My argument is that SA is a must, and you are handicapped without it. Your argument about "learning to play without it", is full of crap. "You can not learn something you can't know". No matter how much you practice, you will not get better if there is nothing telling you that there is enemy spotting you. This is unlearnable. PS. I don't care about your e-peen issues. Mahan was example that YOU used, I merely provided stats based on it. -

This is why you are not sitting in the open waters, in the middle of nowhere(except in ocean map). I always position myself so that I am not too far from islands and allied cruisers. You always need to have option to find cover, even with battleship. -

No.., that's not it. The thing is you're just simply doing it wrong. That is why your winrate with Mahan is only 50 and mine is 75. I used SA, you didn't. -
Solution: make ranked grind harder and shorter by decreasing required stars and removing irrevocable ranks... Now the grind is so long that people just want to do something else. Also reward needs to be good enough so that it would be better than grinding ships in random

I stopped in rank 5 after 120 battles, because I felt that grind was too long. Too many stars required per rank in 5-1 -
How about this: Everyone starts battle with -500xp... that would make it hard for bots

99% of this problem is solved with relatively easy change: patch takes class in consideration, and for ALL DD's it gives BFT instead of BoS. -

This problem has nothing to do with "getting something for free or not". The problem is that some DD sailors are put in DISADVANTAGE COMPARED TO OTHER PLAYERS, if they have certain skills now. And the only way to fix it is with EUROS, according to WG. -

I also have Blyska abd Benson captain, which require respeccing. Both of them got 5th captain skill just recently and doesn't have BFT. Around 800 or so doubloons for respeccing... -

Very soon in Roon and I tend to get dragged a lot in T10 games in it. Today had 5 games in a row T10. That said you have to be really careful with this ship and not rush ahead. It is even almost like playing Atlanta, in a way that you really need to pick your location. You will be completely erased by Iowas and Montanas. It is almost stressing to play this because you have to avoid hits to the maximum by maneuvering behind islands and it more or less feels like constant survival game rather than just racking up damage. I am almost done the grind and in 64% winrate so it is an ok ship. AA is absolutely monster. It will erase Midway planes like paper if you max all AA. I assume it, because you said so yourself: "In almost every battle the game end just when its about to get interesting.". <- You are not making it interesting in the beginning of the match, you just "drive maps" most of the game, like you said. But yeah, quoting yourself: "Lost cause".

I also told you the alternative, pointing that it is not only the losses like this. The problem here is that most people do this same thing, but you can prevent it in your team by not "going the long way around" and start fighting from the center right away. You are so focused on getting butthurt that you miss the point whole time. By changing your playstyle you can start fighting right away. If you do like "everyone else does" and sail around the edges of the map like racing in a superspeedway. ALL YOUR GAMES will be boring for the first 10 minutes and they all end before you even get to do anything. The point here is that you can prevent this, by changing your own playstyle.

I think you missed the point? instead of controlling the center, you let enemy control the center and they get so many points that the battle is cuts short(alternative is that the enemy does the same mistake and once again battle is cut short). Maybe you should come down from your high horse, all assuming that your game is perfect and realize what you are doing wrong there, instead of blaming the game design. I don't have any problems games cutting short, because I fight for control the whole game, instead of "driving around" for the first 10 minutes and then wondering what happened, why it ended.

I think the problem is there: You "think" you know how to "drive maps". I swear 99% of the people "think" they know how to "drive maps". The thing is, you don't "drive them" at all. Most of the time instead of "driving to B+C" like 99% of the people do, you should be trying to control the center of the map. and make sure you hold the central cap.

Ironically... IMO German Cruisers are the best Cruiser hunters

I would choose based on if you have more use for Russian or US captain training. They are both very similar. (I have both).
