I admire the fact that Wargaming isn't beyond false advertizing just to make a buck: The lack of effectiveness of its HE shells is offset by the above average potential damage of its AP ammunition and the highest firing range among all Tier VIII cruisers (up to 17.7 km) Guess someone at WG forgot the Kutuzov. Oh well.

A suggestion regarding CAs (and one BB suggestion)

I think the most important change to make CAs more viable (still not viable enough) would be to have them have both defensive AA and the search at the same time. There is no reason why they should exclude each other. Especially since max division size is 3. If one could actually division up fleets maybe that'd be an argument, but as that is not the case there is no reason CAs shouldn't just have both. Especially since there aren't enough carriers around at the moment making higher tier games (esp. T9+) a game of "collect as few torpedoes as possible". -
If you are coming from the Fuso, just be aware of the fact that it takes a few games to get used to it. But it is by far my favorite ship in the game (I've got all the way to the Yamato, so that's saying something). It has incredible hitting power. Very respectable armor if you angle just a bit. But just make sure you get the upgrades on her, otherwise you'll be unimpressed. It's worth using free xp for the first upgrades.

Well I can say that I one-shot cruisers once or twice each game, not like some people say once in a few hundred games. Usually it's down to the cruisers sailing in a straight line, so it's their fault. I'd just like to see cruisers actually have a place in the game (a role). AA (anti-air) is fine, I'd like to see them be good versus destroyers though and that would require them to be able to detect destroyers sooner (maybe improve the search and always have it on cruisers, not a choice between concentrated fire and search) or at least hit them better with faster shell travel time. Possible reduce citadel damage a tick so they aren't one-shot as often.
