Tbh. I don't even know if I wanna play the game anymore, the Cv rework is so bad for everyone besides the Cv's.
The number of times I've seen a Cv squadron go up between 2-3 Cruisers or Battleships with AA guns blazing away and see the Cv still manage to get a drop off and then retrieve most of his planes are so broken that i'm sad to admit that I miss the old Cv's at least you stood a chance back then.
I know it sucked to be taken out by a perfect torp drop but as it is now Wargaming might as well remove repair party because it's pretty much useless now.
Here's an example: you are under attack by a Cv you hold your repair party till the Cv is done harassing you, he finally [edited] off you repair by the time all your fires and floods are out the Cv is back with next squadron and you still got like 50secs cd on your crap.
It's especially hilarious when you got 2 Cv's tandem spanking you then you might as well go afk because your AA is completely useless, you can try and bunch up with others, however you'll just see a glorious firework display of flak all around but the planes still make it threw, so how that's supposed to be balanced i dunno.
Had a really good Experience on how bad AA has become.
I have the premium ship Hood we all know the AA on that ship when planes got within her missile cable range with the Defensive fire active how devastating that was was, however in a recent match I fell prey to a Cv "big surprise there" activated my cooldown, and suffered threw all 3 drops from that Cv I surprisingly only managed to shoot down 1 plane, on the contrary I lost half my hp repaired activated my hp consumable, be4 that even finished the Cv was back with dive bombers and naturally my repair party still had between 30-50 secs left so we all know the outcome after that to top it off my friendly carrier even dropped his fighter consumable on top of me and the enemy Cv still only lost 1 maybe 2 planes.
I have pretty much given up on even loading a game with a DD, since your average life span is maybe making it to a Cap and then die so no thx.
Considering the chat in game and what I've read on forums I have a feeling im not the only one with this opinion.
I know Wargaming is still toying with the stuff so I can only hope it gets better, but as of right now I dont have high hopes on a pleasant and enjoyable play session in game with the current game state oh except when your overjoyed to see no Cv's on the the enemy team. :)
