One thing that people don't think, is that since every ship has their "personal fighter". Spotting with fighters is not possible anymore. You can not send your bombers to Tirpitz and leave fighters to spot DD. You must have your bombers escorted 100% of the time simply to counter these "personal fighters', leaving no DD spotters. Not only that, but the "bug" that you can not attack that personal fighter until the liftoff sequence is finished, is really annoying, because now, if you time the liftoff of your personal fighter, you can counter torpedoattack 100% of the time, and there is nothing carrierplayer can do about it, because he can not attack this personal fighter, until it is too late and your torpedoattack is already screwed, because of the large attack cone, caused by this personal fighter...

Yes, but already in tier 8 Lexi has 17,5km detectionrange, which gets you killed easily when battleships easily shoot past 20km

Actually that sounds like an excellent idea... having 30 ranks. Starting in the middle, then, instead of having skill groups, it could just find players as close to your rank as possible, by increasing search range.. if none are found, it would widen search more and more. This would dramatically decrease queu times and still more or less find players to match your skill range.

Having Ocean 50% of the time forces BB to play long range. In wide open map you can not go to short or medium range, because there are 7 ships shooting at you. In normal maps you can position yourself in a way that you take fire only from 1-3 ships, because the rest of their team is behind an island, but in Ocean you always have entire enemy team shooting at you. It would be totally stupid to go short range and immediately get yourself killed. It's not "tanking" it's suicide.

I started rank 13, dropped immediately to 14 and then skyrocketed to 10. Got almost 9 until I had like 6 losses in a row and back to 10 with zeri stars... After that I took break. Thinking about playing more in the weekend. It looks like skill levels change dramatically. I personally think it would be better if there would be 30 ranks(6 different groups) and everyone would start rank 15 without any irrevocable ranks. This way people would spread evenly among all 30 ranks. Some would sink ranks and some raise ranks, but at least people would spread properly with their skillset and get to play against players with similar skill level. Also season could last much longer this way and instead of(being race and)playing random against "randoms", you would have chance to play against players with similar skill level. This would be good for good players, because it would "make more sense" having tactics that make sense, but it would also be better for "bad" players, because it would be easier opponents for them, instead of getting slaughtered always... It would be win-win situation. What do you guys think about this ?

I can imagine that it should be really easy to make a hard limit, so that the tier difference between ships in division cannot be more than 2 tiers.

I am sure it was worth it... When you're old guy. you will always remember the good times, when you were trolling on forums and you didn't care... must be some really cool memory...

JDredbull, I'll do you a "friendly favor".... and recommend you to get Atlanta, it is really really amazing ship... you cab get like crazy amounts of money with it. totally overpowered. It is so worth it. What ever you do, do not buy Murmansk, it is absolutely horrible one. You will cry yourself a river with that one, and not just any river, but the damn Nile. So get Atlanta and remember, it is a brawling ship with machine guns and one of the best armor in the game.

"2 year advantage"?... I started playing this game in this summer 2015...

JDredBull, you are absolutely right. Those BB's are completely useless crap... holy mom... We need to buff them!!! it is simply impossible to get any kind of decent results with those things... Ok now, what ideas do you have for buffing these? Shall we start from my Nikolai? Throw me a list of massive improvements, so that it makes sense to play them again?

You can make Colorado work, if you don't go too far from action... here is my Colorado results from last seasons ranked battles, where there is a lot of brawling:

oh man, that's just bad... We need more people for this game, so that we can have much more ranks, which in theory should increase quality of gaming...

Finally got that Advanced Firing Training and now having fun with Blyskawica

It is pretty much the speed... it's like having a Cruiser with BB armor and guns. The speed difference is really quite big and I like it

Oh, you forgot that battleship, who was brawling against 2-3 enemies and then retreats to heal behind an island, before heading back again ;)
