    Eh i've drop frieslands before and killed them, its finding them that can be the problem. Although you don't even need to do that just wiping out a 1/3 of their hp or more is enough to make them irrelevant for the first half of the match (unless your DD's play one by one of course). But then i've had carriers drop my monarch before and sometimes miss or do little damage. If my caliber of player was in cv's 50% of the time the calls for nerfs would shot up dramatically nevermind someone above 60% winrates.
  2. Sad that fractured space died, but like strife if they had advertised the game and also listened to some of the well thoughtout suggestions i reckon the game would still be here. Myself im enjoying UA:D more, and when the campaign comes out i will finally be able to a 3d rule the waves but with no carriers (maybe in dlc's or future updates etc). Yeah i remember back in 2013 when jingles said it was basically who was the less shite team rather than who was actually better (this was a replay featuring the kv-1 tier 5 on south coast back in late 2013-early 2014. Seems like it hasn't changed much although the game back then had its highly questionable moments and mechanics, it did reward skill better (although had litteral p2w gold ammo until they made it avalible for credits). Still annoyed how British BB's are HE slingers and not the Accurate AP but squishy ships they should be, i mean they could of just removed the 419mms of the conq buff the 457's and then you have your silver thunderer. guess that required too much brainpower on weegees part. but yeah i hope you have a good break, i know have to dig monarch and fiji both out the winrate hell they are both in atm.

    Forgot about the exp losses to be honest. I've never played a season of ranked or even one match judging from what i've seen over the past year doesnt entice me to do so either lol. Im hoping alpha 5 brings the much needed balance changes and also customization for ships.

    @Yoshanai You should post in-game replays randoms battles on yer channel. title them as world of warships angreh butt fairy in friesland or something to get more clicks and views. or send them to panzercracker or poptier. also haivng gud internet is a godsend no longer have to download stuff at 450kb/s anymore.

    Suggestions thread

    I think one of the more glaring issues with this game is skills and frankly i think they need a rework so...lets begin! Basically atm, when it comes to captain skills many of them are worthless make no sense or aren't as effective compared to others which means that you have skills that take up space on the screen that provide no real benefit and skills that cost wwwaaaayyyy too much just to do something a bit niche (manual secondaries for example or AFT). My proposal is to have a mechwarrior online style skill tree in which the skill tree is split into multiple sections and each section is different for the class it will apply too (so if you captain is trained for BB's then you will get the BB version and if hes trained for light cruisers then he will get the light cruiser version and so on.) these sections will be the following DD's: Main Battery, Torpedoes, Agility, Utility, AA, Concealment, Special. CL's: Main Battery, Torpedoes, AA, Utility, Agility, Concealment, Special. CA's: Main battery, Secondaries, AA, Utility, Agility, Concealment, Special. SC's (Super cruisers): Main battery, Secondaries, AA, Utility, Agility, Special. (Maybe concealment but they could just have that buffed or nerfed where needed). BC's: Main battery, Secondaries, AA, Utility, Agility, Special. (Maybe concealment but they could just have that buffed or nerfed where needed). BB's: Main battery, Secondaries, AA, Utility, Agility, Special. (Maybe concealment but they could just have that buffed or nerfed where needed). CV's: Planes, AA, Secondaries, Utility, Special. Basically special skills will be like what we have now, but redefined and you can only take 2 of them so think of them as superskills basically. In each section you will have tabs going down the side when you go into that section, so for example if you have georgia and you go into MB that will be highlighted and enlarged while the rest will fade into the background but still visible and down the left hand side you will have the following tabs. Main battery: Accuracy-Vertical, Accuracy-Horizontal, Reload, Turret traverse, Shell velocity, Range, Explosive Filler. In each of these catergories you will get little arrow keys that allow you to allocate points to each area but every tab has a max amount of points and each section has its own limit too plus what you put into one you can't put into another essentially. The increases will be small, but will add up and allow people to tailor their ships better than they would of previously although care would have to be taken to ensure things don't go out of hand so maybe some ships will have less amount of points allowed for a section of have certain tabs in that section greyed out to prevent something like a thunderer with a laser like accuracy basically. And also not all skills will be just stat boosts you can even have skills like in secondary section that adds more secondary turrets and for that section you would have the following. Secondaries: Accuracy-Vertical, Accuracy-Horizontal, Reload, Turret traverse, Shell velocity, Range, Fire chance, Extra turrets, Dual purpose. And most of those will be the same but extra turrets will allow extra modelled turrets to be put onto the model (without making it look too ugly) but up to a certain limit so maybe only an extra 2 to 4 turrets depending on caliber of course. Plus for dual purpose you can make some of these or all of these AA turrets as well giving a bigger increase to your con DPS and flak potential. Anyways this is just my suggestion im pretty sure peeps have come up with better but let me know if i can improve upon this or make it better, litterally only came up with it today so dont be too mean to smoll barneh pls. thonks!   11. Well im sure weegee will have the common sense to test this another 3 times to flesh out mechanics more. If they dont and release subs as they are then well, they can't exactly blame the community for not giving feedback. Especially since the way they do the testing means you only have a slim chance of getting in which makes no sense (i get its too stop a flood of idiots running in but having more testers is never a bad thing untill it starts to reduce test effciency). I'd rather have the RTS version back anyways and vastly improved it made more sense to me and well, required more of a brain and was more immersive (in my opinion) which i regret not playing more. also i want boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogue bak as well.

