That is not true. Tbh I get a lot of instances where I hit 5-8 shells with Atago/Ibuki and all I do is damage someones AA. Same goes for 155s. Although, the 203mm does deals more damage per shell, it still has lower rof.

You need to mark the squadrons first (ctrl+left click on them) and only those kills count towards the Clear Sky. Also I think you need to kill 50% of all planes in the opponent team now.

It is not at all. I mostly struggle to kill just 1-2 of Essex planes in my Montana, but hey... BB mafia.

It is 5.1 you are talking about and I was playing the Mogami during that patch. Had the best games of my life with it then. Of course they aren't regular. Just like with a BB you do 20k in 1 salvo, then do 1k in other salvo, or with torps, you do 15k with 1 hit and then 9k with other hit. Its all RNG

They also have better prices, Nikolai I on sale permanently and quite some more benefits. Recently they got a code that gives tachibana, diana and a T5 premium tank in WoT. No wonder they are the only stable/increasing in population server.

The blame is to put on those divisions. If I'm not mistaken, if there is a certain tier difference in the division, it won't matter for the MM because it will count them all as the highest tier in that division.

Then your aim is wrong. You cannot hit ships waterline with HE and expect some damage. Aim for the superstructure. I've had up to 10k HE salvos on BBs, and constant 4-5k damage per salvo (especially against cruisers). Not to mention what it does to DDs.

1) Knowing WG, probably not. We did not even get the season recap for 2nd season, nor the ship AlsoRobots said we would get (and in the article it said "but wait, there might be more (prizes)"). Prizes in the 3rd season are basically the same, although it is nice there aren't any ranks without rewards now. 2) I guess it depends on the amount of players, both on the server all together and those who actually played ranked. I believe RU server needs more stars than we do since they have more players.

Almost all the info is wrong there. First of all Nagato has more range, then, the Colorado has almost the same armor as NM, but the problem is that you face bigger guns so it doesn't seem so good but it actually is. Nagato is around 4 knots faster, which does make a difference considering how slow Colorado can feel. Also the Nagato has amazing secondaries, which can shred DDs and CAs when in close range (although it is not recommendable to get in close range to some of those ). Also, the AA on Colorado is really good for its tier while the Nagato has a bit worse AA, but it is still not bad.

Don't use free xp to advance to ships, use free xp to research ship modules when ships are stock. Both Colorado and Nagato are relatively crap when stock so I suggest researching them with regular xp and then use free xp to research the hulls.

"If well prepared and executed" - That is the way it is supposed to be, while with Midways it is much easier (or at least seems so). I used to do my best trying to avoid all his planes, but after all those, mostly fail attempts I simply do not see the point in trying hard to dodge anymore. Whats the point of showing a broadside to other ships (while dodging torps) and taking a few thousand or tens of thousands of damage to avoid a few torps? I am dead anyway in situations like this, which is probably one of the main reasons (besides DDs) why you see BBs sniping. Sure, I can ask a cruiser to stick to me and help me but in most cases those cruisers will either die because of that or will just have an overall bad game with only a few hits.

Replay please? I have never had that happen to me. When I see a Midway going after me I can only chose whether to die form it or try to avoid it and show my juicy broadside to other BBs and die by them. Even if a Midway catches me when I'm a bit far from opponents, I have never managed to avoid more than 2-3 (out of 12) torps. His planes are too fast for any BB to avoid them properly (not saying you are supposed to). Unless its a complete noob Midway which I have not seen more than 1-2 times. EDIT: Oh and lets not forget bombers that can make up to 10k dmg and 3 fires per drop.

Then a cruiser is not supposed to dodge any shells either? Or get overpenetrated (which happens a lot)? Also a DD is then is not supposed to dodge cruiser shells either then? Have you even seen Midways in action? It can take any class, especially DDs (which is not supposed to happen) and BBs!

Well, if you look at it, it is almost certain they would work together. One CV could take full strike and the other one air superiority and just cover each other and kill ships 1 by 1 without any bigger problems.

I'd still rather see 2 Shimas or 2 Yamatos than 2 Midways. Even 1 Midway is way too much (yes, BB mafia).

I think I know that guy. Played a game on North a couple of days ago, where he was our only T8 BB. He was the only one that went behind the big island on east, just stopped there and sniped 1-2 cruisers that were hardly in his range as the opponent team made a lemming train to west. He just stood there and watched the game go by, maybe fired if someone got into his range for a short time. When I asked him what is he doing he said that it is his job as a BB to stay at max range and snipe. I thought he was just trolling but realized he really meant it after I asked him to help us and tank at least a bit and he responded with the same, saying his job is to stay at max range. The saddest part is that you cant report him for being dumb, but if he plays ranked then I really don't know what to say. The best thing to do is to do your best and hope the game ends quickly.

Situational awareness is the key. You can assume where the DDs might be, avoid those positions. Never go alone in a BB since DDs will all turn their torp tubes towards you. Also, they can be killed in 1 shot, but then again, you should not try to hunt DDs in a BB (unless you know what you are doing) and that is why you always need a cruiser or an another DD with you.
