Wargaming's flagship game is surely their magnificent World of Warships. Unparalled in its design and development, it provides the playerbase with an unrivalled access to historically accurate depictions of naval combat history. World of Warships proudly pays homage to the Red Workers' and Peasants' Navy's finest traditions, exemplified by legendary Soviet ships like Arkhangelsk and Murmansk. No other country but Russia, steeped in rich traditions, could have delivered such a game with such an amazing potential. After all, Russia has always ranked among the world's most formidable naval powers.

It's been an honor. Endure the humiliation of today for the sake of tomorrow. Admiral of the Fleet Karasu, Task Force Yamato, signing off.

Well.. I buy polish gherkins too. The Russian ones actually seem very easy to put in a jar.

As you say, I think it is run on vanilla client. It should repair the corrupted files. 'Check & repair' doesn't do that in my experience.

I'll just pretend to know what that is.
For sure, no reason to buy the battery acid they call vodka. If you want vodka, buy superior stuff like Polish vodka.

This closure comes from the top. And it smacks of Lesta.

Not much time to figure it out here. Did you change your configuration in any way? As you say, an unstable connection or crappy DSN could likely do it.
If you are not using any VPN, you could try switching to Cloudflare or Quad9 free DNS. Also, if you've installed some mods, those can give you a lot of issues. I suggest uninstalling all mods, and then either doing what you did earlier, meaning clean re-install (which is slow), or at least running the GameCheck.EXE (which is quicker and repairs your game files).

Yeah but it's vague in the extreme. They will start to shut down... they are not giving exact time for any of the regional forums. It could be at midnight sharp, or it could be at daily reset time... we don't know. I guess assume it is midnight, but is that then EST midnight, Midnight in Moscow or what?

I don't think all the moderators have left. Staff probably has...

Curiously, apparently there's no closure announced on Lesta's own RU forum....

If the game were to fold now, it already looks like a much smaller loss after the forums are gone. This forum, as far as I see, was an integral part of playing WoWS.
Fair seas, mate!

Yeah.. it couldn't be much more vague if they did it on purpose.

Reddit seems to be even crappier, although the posts and comments are easier to the eye.
As for the registered Domain... it's also possible WG registered it to keep it away from the community. Wouldn't put it past those
