As I tried to explain in my earlier post. Torpedo damage is reflected 4 times. Doing around 6.500 damage on a Ognevoi on one section seems to be posible.

But the heavily armored tanks didn't have a repair option to regain most of the damage done by the HE. Edit :If WG is going to nerv HE they have to rebalance in another way. Imho that would not be a solution. Because then the excuses to camp will shift to the part were CA's are buffed. It is a complicated problem. imho this can only be solved by making the BB more depended on the CA. Just as a CA now depends on BB support (High tier).

Thank you for the explanation. This is how it should work (if I remember correctly) : After you are pink the damage is reflected. The reflected damage is double the damage you did to the teammember. However the damage from torpedoes does half the damage to your teammember. So damage done to a teammember by torpedoes is reflected 4 times. After an X amount of damage done to your teammembers your teammembers you can't harm yor teammembers anymore, but the damage will still reflect. The problem in this story is that , based on what I have seen, the amount of damage you must do before you can't do damage anymore to your teammembers is quite high. More likely is that the torpedo already hit a damaged part of the Ognevoi. In that case that part of the DD can't take any damage anymore. The damage (x4) what your torpedo normally would do to a Ognevoi when hitting that part of the ship was reflected. I think this is intentional. And please don't shoot torps anymore from the second line.

I never heard before that reflected damage was calculated wrong. You claim that the other 2 pinkies were you (killed by me). However your screenshot shows only one kill under Warships destroyed. I think you looked wrong , and one (or both pinkies (what is more likely) were on your team.

This weekend I was playing some batles in a division. A 3 men division all in BB's. We pushed all the way without any support. Never had such an easy wins. The moment an enemy BB sees you, it tries to flee. At some moment a slow ship comes in range => focused fire => Enemy dead. We just killed the enemy one by one. Only at the end (where the map ends) we had some real opposition. Seems to me that a BB division is much easier to play as a CA or DD division. Edit : I had even fun while playing BB

That is quite a famous TK-er. I heard about this player before. I beliefe that his weapon of choise is a CV. I only met him in batle with his Atago. In that batle he didn't TK. -
After this BS you are out Fact : Fires do very litle damage to BB's. Most damage done to BB's is by AP shells. This is due to the fact that firedamage can be repaired 100% Fact : The atlanta has only a survival rate of 23 % Fact : The max fire range of an Atlanta is just above 13K. At that range the shell arc is that large that a BB can evade it. Fact : BB's have a larger average survival rate and higher average damage as DD's and CA's. If you can't hit a CA within 13 K you have a serious problem. If camping is due to the HE spam then why is there more camping, when there are more BB's in game. Even when there are only 2 CA's and 2 DD's on the enemy side the BB's stays camping.

On the other hand I have seen many pinkies who learned nothing. I play often at the front line, numerous times I have to evade friendly torps from pinkies. I never trust a pink player who is sailing behind me and has torpedoes. If posible I let them in front of me, but most of the time they stay at the second line (safe for them, but not for their teammembers). -

I was always thinking that those circles were a sort of trap, and you have to get out of there before the circle turns red or green. I have even seen many ships explode in that circle. This theorie is proven by the fact that every time I sail into such a circle by accident, my teammembers directly sail into the other direction to escape the blast. Why would a teammember do something like that, if what you tell us is the truth, that behavior makes no sense. In that case everybody would try to defend those zones. -

4 Whishes, it is common to ask for three only 1) they change sounds almost every big patch, so eventually your wish will be granted (I think). 2) Doubt it will be ever in game. Inmagine, to be under focused fire. I don't think it will not be much fun to be hindered by your ship movement. 3) Next patch they will reward teamplay more. I don't know if they also highered the amount of rewards for plane kills. However most BB's on high tier can manage the planes their self. 4) If I'm correct , they already said that something like this is in development. More info somewhere in the news from Rusia threath. -
I think This. Although in RL you could be right. This is a game. Your idea will make the game more static. The game is static enough.

Welcome back. Glad to hear you feel better now. Short update, Almost every thing changed in a year. Doubt you would recognize the game. RNCL are not yet in game, but can be expecteted to be released soon (that answer didn't change in a year ). As (almost) everyone knows there were some problems with that release. Hope you will enjoy the game again.

If a Fubuki sees a high tier USN DD at 8 KM. The USN DD has other more important priorities as that DD on 8 KM. I would take care of the one that spots me first.

The problem might be solved a bit easier : - Buff survivability of planes - Buff AA of CA -Nerf Radar, so that they can't see through mountains and islands. This opens more options for tactical gameplay. - Most important : change MM teams should consist out of 0-1 CV 1-3 BB 1-3 DD And the rest CA. This opens more options for tactics (for example flanking with CA's). imho this will mean that in the beginning people in DD and BB has to wait a bit longer. But CA can do more as their greatest enemy is less present. In time this will lead to more CA in que and less waiting time for others. Any thoughts about this ? -

I think it might become worse. CA's might get a slight buf. On the other hand DD's get nerf after nerf (direct or indirect). At this point CA's can't do anything without BB support. A lot of BB's camp. The future will be that DD's only fight eachother or can't do anything without CA support. So everybody will camp. In the past camping BB's were controlled by CV's. BB's needed AA protection from CA's. DD's were spotted by CV's and killed by CA's. At some point WG nerfed the CV and made the AA of BB's much stronger. The CV disapered almost from High tier. BB's didn't need the protection of CA's anymore and a lot of them became profesional campers. CA gameplay became very boring. So CA players went to play BB or DD. Now a lot of CA that are on high tier have radar. A magical instrument that even sees through mountains. And that radar becomes stronger, because the cooldown has been buffed. So now DD's have to be very carefully. In the next patch DD's will be nerfed futher (the new IJN destroyes and the replacement of some) probably after this the USN DD's will become victem of the nerf hammer. Meanwhile I have the impression that there are more CV's on hightier. Now they are mainly hunting DD's and CA's. -
IMHO the TK penalty is enough for incidental TK. It could be even a bit worse by an 1 hour ban to think about your sins. I agree the penelty for delibertly TK is too low. I would suggest that if you do 1 TK in a batle and you damage another teammember by guns or torps in the same match or the match after that should be followed by removing from the player from the batle and an ban wich depends on the number of TK in the past.

It depends totally on what DD you are sailing, the support you have and what the opposition is. No cap is it worth to die for (at the start). So if you think the opposition is to strong and you have not enough support -> get out. There are still other caps. In the end of the batle a DD is the most usefull. Remember when you are alive you can Always come back for the cap. Also remember that it doesn't help your team if you caped and loose the cap almost right away after that.

imho commander XP is most important. A lot of vessels are so much easier to sail with a 15 point commander. This is a realy nice present. And the best thing, you can determine your self when and how to use it, this in contrairy with the double xp weekends.

Cheater, those flages are not given yet , so you must have hacked the server On a more serious way. I think those are only the ones you get for your first victory in this periode. You should also have a commemorative flag then. The load of flags will follow. I think it will be on the 19 th.

I don't know where it was designed for. I know that this is a game not a simulator. Fact is that this isn't a bug or exploit. A lot of ships depends on smoke for doing a large part of their damage. They were balanced that way. Some were even nerfed hard because they did more damage as expected from the smoke. So if your plan is goining to happen a lot of ships will need a buff.