    Obviously we need kremlins big sister moscow with 520mm triples for extra balans. And for thunderer we can have colossus with double 508's too for extra memes. but on a more serious note im suspecting that many have found out the joys of cv's are spamming them atm.
  13. Depends if they are whining or not, some people have offered constructive critisim and very good ways of solving things but weegee refused (that includes El2azer btw). Mostly, but not always. Gameplay or general discussion is mostly where people come to complain other parts of the forum i see are more or less tame (except the dev blog area). There are people who submit suggestions and ideas but since weegee doesn't tell us half the time if those suggestions could be implemented or are worth the time etc, then people get the feeling of not being heard and so start to complain. On the UA:D forums i offer constructive feedback (i am an alpha tester afterall) not to the degree others have (uni and work) but still i don't go on there to complain, although many people where angry due to the insane durability BB's and BC's suddenly got most of us including myself and husarius figured out they are testing extremes since alpha 3 ships died easily and alpha 4 is the complete opposite.
  14. More like CEO or lead director, since as a dev the chances of your ideas being heard, nevermind implemented in such a big company are next to zero at this point. Also if people are passionate about the game you can't stop them from being vocal, unless we get NTC levels of rage nothing will change either. Can't wait for UA:D to develop even further, and hopefully see carriers too.
  15. I like the ship but teams were giving me the finger, i had 55% before friday lol, think its around 48-50% atm, QE is at 44% (liked the ship but eh). Dunno if lion is any better.

    True, they will probs put yorktown and booooooogue behind a paywall. If they do ill slip away into the night. I hope they don't but seeing how 'special' this company is in regards to some of its decisions i wouldn't be surprised if those cv's were put into the shop. I would also like the next cv line to be germany and probs will if they do the above.

    funnily enough i had the reverse in my monarch on that map mid tier against two tier 9 bb's and 2 dd's plus a heavy cruiser against myself, 2 heavy cruisers and a dd. our 3 tier 9 bb's sat at b near that island part and died uselessly while they flanked from A and crossed into B (we killed them at C cap). did 136k damage and 3 kills ended up dying due to how hilariously bad the team was and how quickly the enemy captialised on it. similar happend with midway on that ice map epicenter our bb's uselesslly sailed around dying one by one only to suicide one by one into the enemy. also no dd's so they couldn't whinge (hmm guess thats censored but other words aren't interesting) about being stealth torped. (litteraly no dd's in that game whatsoever). that abercomby must have a fun and engaging time when i killed him in like 3-4mins.

    Reminds me of when i citadelled a sinop angled in some BB (tier 7 can't remember) was surprised too be honest. Although if she is further away i doubt you will be able to citadel her with regularity.

    i know for tier 8 and 10 they wills probs use projects 71 and 72, the tier 4 and 6 will probs be some kind of kitbash of whatever exist down there anyways. im waiting for UA:d to gib russian hulls so i can design ultimate balans.

    Reminds me of when i citadelled an angled moskva at around 10km away woth monarch and killed him (sod knows how i managed that).
  24. The last part summed up my god awful loss streak in the monarch, thinking i could play it like georgia or play aggressively only for team to avoid caps like lava or sniff glue at A1. Never had to work so hard to break even in that bloody thing. Even when killing dd’s and going after cruisers (dispersion doesnt help). Shame the brit bb’s werent accurate ap ships like thunderer with worse he would make them more enjoyable to play with (maybe tone down the heal on conqueror as well).
