i have a few suggestions nothing extreme,
1.the depth of sub to be fixed, which means one press of C you go to the periscope depth 6 meters second to 20 etc. this will mitigate the abuse of 5.9 meters speed trick and will help later optimization (read bellow)
2. the moment you submerge the speed must be cut at half, no matter the depth this will mitigate the forever hidden subs, if they want to hide they will never reach
3. the torps can hit targets only 1 tier above or bellow them, for example if you are at 3 tier depth you can hit targets at 2 or 3, this will help the sub vs sub battles
4. depth charges must have 2 tiers shallow or deep. shallow hits 1 and 2 depth tier, deep hits 3 and 4, so now dds can hit at any depth while subs have the chance to avoid complete destruction if a dd has found them
5. damage must be dealt from he at depths 0 and 1 from any ship, depth charges in order to do damag must be closer to sub 100m or 150m as someone noted on previous post.
6. the torps must have only one ping for homing and just increased chance of hit the citadel. No ignore the torpedo belt production, its stupid this is why they put it there
7.its not a simulation but never the less the time that subs can stay bellow must be limited, something like for every 3 minutes summerged to need at least 4 above for full battery charge, a cv needs several minutes to reload a full squadron after damage have been taken so why sub have the advantage of staying there for the whole game
thats it and to conclude i love subs at least now the campers have something to afraid
