Richy is basically a smoll jean bart, play her in the same (no bow tanking unless your in a 1v1 engagement and the enemy is ded) way and you should be fine in general, both have horrible dispersion anyways so if you can handle jean barts dispersion then you can handle richies.

Well with subs, balance will go out the window anyways. When they hit the live server in randoms, i will be uninstalling anyways. Either way trying to say you can get to 'near-balance' with a game mechanic that does not interact with the rest of the game like every other mechanic in said game does in general is laughable. CV's can never be balanced because they function in a completely different way to every single ship in the game. I don't mind balance, but maybe if you listened back in closed beta when peeps said not to add them in to live because they would ruin game balance you ignored them anyways and just plonked them in without second thought. If they were restricted to CO-OP and Operations, and boss fights plus raids and historical missions then players would be more forgiving with them. Oh well, whats done is done i guess. Im getting less interested in this game as time goes on, as i just see another AW on the horizon. Think i might play paladins once again. Or maybe even CSGO.

Kekbab is something i always enjoy shooting or bombing. Just a chonkeh dd thats a bit sad know currently. I rarely see them now.

For bb's and cruisers you can still aim dead on centre and get 5+ bombs on to target, done it a few times my self and set multiple fires on a single ship. its just that bombs have been coded to sort of fall around the edges more than the centre.

Also suggesting improvements, when this company refuses to even take them into consideration is pointless anyways. Like i said before certain CV players like fara gave WG a very detailed answer and all they did was a give a giant middle finger despite pretty much his suggestions would of lead to the rts version being fixed considerably. It's like the 'sub discussion thread' absolutely pointless from the start just like the ntc suggestion thread was, they don't care about the suggestions or improvements we give good or bad. If the devs don't like them personally they won't bother. Sad really.

It's getting closer to Mechwarrior online levels of generousity, but still not there (although most peeps would find it rediculous though). Have like 10-12 free prem mechs in that game? Including the sun spider vanguard (heavy mech) Zeus Champion varient, The prem urbanmech, nova prem varient and others (been awhile since i played). Even got lots of cockpit items as well and a few colours plus a ton of MC creds as well (prem currency which if you save up can actually buy an assault prem mech without paying a dime lol like the supernova boiler for example). More forgiving than world of tanks doe, the economy there is pretty tight.

Probs both, going alone when a cv is about is the worst thing you can do (learn't that very quick in my jean bart). enterpresents is also a really really good CV (wish i had her ). I can understand the logic behind the decision to secure all flanks...but still, not with Big E in play (or any cv for that matter, even worse when said CV is driven by a very competent player like yourself).

Positioning, hydro and i guess using cover and active prediction and removing possible locations where said DD could be. Seem to be hard counters, thats easier in a cruiser though especially since you can dodge their torps easier and cruisers (generally) have better concealment (unless its a meme ship like miss poltava with i think 10km concealment?) and equipment to deal utilise (french cruisers hydro and sped boost for example). Just remembered there is that skill RPF i think but thats better used on DD's than cruisers and BB's due to the amount of points it takes up in general. Yeah its the main reason why this has pretty much failed and im not looking forward to subs either, wouldn't surprise me if it became another mess like this for example. Skill gap remains an issue regardless of what you do.

Ok this thread got really popular all of sudden, but i want to ask something. Best ways to play shokaku? And does haku play the same way or similar? (might not reply for awhile need to do some uni work T-T)

Which is kinda annoying because any team play i want to inact in basically is non-existant. It's also the main reason why i want the support cv's but well...im not sure how WG will handle that. I never got past tier 6 with RTS cv's admittedly, i did notice some ships would shoot entire squads down, while other ships did nothing lol. Im not a fan of the current system myself, too boring at least with the old system you had to plan ahead considerably (unless your stupidly good). But yeah the rework failed in every regard. I do 90k avg in miss lexi, i've even done 150k plus games bottom tier in her, although doing that now is considerably harder than it was 5-6 patches ago (before AA buffs and CV nerfs). Avg 62k in ryujo as well, but can't seem to get the same winrate. I havent played shokaku so i can't say whether i can do similar results in her compared to lexi. At least we agree here lol. Also tried to log in again. Do you use a steam account to log into the forums? this issue has gone beyond annoying at this point.

Yes because i am to magically know you have another account, nevermind one with that many games played. And yes i can't but i don't see why you fail to understand this, i already shown you my account so i don't understand the last portion of your qoute. Eitherway there is no hard counterplay to cv's atm, only soft counterplay from AA and flak (which only the latter works on those who don't dodge), only way you can dodge is if the enemy cv messes up their run or if they are torpedoes and not in a IJN CV (due to very fast torps). But even then thats questionable.
