Please remove "The Ocean" map from ranked battles. It is really stupid map and it comes all than time
-
Starting at tier 13. Will use New Mexico+Fuso, then Blyskawica later. 55 battles last season. This season I will try to play more EDIT: Using Fuso just enough to make review of it. I really hate gun spread in it, and NM is so much better.

Exactly this. You mostly use them on Enemy Destroyers(or other fast ships that get to you), so hitting them is the hard part, not the damage.
-
Exactly. The ruddershifttime and turning circle in Nikolai are the best in tier 4-5 range, so all you need, is to stay alert and do your maneuvering in time. Getting torped from air is the most common reason for me to die, but usually it is in the middle of battle and I did just not pay enough attention. in the screenshot I was torped by planes and Fujin at the same time, which is why I died.

Nikolai doesn't need a boost. Sometimes it's just no matter what you do, you will lose games if your allies are not getting stuff done...

Colorado. I'm stuck... Your advice would be much appreciated
Kenliero replied to Ferry_25's topic in General Discussion
One of the key aspect in playing Colorado, is that you need to be patient and find an angle/route where you engage maximum of 2 enemies. Do not try to go tanking 3-4 enemies. With slow USN ships, you should use islands as cover, as you approach the enemy and try to find position where you don't have to fight the whole enemy team at once. If you have too many enemies in front of you, your Colorado can push ahead, but it can not turn and go back, because the turning itself takes too long time and you will get killed WHILE turning, where 3-4 enemies are pummeling you. so be smart about choosing the approach angle and use the islands to "block" some of the enemies. one-on-one situation Colorado is very strong ship. -
How about AP to Phoenix? Oh yes!!! I lolled in this video

In my opinion the difference between New York and Wyoming is not really that big, how ever, New Mexico after that, is a great ship, one of my favorite Battleships. Managed 57% winrate with it. I think it is worth getting through Wyoming and New York, and even Colorado is rather good ship, even though there are many stories about how bad it is, but after buffs, it's actually quite good, fully upgraded. in ranked I ran 67% winrate with Colorado with 59k average damage. I haven't bought North Carolina yet, but I have grinded it already. I was grinding Colorado in ranked, which was good idea.(I think it's tiers 5-6 this time though) If you do not like the slow speed of USN ships, you could consider Japanese tree. They are much faster. Their deck is also hard to hit from long range because the ships are very narrow... unlike USN, which has large and wide deck. and in tier 10 Yamato is the best Battleship in the game. I am focusing more on Japanese tree myself. I have Nagato there.

Clan is an old name used for communities and groups. It would be interesting if they were called "Navies" here for example, but I don't think it's that easy and simple
-
He actually said he will see about it, as in trying to do something to make it work, so don't blow your chimneys
-
Nooberg, your logic is complete fail. If (according to you)the game is about damage and credits, then your "campertactics" are wrong, because your damage and credits are pathetic.

I am using 70 Knots. Little damagedifference don't matter that much. It's important that they hit the enemy. Torpedosalvodamage in Kiev is massive in stock torpedoes already, so you just worry about hitting the enemy, not the damage.

I eat DD's for breakfast in my Battleships.... but!!!... I also play a lot of DD's, so I guess I eat myself for breakfast...

It's funny how your errors are "unluck" and your own shots are "pure skill" ;)

This always happens. Nowadays I just always head to center of the map, so that I can help everyone, everywhere.... at the same time...

Tiers 4-7 are my cup of tea. Nikolai/Blyskawica,Kiev & Fujin... all those fun ships and moneymakers are there
-
if it is in internet, it must be true, right?

Someone is actually using AP on you. It has always worked on Murmansk with DD. You have gotten too used to HE spammers

Here I have comprehensive comparison between Kiev, Blyskawica, Sims and also Mahan(and Hatsuharu). The stats favor Blyskawica quite heavily in comparison to Mahan. Looking at the video and the stats introduced there, yes Mahan has better DPM, but Blyskawica sets fires much much faster. Mahan definately does not have better guns.
