  3. So im guessing this thread will get shut down soon and probs be replaced by another long winded thread. Oh well. Weegees fault for adding in cv's in the first place if they didnt want the balancing headaches but i doubt they care that much about balance as much anymore.
  4. They do, but i guess if you go for the historical arguement they are still realistic. Although they are broken however due to the way they function in game compared with surface ships.

  7. Ye, lol theres potential for younger yorktown to be put into the game as a premium tier 10 ship too. German cv's will be interesting makes me wonder what kind of things they will have for them. Like thick belt armour, secondaries, very fast torp and dive bombers (hopefully not as questionable as grafs are). Dunno if theres a tier 10 candidate but i guess they could use bismarcks hull or something as a 'converted sister' like akagi and kaga were (realise amagi and tone were either scrapped (tone) or damaged to heavily (amagi) to be converted but eh.

    Well at least they will only be slightly above RN carriers in terms of effectiveness. Manual AA would be nice with the ability to actually shoot down planes, and no i don't care if most can't use it or refuse to do so would be nice to have the option regardless. At least the models would be interesting to say the least.

    How odd, im not sure why weegee didn't go for H41 and make some werid mash up of h42/43 and 41. Eh weegee i guess. I agree with the heal would certain make the line more attractive to me for agressive play in general. Also since we are going to have guns bigger than 460mm's, 482mms wouldn't hurt, although would increase the amount of ships that can pen 32mm's of armour in general. Which could cause problems later on down the line in general. But then balans seems non-existant half the time so what do i know.

    Isnt the h39 fdg and h41 gfk? Size isn't the problem its the fact that in this game (just an example lads calm it) a tiny dd can actually kill a bb with guns alone (which is impossible irl) but thats not even the main issue in general, the main issue is the braindead HE gameplay that weegee have been hammering into the game so instead of forcing players to engage brain they do quite the opposite and because HE allows damage all the time (as long as it hits the superstructure or can pen armour) it promotes a campy playstyle because you almost always risking your hp pool regardless (and while the smaller ships should get the ability to do damage to a bb in this game they could just lower the number of bb's to 3 or maybe even 2 which would make far more sense). you might as well buff the GFK and FDG's mobility and maybe concealment that would do the same thing without bringing in something like H42, since H41 shouldn't be much bigger than a yamato at all. although since yashima (hate the new name) has 510's might as well add bloody H43 and 44 at this point. if gfk was h42 then she needs her 480mm guns. you could even change the secondaries adding more 150mm guns since these ships were never built (but some were laid down i think) too make their secondaries more effective (base range of 9.0km's should do.) i think the problem for the german bb's is that they are kinda designed to push in and die, rarely do i seem them push in and survive with a decent HP pool left or are able to disengage properply due to poor concealment. oh well.

Thats what annoys me about the ship, i've noticed that if your team losses more than 3 ships within 3-4mins your f'ed because monarch is more of a mid-late game ship so your influence in the beginning is limited, also i ended going on the flanks with the least amount of ships to hopefully act as a paperweight and slow down the enemy, but they either go death ball and take a nice big dump on my team who puts themselves into a useless postion with no crossfires, so they get hammered even harder and monarch isn't the fastest bb nor is she the most accurate (or hardly accurate) which again ruins your influence especially when teammates go on magical glue sniffing hunts. Does my head-in when i end up killing a FDG and a soyez with a dd and 2 CA's only to find out our 3 tier 9 bb's sitting in b doing sod all getting torped and citadelled (they were in jean barts btw). litterally had 4 defeats in a row with her despite killing the enemy dd's (not even late game sometimes mid or even early game) pushing flanks kiting and tanking almost 3mil damage half the time and doing over 100k (mostly with AP). Along with the fiji loss streak and that was enough to make me uninstall the game after 3 days of loss streaks in two ships i actually like. And thats what i hate about the british BB's frankly being british they are an insult that they are relegated to braindead HE slinging (not sure if thats a subtle middle finger or not) and not being highly accurate AP monsters with very good heal, concealment, AA and mobility with poor armour and hp pools and maybe turret turn rates. Oh well.

