It does NOT require visual on the enemy. Yamato didn't need to see the enemy. Due earth being a ball and ability to shoot past horizon, they only needed spotterplane to send coordinates, to shoot target. The same thing with destroyer. If someone spots coordinates for you. You SHOULD be able to shoot there. Destroyers can not spot from smoke, but nothing prevents them from shooting to enemy location, if enemy is spotted by allies. -
Usage of "Premium Consumables" - do you guys use it on all your ships/tiers or use it selectively?

I use premium repair in every ship, but others depend on what ship I am playing. Maximum of 2 premium consumables. For team battles, all premium. -
I think the most likely thing is that you are mixed between 2 different playstyles. In T10 matches you have to hang at back, but you shouldn't be doing that in T8 battles... Now if you play long times, you might get stuck in a "mode" and play the same style all than time, when you should change styles to different tiers. For example Tirpitz should be used as close range ship against Tier 6-8(Amagi and NC are always in advantage from ranges past 12km), while you are forced to hang at back a lot against Yamatos. using AS in Carrier definitely will hinder you. I did that mistake in lower tiers and it severely dropped my carrier stats and results. Lo Yang/Benson is great in divisions, if you rotate smokes and use TS. I do that often in T7-8.

wow... I actually had FOUR premium consumables in Atago, which explains where the money went

Today I started suspecting that I am not getting enough credits from my games. First I suspected it was only with Atago, where I noticed that I was missing like 100k per game... then I wrote up my total credits. Took Tirpitz and went into the game. I had pretty average game and got 128192 credits TOTAL after all costs had been removed. WITH Premium account which I have 40 more days. When I checked how much I ACTUALLY got to my total. I realised I was missing 67500 credits.... Where are they? So there is some kind of error in the income. I am getting only around 50% of my income and it has been like this the whole day. perhaps this should be put to other area in the forum, but I am also interested if anyone else has been experiencing the same problem?

Actually yeah... it must be that... since it is removing them afterwards and it is not shown in the results. I normally run max 2 consumables, but recently I played Atago and Tirpitz and looks like they had 3 in their setups.... I have to take that down to 2 consumables.... fighter planes are not THAT important

I don't understand any of these talks about Mutsuki being weak. It is great DD and the 10km range is perfect in maps like 2 brothers, where you have difficulties reaching the enemy with shorter range torpedoes. If you think where you torp, it gets great results and carry wins.

I tested this in Public test 0.5.3 with Montana and I still prefer range for BB. It just seemed more effective when the AA starts shooting sooner. There are so many fleets incoming in high tiers, that I see it better to shoot them all from far away rather than select one.... you can not drop all Midway planes one by one... This might be different in lower tiers how ever. -

I like to favor range, because it is not only about DPS on top of you. Sometimes it is about "reaching the planes"... They rarely fly directly above you. Most of the time they pass you somehow and while targetting big battleships. instead of you. Getting 1-2km extra range might be just enough to drop them when they pass you from like 3-5km -

keep in mind that in the video I was trying to save our cap, thus using most HE which lowers the damage. Normally I use much more AP. But yeah, it is not German -

I saw Viceadmiral123 today in ocean map. he was with his Benson, while I was in the same team with the usual Atlanta.... I think he got frustrated right in the beginning when I told him that I am training new captain and have 11.1km range in Ocean map -

Those 12 were random battles, and so far my only division games with mtm78. First games were just me and mtm78, but later EsaTuunanen joined us, and we won them all. PS. I know you were joking, of course ;) -

Yep, this happens all than time if you play early in the day. It is ideal to play Amagi only in the evenings to get T8 macthes, or otherwise you are always with tier tens... and you don't even have range to fight against Yamatos... and going close is suicide.. -

it is a bug in the display. It will always show how many consumables you would have, IF YOU WOULD SELECT IT ONE MORE TIME, even if you had selected it already. Obviously you can not take superintendent twice... even when it shows what you would get by taking it. -
Been here for a month and I've enjoyed the clan. Not uptight, but still very organized and at the same time relaxed atmosphere. Very good balance of good play and still tactical. Good opportunity for divisions and team battles. Thanks guys and highly recommend joining us
