I do not think you will find anyone trying to remember all the players name and thinking how he might play compared to previous battles. I for example, play against all opponents the same, like they are the best in the world and I need to beat them. Almost always give my best to kill them. As for torps. It's simple, do not sail in a straight line. I just do not see how would implementing that actually change the game and help. It could only cause flaming.

I did my fair share of battles in Kiev. Had almost no problems facing up to 2 DDs (depending on the situation tho). Although it was the pre-nerf Kiev. And somehow, I highly doubt the additional HP will be 6k (for US DDs at least). It will probably be in the range of 500-1000k max. Otherwise it would be too OP.

If the pearl rewards stay the same next week I should be getting those 260 next Monday. Since we are 3 weeks into this and collected ~5 mil pearls, getting 5 more doesn't seem like a problem for the next 3 and a half weeks.

I really do not understand to be honest. So you only want it for yourself or what? Do you need to check that players profile first in order to "evaluate his skill" or do you need to play with him first to see it? How would you see others color if it is personalized and no one else can see it? EDIT: On top of all that, it is gonna take a minute-two-three at least to check all their profiles and therefore it does not make any sense to implement that in game

AFT is useless on USN DDs... It seems to me that the only way SN DDs will be affected by this is that they will get to do more damage. Don't they already have more HP than their counterparts anyway?

So basically you want XVM to come in this game? It is a big NO from me because the community just became more toxic in WoT because of it. Seeing 11 other red players on your time doesn't really give you much of a motivation... I'd prefer to keep it this way. Also, blue/purple players would probably be heavily focused first, just because they are good.

I have to say I am impressed with some stuff again. Cannot wait to see how will the new commander skills turn out to be, to play on the new map and of course, the team battles The only thing that concerns me is whether we are going to get our points back for last stand or maybe a free captain point redistribution for those new skills?

Captain skills: 1 point: I believe BFT is a must for cruisers as it gives you better AA efficiency and it reloads faster. Situational awareness is as well a must for cruisers (especially IJN who rely on stealthiness) because it helps you know when you are spotted by a DD (when hunting them) or anything else basically. 2 point: Expert marksman all the way on IJN cruisers because it really helps with their slow turret rotation. 3 point: Superintended because you get that additional repair party consumable (+1 if you use premium repair party which is also a must on high tier cruisers) and hydroacoustic/defensive fire as well. 4 point: demolition expert, that 3% will help you a alot. IJN cruisers are already all about that HE and that additional fire chance makes people hate you even more 5 point: I do not have it yet but i will go for concealment expert as with it my Zao will be able to stealth fire Setup: 1st slot: Main battery modification 1. I do not think I need to explain this one. 2nd slot: GFCS modification 1. I went for this as I tend to keep my distance from BBs and more precision is always welcome. AA guns mod 2 also seems like a viable options but since I find the AA on Ibuki relatively crap anyway I did not go for it. 3rd slot: GFCS modification 2. I believe range on high tier cruisers is everything and I cannot imagine playing without it now. Your range goes up to 19.2 km with it (if you already have GFCS researched on the ship). Another option would be AA guns mod 3, but as I said previously, I found the AA on Ibuki crap + I'd rather get great range instead of being able to kill a few more planes. 4th slot: This is basically up to you. I did not buy anything there because I did not have credits at the time and I did not really see the need for any of those since I use premium repairs as well (damage control system modification 1 seems like a best option for me then) 5th slot : again, I had no credits, but I'd go for steering gears modification 2 as it will drop to 5,5-6 sec then which is really good for avoiding incoming shells and torpedoes. 6th slot: concealment system modification 1 because IJN cruisers are all about that stealthiness As for the flags, it is really up to you. The only one I'd recommend (even though I am not using it) is the India Delta. Hope I helped

You are doing something wrong then. Try not to die fast, always try to do damage at least 80% of your ships HP and don't wander off alone (especially if you are playing battleships).

It is really nice from WG they finally gave us a ship without bundle, but I have unfortunately spent the money planned for this game (for some time at least). Since I will encounter this thing with my Benson, one thing interests me the most: whats the shell trajectory like compared to Benson?

Weekly missions are called weekly because they reset every week. If you will have 170 pearls you must have seen that the missions have changed last Monday...

Got my first solo warrior today. They had 800 pts and both caps and somehow I managed to win in last seconds of the game. First I took out the Nagato (30k hp), then I got a devastating strike on a Yorck (15k hp) that was rushing me together with a Tirpitz (who I torped earlier before I had to go for Nagato and he had 20k hp left). Last one was really close as their Myoko was hiding and after I said I want a solo warrior their Myoko (10k hp) actually fired at me (although he was running) and I got a citadel hit on him as well EDIT: Forgot to mention that I was at 20k hp when it all started and at 600 hp (and just started to heal) when Myoko fired at me.

It must be boring getting all those random torpedo hits which even cruisers have no chance to avoid, I feel your pain EDIT: IJN DDs are the arty of WoWs. You should have known that before starting the line. Powerful weapon with slow reload. Also, I've been told Shima has good guns and can stealth fire, so why don't you try that out while you are reloading?

I do not think all the rants/discussions about them should be in this thread, because when there is an actual problem, most of people want discuss it properly. Threads like these would just be a chaos and we probably would not know who's talking to who.
