at least it will teach you how to disengage unless your in something that has poor concealment or your brain does walkabouts for whatever reason. also r.i.p to those with ships that have high firing arcs and slow arse shells.

hmm didn't think the mahan had such good AA but then with USN CV's its a lot easier to knock modules due to sheer volume of rockets. havent decided which nation is better doe in regards to rockets (due to lack of experience in the ijn cv line on miss hosho atm).

Well since the objective is too win, and if you ignore the objectives you are basically greifing. If you are surpossed to cap and see that the cap is being contested and don't go back (with a chance to win if you do) then you might as well just spam the chat or go afk. Unless the game states you have to lose, i don't see why people don't try win when they can. Pvp is all about winning and ruining the other teams fun. unless the game clearly states otherwise. Most people who lack skill won't just purposely throw the game away especially when you tell them what to do to win (i should know since i've told peeps what to do and sometimes they do it), we had two tier 10 cruisers a salem and moskava that we told to help us push C cap (since they had radar) so that we could link up with the rest of the team and so that we could win. Only thing they did was tell us to go and f ourselves and then just hid at the back while we had to chase down a yugi two currys and a cleveland. Both were 46% winrate players with over 6k games so it's not like they didn't have an excuse. And yes we lost the game. Our CV should of killed the daring, but he wasn't greifing since was actively trying to win he just made a bad decision at the time. Playing bad is ok, but if you ignore objectives on purpose especially if your team is calmly pointing them out and you just decide to ignore useful info (especially if its info that wins the match) then you are pratically greifing. Which then the other 11 or 14 other players on your team have just wasted their time (which you can't get back) on watching someone who deoesn't play for the objectives. Most of the time it's people just making bad descions at the time or poor reactions rates that cost people the game rather than them failing to understand what is going on, which leads to their defeat more often than not, such as capping just after a crucial amount of time or taking too long to notice that last ship and not being able to fire quickly enough to kill it (unless rng f's you over but thats out of anyones control regardless).

Yeah it brings me back to my game on hidden village in my T-34-1 when i only just hit above 49% winrate, i managed to carry but did make some questionable decisions either way i had a 47% hellcat with me and i gave some hints as to were the last tank might be and suggested i go forward and he gets into position to kill said enemy (with some guy raging in chat). i survived and managed to win with dat hellcat. 47-48% is avg winrate i believe anyways. His other stats werent too bad kd was slightly off avg damage was kinda low but eh he had around 6k games me around 4k games at that point.

California, yorkie, tennesse, H43, 44 and 45. and some other ships i cant remember.

Read that as peace of mind, but i guess that helps as well. too be honest all the suggestions above are unfortunately pointless since this game is somewhat past its peak since wargaming is getting less interested in getting new players (or so i’ve read). Oh well, we tried ladz. Might play paladins more often.

Ahh you were roight smoll minia! -
Actually the first line since you are actively greifing by preventing your team from winning and granting the enemy team an unfair adv. you can also get banned for swearing and death threats etc. (Even more prevalent when you point this out and they ignore or insult you back). i should know since people who actively hinder teammates end up getting banned for a reason, theres a difference between bad play and malciously being an arse. theres no excuse for the above and people who play the game and aware of tutorials and outside knowledge, basically are being selfish to ruin other peeps fun. Which begs the question why they play team based online multiplayer games if thats their attitude, i mean if you lose a lot and die very quickly i struggle to how thats fun in anyway. not only that its easier than world of tanks to get from tier 1-10 if you put in like 25-40 games a day or even 10 games to 20 games a day, so the volume of bad players along with a lack of a decent tut system along with a non existant skill reward system leaves little insentive to improve. i would be fine with helping but if people are too blind or wilfully ignorant then you might as well not bother, on world of tanks they had tank academy (they closed down sadly) which was anazingly helpful, i get some peeps are truely ignorant (like i was when i first started playing) and they get suprised or whatever but actively harming your teams chances when you point out things is just terrible behaviour, especially when you say it nicely. als im not talking about bad play, im talking about those who ignore or try to ruin peoples fun by the above, ive had 47% winrate players be more useful than some 55% winrate players even if they arent able to consistently do things ive noticed they tend to be more ‘loyal’ judging from my experience on both games. I have to admit the community here is far less toxic than wot’s and revealing ones location seldomly happens, but still.

Reminds me of the csgo forums on steam, where your typical idiot insists they got unfairly banned by VAC or got a 1 week cooldown but find out they can't back up a single thing they say. not that the cooldown stacks so it's not like they had ample time to change or just not play csgo for somewhile. -

last 30 replays are automatically stored, unless for some questionable reason you turned them of. -
He does. not sure why you give up after one rocket strike either. Unless he smokes up and you've lost quite a few planes, you might as well try and wittle his hp down, the only probs with jap cv's is that then need to facing you rather than sideways on. (for usn its the other way around), to get the most hits.

