... What's so bad about giving some general info? There is still space enough to change the implementation, but some info about what is just planned would get rid of a lot of unneeded discussion. -

If I remember the CBT Thread correctly about the encryption back then with the aimbot desaster they said something like this. All files encrypted, and modders can ask to get their mods allowed, so that WG has more influence about the modding, to allow harmless mods and block harmful ones. -

I wouldn't have a problem with the "historical" fail rate if you accept the other "historical" fact, that IJN torps couldn't be spotted. -
Es gibt Spotting xp in WoT weil nicht jeder Panzer jeden anderen beschädigen/vernichten kann, sprich damit auch Leichte Panzer xp bekommen können. Das ist hier anders. Kurz und Knapp: Du kannst in jedem Gefecht xp durch eigenen Schaden bekommen, unabhängig von den Gegner Klassen oder Stufen.

Nein. Es geht darum, daß Prem Schiffe Ausrüstung/Stats etc bekommen, die nicht Standard im normalen Techtree sind. Torpedowerfer auf einem BB passen da also genau rein.

I always use the high range to weaken my target while I approach to ca 10km. As for torpedos: No need to be afraid of those. There should be CL/CA around you who's main job is killing DD and keep planes away.

Yai, 250km maps so that CVs can attack from their real range while the rest is doing escort duty for them And also yai for invisible IJN torps, which can't be seen until they hit the enemy. In that case I wouldn't have a problem with a 50% dud rate. Also please real acceleration rates. We want to see those BBs reaching full speed after 20mins. More? ^^ Also, if you have problems with TBs in a Myougi (3rd hull) you maybe shouldn't play BBs...

XP are also influenced by the Tier of your target. If it's above you you get more, if it's below you you get less.
