I think you are one of rare then. I've had a fair share of citadel hits, but much less than before. Just a few battles ago I had a few broadside hits on the likes of Ibuki, Amagi and NO - 0 citadels but I did some decent damage

It's not pointless, but if you want to fight another battleship, you either need some cover, or another battleship with you so he gets focused instead of you. I find it quite hard to believe that you got hit 7 times in 2 salvos while being perfectly angled, but ok.

All those 7 hits cant be citadels, it takes 3 citadel hits to destroy T7 or T8 cruiser. You cannot show your broadside and expect not to get citadelled, you also cannot expect just to sail straight and not get hit, as you said from any range. You need to try avoiding salvos instead of just looking at them and remember, battleships are a COUNTER for cruisers.

Well, since we cannot stop you, I'm just gonna leave my reply here. The most fun: definitely BBs! Always full of action, always someone targeting you, with torps or shells + you got the biggest guns in game that can pack the biggest punch of course. I am one of those, that actually likes being shot at with torps, from time to time, because it makes you more situational aware and helps you inform your team about possible DD position. I also love watching that AA work and all the planes falling into the sea around me Least fun: at the moment, IJN DDs for me (tier 7) Why? Because people get smarter at those tiers, more situationally aware and its almost impossible to do well in it every battle. It's like for every time I see planes spotted my torps or every time someone makes dodging manouvers the same second I fire my torps a bit of my fun is killed...

Agreed, even tho I don't like them too much (playing with them or against them) but since so many players are complaining, I guess something needs to be done

I'm not expecting to get 1000 citadels, but I'm also not expecting a cruiser to rush me in my BB, showing his broadside and taking only the minimum (or none) damage per shell. BBs are a counter for CAs, not the other way around. It's not the AP that got nerfed, its the cruiser armor that got changed and because of that, cruisers have a capability to deal more damage per salvo to BBs than BBs to them. They are working hard, we all know it, but they f*cked up quite a few things with the last patch Just look how much the amount of BBs dropped, like their avg dmg, that should mean something because at the moment, they are the least rewarding class to play. EDIT: Forums are here for discussions and feedback. If people hadn't said anything about the current problems, WG would have probably never acknowledged them.

They are working on stuff like that. From what I've heard there was something like it in closed alpha or at the beginning of closed beta but DDs had a too easy job there so it was removed so they can work on it further on

Oh cmon 2/3 topics were "fix this, fix that" and all of them were about the 2 same this, BB AP vs CAs and broken plane landing on carriers. The problem is here for a week, but it took us 1-2 days (and weekend) to really show them it is a problem and if I recall correctly they stated it will be fixed by the end of the week. I don't see the point of opening another topic about it

I am not fully disappointed, but I'm not really happy either. I am happy about the premium repair party if nothing else. Oh well, Pearl Harbor anniversary is around the corner, hopefully we will get something big (and SAME as the NA server)

I saw one as well. Apparently it is a gift for all who reached rank 1 in the ranked season and WG was kind enough not to inform us about it. My interest for ranked matches would have changed a lot, instead, I've just played it for last 2 days before the end of season

Yes, the one mission was a disappointment, but I still believe we are getting new, fun and different content worth of waiting. Today we are getting 3 missions, x3 xp which is nice considering we didn't have it yet. The credits and xp cut was only for carriers asap, because they were earning far more than others, now that they are on equal with other classes it is fair. And yeah, I think they should listen to the player feedback, but they probably have long term planes and need to stick to them

Haven't met many Yamatos or Montanas, but the likes of Iowa, Izumo, North Carolina and Amagi seem to take healthy amounts of damage from the Mogamis guns, I even had a 10k salvo on NC a few days ago. I just didn't notice any difference between before and after 5.1 Gonna pay a bit more attention now

All of them. CVs the least as I don't find them interesting and they are relatively boring to play for me. I got the most battles in CAs but I love BBs the most.

If what you guys say is true, than I don't know what kind of a beast Mogami (155mm) was before because I'm getting constant 3-4-5-6k (or even more) salvos on all kinds of ships. German and US cruisers seem to take a lot of damage from her HE. A few days ago I wrecked a Roon on my own, in only a few salvos, don't even want to say what it does to certain BBs at the moment considering the low damage Mogami takes with BB AP now

They seem to be quite good in a hands of a proper CV captain. Yesterday an Essex managed to deal 15k dmg to me with 1 bomb drop, so I'm guessing they can deal a lot of damage in a certain course of time.

This ship has gotten better for me. I had the same problem going from Colorado to North Carolina, trying to get used to the different gameplay at higher tiers, and different opponents I was able to face then. I wasn't expecting that going from North Carolina to Iowa as they seemed similar but I play them in totally different ways. I'm just trying to keep a certain distance (12-15km) from other battleships, brawling is something I must forget totally as this ship isn't meant for it with its weak broadside My avg dmg has improved from ~50k to 70k so far, and I hope it will keep improving the more I play it.

I just stopped reading after page 5 because he is just an ignorant (insert the f word here) EDIT: Of course there are days when you feel like the whole world is against you, but its funny nobody opens up those "MM is against me" theories when they are on a winning streak...

If you keep winning it means you are a skilled player and don't you think skilled players would rather meet higher tiers because then they got more potential damage which means more credits and xp?
