Lol yeah... we received a lot of credits recently... I also bought Amagi... had I known about this...
-
and now that we talk about missions... where did the challenges disappear? Did we get them like once, ever?
-
I could pay 10, maybe 15 euros... That ship is just not worth more, and this from a guy who paid 60 euros from Torpitz...
-
Getting shot from 19km is 100% YOUR fault. Too much max speed and too little ruddershift...
-
3 tier 7?... really? That comparison makes as much sense as saying "try to do it with 10 Yamatos shooting at you". You are not suppose to survive any of that...
-
I haven't tried big ships yet, but Blyska sounded like potatogun...

Arpeggio of Blue Steel (Ars Nova) Mode 0.5.2
Kenliero replied to Rytlock_Brimstone's topic in General Discussion
I recall that such thing was optional to turn on in aslain mod -
You try to shoot from invis normally, but in DD hunting, it won't break that easy, and you can always pop smoke. Smokes are good to save for close encounters. Premium repair is useful though. You make good credits with this, 22500 is nothing.

1: Situation awareness+basic firing training 2: Expert Marksman 3: Superintendent 4: Demolition Expert 5: Concealment Expert I don't have 5th skill just yet and in level 4 for now I have Advanced Firing Training, but this is the setup I am planning to redistribute, later. This setup gives invisrange between 10.3-12km or so, which is large enough gap for me. From that range you can hit very accurately. Some people would prefer Advanced Firing Training, to get max range to 14km like I have now, but I prefer 3% extra fire chance. It makes a big difference, when setting fires. Basicly... with AFT it is "easymode", but I prefer faster firedamage. But it is very important to get concealment expert, just to get 1km closer invis and be more accurate. I don't know how they are going to change captain skills in the coming patches, but this was my plan while ago...

This actually confirms what I thought. Those 4 ships are the most challenging ones, as in... it requires certain skill level to perform, in order to get good results. They are very bad in the hands of bad player, but at the same, if you are good player, you can get great results in those ship. They are not "beginner ships" so to speak. All those 4 can be totally op when handled by a good player.

It's funny how every one thinks "how useful" the ship is. Having played some 250k xp with it, it's the most fun DD in game, and in my opinion best tier 7 ship of all of them(I have 7 tier 7's, including Kiev)

Having used New York, Kongo, Fuso and New Mexico in lower tiers and Nagato and Blyska in high tiers, I would use NM in low tiers next time, but Nagato is not good enough for high tiers. With Blyska I went to rank 8, but didn't have time to play more... I managed to grind Amagi, but didn't have credits to buy it in time. Next season I should have more competitive BB for ranked, and hopefully more time.

Also, this time of the year gnomes have a nasty habbit of building clock-tinkering devices, which alter virtual reality, making objects appear to disappear for no reason at all. Do not be alarmed, everything will get back to normal after holidays. Oh, I also heard that wearing a red hat should help for the time being...

You also propably want to do a youtube search, using keywords "aerroon carrier guide", unless someone is kind enough to post link here. It would be helpful

Stats clearly shows that it requires more skill to play Blyska. Though I admit I have 63% winrate in Murmansk and only 58% in Blyska. That said with good captain Blyska in amazing ship. You can shoot invisible from 10.3km, which is close enough to land a lot of shots. My main battery hit ratio is 4% better in Blyska.

Err what? Blyska is my best premium ship. It's better than Murmansk and I prefer it over Kiev, which says a lot...

I don't think you quite understood my point there. Of course the idea in the MATCH is to win, but when you go "tanking", the point THERE is to survive the tanking. Anyone can just rush in and die, but it requires skill to pull fire on yourself AND survive, so that you are useful later as well. Being useful after the situation IS the thing that wins the matches. That is the thing that separates winners from losers. To do effective damage, pull fire on yourself and NOT lose your ship while doing it. There was 2 matches where I used secondary module, but of course I have played a lot of Nagato, all the way to Amagi, in randoms and rankeds. This is the normal playstyle for me. I see that you play a lot for your team, most of your games being division games. But what about when your team is not backing you up? I noticed that your winrate in solo is only 48%... SURVIVING the brawling allows you to do both... Taking the damage AND turning the tables for your team, including capping which I did in the video. By rushing in and dying you put a lot of pressure on your team, counting them to deliver. You are most useful when you do both, tank and survive. I agree that one needs to be closer than 4km if you want them to be effective, because accuracy is just horrible. Most of the times going there is not smart though, if enemy has torpedoes, or if there are a lot of enemies and you would only end up getting yourself killed. Turning away from the enemy and angling like that is VERY effective strategy and you should be using it always against destroyers and never rush them head on. I am sure you know that, after so many games in BB. That said, I understand your point there. Being afraid and hanging back is the worst thing you can do with battleships, in that we agree. What I'm saying is that you need to be brave in going in, but you also need to do all you can to survive there. I understand that a lot of people are actually afraid to go close, and it is problem in the game... For me, it is just concept that I can't understand. I am thaiboxer and Mixed Martial Arts fighter in real life, and going in, in a simulator... I can not understand how it could make a person afraid, but I see that happen... so I guess it's a thing, and people need encouragement to put yourself in the game, in a "hard way". I don't think there is a point in starting argue about this really, because we actually agree in the principle. For me it is just more important to survive the brawling, because I don't have good division players to back me up/ save me every time.

Here is my take on the secondary batteries... Some serious brawling and Testing.... and then the final verdict
