The only tip is: keep playing. You got just 47 battles. I've been stuck on rank 3 for past 3-4 days. Played almost 30 battles and I am at the same spot as if I just got to rank 3... It's all about RNG and whether the MM will bless you with less braindead players

I've once hit a DD with 3 torps in a salvo with my DD, and he hit me with 1. He ended up surviving and me on the bottom of the ocean. DDs have like 3 compartments (or 4?) and each compartment has maximum HP/damage it can take and all I can think of is that you've hit the same compartment twice.

This patch seems amazing on paper. Lets hope they don't [edited]it up like with 5.1.

I did it with Iowa, NC, Amagi without any problems. I don't know whats wrong with Montana but I just cant fight Yamatos with it, while at the same time I'm taking 10-20k salvos from each angle. -

That extra turret mostly works for the first few salvos you take, then you turn into an Iowa, even with the equipment for 20% less chance of turret destruction. -

Who says from the front? I cant deal proper damage to him from any angle. Just yesterday I had a battle where I had 2 Yamatos full broadside to me. Once from 16 km away and the other time from 10 km away. Had a few perfectly aimed salvos. Probably did no more than 30k dmg to one in more than 20 hits, while the other one took probably a bit more, and I got only 1 citadel hit, which was when he was on 1k hp. I also had a moment where I didn't pay attention and shown broadside to one of them. He did 50k+ to me! Ships should preform relatively similar, tier for tier. The fact that Yamato has almost 30k more avg dmg means something. Also for 1337kaka, I don't see the point of arguing with this troll, the guy obviously has some issues. -

I was talking about full broadside 1v1. But I don't expect you to understand. You are just a scrub who thinks a bit too much about himself Also 10 games is more than enough for me as I don't die in first 2 minutes of battle. I also got a lot of experience from playing other BBs and sometimes even a few battles with a fully upgraded and elite ship is enough to tell. Arguments? You don't have any arguments. Feel free to visit the maplesyrup website and you will see that Montana is clearly underpreforming compared to Yamato. The numbers speak for themselves. -

Then you obviously haven't met any Yamatos or Zaos. The ship itself cannot even penetrate Yamato's broadside properly while the Yamato can citadel you from any angle. Feel free to check my BB statistics before you mark me as a noob. Also saying that only bad players got this ship is a bit stupid as all kinds of players play all kinds of ships and its obvious that Montana is underpreforming compared to Yamato. -
Have you read any forum posts lately? Most of them were about 0.5.2 patch and it clearly says we will be able to see compliments/reports in game with the arrival of the patch

They don't. Some of them just think rationally. You cannot act like: "if someone doesn't share my opinion he is stupid" and that is just stupid. Those attacks on supertesters just show frustration people here have and since you have NO ONE FROM WG TO COMMUNICATE WITH US, then you guys gotta attack the ones that are the closest to them out of all us, even though its not that close. -

I highly doubt the "firepower" of cruisers is their HP, but ok. It's gonna heal better now tho, if nothing... It has one of the best torps/dispertion in game...