Like cruisers! -'w'/

Those who managed to get recruits (either new or returnees) via the referree-program. How many of those are still active after a couple of weeks?

I showed my friends this game and said it was boring as hell and had stupid mechanics (objects turning invisible based on certain conditions). they went bak to black deeeesert onpine because the combat was far better in terms of fluidity and speed. makes me wonder if they expected queen elizabeth to karate chop and final flash everything to death in 2 secs on teh maps. oh well. -
Why is Mogador performing so bad ?

JUst play dem as toineh charles martels and henri 4’s. at least thats what i see to get something out of them. -
Well i killed him in miss texas while he was in that german tier 6 premium bb. and yes all he did was spam HE at me despite having around 40k hp and me around 25-30k. Although the mission seems incredibly asinine regardless, but i havent bothered with grindfests in wg's games for quite sometime now.

*contemplates next steps for future events* Also. Just wish they made the lines more consistent like iz-muh-mail and peter petrol having questionable gun arcs and amount of guns they can bring to the front as well. 15km Radar that could spot everything would be hilarious doe, but for balance well...kinda like the RN BB line or french line having werid one or two off's the line that don't follow the general principals of ships before and after. 460mm russian ship would be hilarious doe i want missss booooooogue bak.
-
Well those are only two examples toineh miniaz. Although i wouldn't mind more games like that where you actually have to engage le brain. -'W'/ Yeah i never understood why they changed that formula too be honest, people said they were too accurate when it came to cruisers but if you less than 12km from a bb in a cruiser then you kinda f'ed anyways with your positioning (yeah i get the lower ranged cruisers but you can adjust the range parameters based on tier or just give russian bb's small range pools.). The game is quite selfish actually in how you are rewarded, its like the devs don't care anyways and just follow what the other triple AAAAYYYY companies are doing i mean mw4 will have lootboxes, currency and microtransactions which aren't needed but thats them for another discussion i guess. i also dislike the skill tree as well, i would prefer little buffs over a bunch of lvls that you spend points on targetting a certain aspect of that ship (like mwo but just talior it for this game obviously). The cv reework is a colossal faliure, i dont mind playing it but it failed to achieve what it was surpossed to do to bring player pop of cv's up by a considerable amount, it also seem to of made quite a few people leave as well. im surprised that happen in the kremlin, i've heard very good things about it, i also don't get the secondary battery ranges as well on the ru bb's, but i guess that would make german bb's more irrelvant (buff the bloody dispersion). Although RU BB's are very strong their main counters are HE spam, teammates and thing sitting in between chair and keyboard so far. I hope california hits teh game with a noice secondary battery.

Oddly enough you only really have true fun when you win since this game is a team-based game first foremost. So from the get go the game is by design competitive and the game basically allows you to ruin other peoples fun by expanding your own simultanously. You can't compare it to a public chessgame since that requires two people and one on each side so you have no one else but to blame but yourself (literally) for every mistake and defeat you endure and generate regardless. More like a public football game or some other public team based event. I've never had fun when i've lost, i've been statisfied or even somewhat entertained but never at the terms of 'fun' unless you encounter me on world of tanks when i was still below 47% winrate i guess. Either way we can help them or shun them, i would rather help people far more than shun them but those who do not wish to put their own needed effort in can reap their rewards (or lack of). Most games are made to make money in some way, that doesnt mean you can get away with a shite product or miss out key features to ensure a bigger population and bigger relevancy in the world of esports. Games are too easy nowadays and reward lack of effort rather than effort on the most part. Still a game that requires players to look elsewhere for help rather than teaching some of it in-game with decent rewards is sketchy game design at best.

Cptminia: Me: Forumites: Trolls: in case it gets locked ladz. I what i find ironic is that my.com basically went down the exact same route as wargaming but just decided to f'up their game even faster. they had their own niche but were too dumb and greedy to hold on to it. Yes i am refering to Armoured warfare, which also has the same problems as this and world of tanks (mostly the latter). although when peeps camp in highly armoured mbt's then your f'ed and that one map is nothing more than circle simulator this is mainly due to a lack of tuts so players remain bad for longer.
-
True, cv's are basically true support without anything to support your teams with besides spotting, damage and killing (fighters are iffy as hell and show that wargaming couldn't be arsed to plan properly). oh well. *server shortcircuts in background*

Maybe but the attackers have a different eplise and AP bombs require different drop heights so, using the IJN line for those reasons isn't a bad thing. i guess he can go up both, i find hosho too be stronger than langley, ranger seems more capable than ryujo but ryujos torps are very gud doe. i would recommend the RN line but their total dpm is usually non-existant.