    USA since i seem to do the best in these and also have the higher winrates. UK when it comes to monarch and fiji make me not want to bother going further with both lines at all.
  15. Well weegee was told back in closed beta it was a dumb idea and weegee being weegee, made a nasty in their boxers and well slapped them into the game anyways. I guess they were probably trying to go for that other games style of doing thing steel ocean or something but didn't bother when they found out some people struggle to breath and think at the same time and that game going into the toilet faster than someone having the runs. they will add more carriers in eventually because they already have models done and textured plus baked and rendered and they aren't going to waste those sitting inside files for the next 2 trillion years.

    Well as a bb main who does play cruisers quite a bit, it will make my fav light cruiser the perth useless and also my fav no prem light cruiser the la galissonaire useless. i would rather they not dumb the game down to suit bb players who can't be arsed to actually adapt and not get fecked by silly choices or decisions and actually learn how to play. it also seems like a nerf for cl's against heavy cruisers too since they won't be as effective against them. im also not surprised how long it took weegee to make simple changes that should occured ages ago when the skill first came out during testing.
  17. Sounds like they can't be arsed or bugworld needs binning. they also slightly nerfed hakus rocket planes as well. and i just managed to break even but had to do it in perth due teams with miss monarch being bloody godawful.

I need to pad my stats, for some reason trying to break even in the monarch nevermind win with good results is impossible with the amount of throwing and suiciding. i managed 2 wins with miss perth doe, even without ifhe she is very decent, although with the ifhe changes i have no clue if she will be viable anymore. also got georgia winrate to 60% at least.
  19. Unless your team decides to play 'one by one' where they suicide one at a time into the enemy. Always a fun game to play, make sure you are winning by a good margin to make the throw extra spicy. Love how that guy needs to give you an angry reaction, really says a lot too be honest.
  20. Or just get rid of it period. Or not have arms race for ranked. idk, why weegee insists on it. Maybe Miss tsar will get a new heal at tier 11 which will be the equivalent to x3 heal buff for extra balans?

    Ahh i assumed because of the smaller gun caliber she would have better accuracy and also reload to compensate. I think she should be put down to tier 4, she seems far more like a tier 4 ship than a tier 5, i think sinop can overmatch VU in most places but i can't see her armour so can't verify that.

    The problem is at lower tiers you will encounter decent cv players more frequently than at higher tiers (because how bloody easy hosho is), but most cv players are hilariously bad so usually they will miss and/or feed planes (had a cv that missed my la galissonaire multiple times with rocket planes which was highly amusing in every aspect.). Plus you can't shield teammates or low health teammates from strikes or help them in that regards. Theres several programmes you can use to record, also set replays up in the settings section i think under video. Looking at her stats more closely she seems to have a very good rudder shift, bad turret angles on the back turret, turtleback armour, heal restores 33% citadel instead of 10% but she has a really low hp pool for her tier and also have very good concealment, bad main battery range, poor secondaries (god knows why), very good accuracy and a very tight turning circle (530m is similar to DD's which is excellent). she seems like an excellent cruiser killer, just a shame that she doesn't have good speed otherwise she could be an alright dd hunter too, but that might be a bit much. she does have a good amount of positives going for her, she seems more second line support and an ambusher plus cruiser killer, looking at her armament and stats. wish the hp was higher 35k is pretty bad rather it be 42k like new york at least. her slow speed will also get her rekt by faster ships and sneakier ships like dd's and in some instances if the enemy uses brain mk1 or mk2 can just hide and win the game (can happen with most bb's but at least they can go above 27knots usually).

    She sounds like a mini thunderer (without the speed or heal but eh, she probs be mental if she was) because of guns, dunno if she is teathy or not but having accurate guns is always. had game in my monarch where her guns flew shells everywhere but the baltimore 6.7km away, highly annoying. So having very accurate guns at tier 5 should give you a nice adv, heard her survivability is questionable surprised weegee didnt give a good heal to compensate. shame she doesnt have AA on par or better than texas’ to deal with the cv spam down there.
