    Dead CVs and their planes

    Taking control of your ally planes is pretty much impossible to implement, considering that other one can have Japanese, the other US carrier, and they can be different tiers. Also, from programmers point of view, they are tied to specific carrier. Having done some programming myself, I can image how impossible task that would be(to change everything in the way they are controlled by program).

    Battleships get too little points/xp

    Skybuckflying... your reasoning and logic. It's just completely wrong. The most effective range for BB is 10-12km when facing Japanese Cruisers, 5-10km when facing American cruiser(ones without torpedos), and around 12-15km when facing another battleship. You can go as close as 8km to destroyers, assuming you are NOT facing them head on, you need to be at least partially sideways when closing the distance, changing speed unpredectable way and turn away every once in a while. Most importantly, dont sail straight line and speed for longer than 5 seconds. Once DD is spotted, you need to be heading away from it. If you have cruiser with you, let him deal with DD, or even ask him to help with it, because it is high risk for you. Long range battleships are completely useless and no one is afraid of them because dispersion is so horrible they can not hit anything. It is easiest thing in the world, to burn Battleship in long range with cruiser.

    Konisberg problems

    This happens with almost every ship, because everyone can hit your citadels easily with AP rounds. This is why for example BB is most lethal from 10-12km range, it has good enough accuracy from that range. My advice to you is, don't go that close with your Cruiser, unless you are trying to sink Destroyer.

    Yeah, you are right, I admit that Lexington is quite powerless against Midway. I managed very little bombing damage, I shot 43 planes from him, but he still had upper hand, because he managed 2 kills: Lexington should not be against Midway, The difference is just too big. It's 100% defensive struggle for Lexington.

  8. I dont like tier 9-10, because it's only battleships and that ice map, or ocean... I think it's mostly bad maps that keep me away from T9-10...

    You lose control when you die. If you set orders for planes(before your death), they carry on orders, even if CV died. After a while, they disappear

  12. Sometimes you just simply run out of time, don't you? The time when you feel like RoF is not fast enough? Look familiar? Happening to you as well? What happened, is our team died so fast that we lost by going to zero points, and even 3 kills wasn't enough to keep it in positive side. Would of been interesting to try solo the rest 9 guys, but... the game ended when our team had 0 points.
  13. Well, I am keeping most ships, not selling them. That way it works. If I sometimes I actually sell the ship, then I will put it to next ship, select train with credits, put it to premium and train it 100% in premium ship, before actually playing the new ship. Unless it's Japanese.... because I don't have Japanese premium, then I just retrain it in new ship. 80% of the time, I keep all ships, so buying new one is good option. I find most fun in tiers 5-7, so it doesn't make sense to sell them EDIT: At the moment I am training 2 captains(to AFT skill) for the Soviet DD's. Will keep all captains from tier 5 up and train them all in Murmansk. Everytime I get new ship, I buy captain with 3 skills, select train with credits and throw them to Murmanks, until they are 100% AND AFT SKILL and THEN start playing new DD. For now I will have 2 captains already with AFT skill, so I will just retrain them, until I reach tier 5, from where I keep them all
  14. One good way to deal with it, is to train those 3 skills, then throw it into premium, and put the ship on hold for a while, use week running premium, until it has lots of skills. In this game it looks like you need to run premiums all than time to make money, so could as well use it for training.
  15. or do like I do, just buy 3 skill captain for every ship. That is cheap. I've noticed that moving them from ship to another, like in Wot, isn't worth it, when you can get a new 100% captain with 3 skills just only 25gold

    Interesting ship this one. I now met my first Konigsberg, shot it once with HE and it died with that one salvo from my Murmansk... I am not convinced about this paper cruiser

    Russian Destroyers

    The Idea is that you maximize your stealth and you shoot from the small area in range, where you remain invisible even while shooting. It is possible to do with Russian destroyers, because of their good range and good gun arc. But the area is rather small, so it requires skill to remain in correct range.

    making BB more inaccurate would be a good start. That would force them closer, but in order to make THAT work, it would also require removal of long range torpedoes. Basicly the gamestyles of tiers 5-7 works great and implementing that same gameplay to tier 9-10 would make it much more appealing

    2-3 seconds can make a massive difference in tier 8-10(For example Lexington AA rating is 91), and the reason why I have problem with fighters, is because I always run bomber decks, while almost everyone else runs fighter decks. Of course most of the time I hug the borderlines with planes, in the beginning specially, but if you do that all than time, through the game, it's just too slow method to be effective. Eventually, when some of the enemy ships are dead, you can go through from the center and it is more effective to do so. You are not going to hug border with every single bombrun. Most bombruns are made from the center, or close to center, instead of edges, simply because it is fastest way to do it.

    It's just failed situational awareness. Like we have a saying in Martial Arts... keep your end clean. You don't have to keep an eye the enemy cap so much, but you must keep an eye your OWN cap.

    I know how it works to fly outside the map, but you don't always have that option. Specially in the times when you are already spotted and enemy fighters are chasing you and you have limited time to maneuver. That is when those extra maneuvers can easily cost all your planes. This is problem is magnified in high tiers, when ships have very strong AA, not so much of a problem in lower tiers.

    Like this video indicates in 9 minutes, you have to fly PAST enemy, to be able to drop torpedoes properly and close. This does make it difficult, because it forced you to fly further and do those "extra tricks", in order to do normal drop. Also, you need to predict the position of the ship much earlier than normally.

    Allufewig understood the point perfectly. Atlanta is underperforming in general, and I only used your stats to point out that it is also true in your case, no matter how much fun you're having. The reason Atlantas poor performance pisses me off is not because it effects stats, but because it makes poor credits, because I used real money to get ship to grind credits and it turned out be a total crap, which forced me to buy another premium instead... So because this junk pisspoor ship, I lost real money. To me it seems that you are more butthurt and concerned about those stats...
