    I get 'Inactivity in battle'

You are right about ONE minute being too short for planes to reach any enemy ships. CV players should be able to tell us what is the earliest they can expect to attack any ship after the battle starts. What happened to the OP sounds then like the connection might have been slow, and he got into battle late, and while only had played one minute more time had lapsed on the clock. Hard for us to know without a replay. WG staff should be able to see what happened without a replay needed.

Sounds unfair to me too, not much you could have done to avoid it. You could try the pinned false positives thread.

    skipping bombs

Oh some of them make sense, others less so. It's not like it's a binary choice unless you absolutely insist on treating it as such.

    skipping bombs

And yet we pay real money for it.... Perhaps this is what they call a bombe surprise... Oh so that's how the game was still so superior in open Beta because it probably still showed some Alpha traces as opposed to now when it's a steaming pile of... Anyone who played the good olde Dambusters on CBM-64 knows how frustrating it can be o get it just a little bit off when you finally get to target the dam and the dam's not busted but your mission is.

    Historical operations/battles survey on YT

Anyone who can come up with suggestions should maybe post them at YT now. I've got as far as the Battle of the Sea of Japan so far thinking about them, but it gets a little more difficult from then on. We've got some of the historical ships in the game for that. Thinking about in terms of what ships we have is one way of going about it, the other is of course looking at this from a perspective of interesting and significant historical engagements in the appropriate eras. While many navies have seen action post WW2, there aren't that many suitable scenarios, I think. Some might also be a little too much in 'recent memory' if you know what I mean. There's lots of battles to suggest in addition to the most obvious ones like Jutland and... er.. Coral Sea and Midway if those are the sort of things you fancy....

Why are UK subs on double for Naval battles

Indeed. Though they didn't move it, they just removed the bonus from the British subs.

Τhe first female admiral in history for Unique Commander

There's probably lots and lots of information available in Greek but... as they say, that's all Greek to me.

    Historical operations/battles survey on YT

Well.. I don't know, I assume they mean naval battles, not cavalry charges, and roughly within the era that the game covers. Well, we have Mikasa, so I suppose the Battle of the Sea of Japan could be a good starting point....

Brawl 6 vs 6 isn't Brawl anymore just different version of ranked

Now, I really would like the 12 vs 12 BB party brought back. Guess I like things a little more crowded than OP.

Τhe first female admiral in history for Unique Commander

That's an impressive career, spanning over two centuries in all. BTW, I can't find information in Baboulina's biographies available online about the admiral rank being only honorary. What they say is that Alexander I confirred the rank of admiral to her along with a Mongolian sword.

Unlike the famous Russian Admiral Dzhon Pol Dzhons.

Guys, remember how I posted this screenshot earlier tonight? I took another screenshot just now. Same server, same clan, notice anything different?...

Why are UK subs on double for Naval battles

Nations with premium ships only, or more exactly premium ships only in any particular class of ships, should not appear in Naval Battle. Only those slots are 'open' that have tech tree ships in them.

Uhm... you do know that they don't like have to stick around till the end, don't you?

You know there's a bit of irony linked with that image, best not say more...

@KillStealBoss and @NewHorizons_1 you appear to be contradicting each other as the availability of the British submarine tokens. I don't have a NB on EU, but here's what I have on ASIA:

Perhaps this could work if the last ship was a CV?

Where's my Twitch Mystery Drop ?

Perhaps therein lies the clue as to why it's called a 'Mystery drop'?

Where's my Twitch Mystery Drop ?

You really need to ask that?
  21. I don't think so. Sauce?
  22. I think there's a difference if you see the captain skills as a way of customizing the ship you play, or as a way of customizing the way you play. To make clearer what I wrote earlier, the latter has always been the basis of my approach to the captain skills I picked.
  23. An interesting point of view, thank you. What I had in mind was certain skills that make more sense only on certain ships. There would mostly be those related to the differences in armament the ship's have. Some are generally useful, or useless, on a wide range of BB's. What I now mostly choose to do is pick the ones which I think make universal sense, except with certain special commanders, mostly, and for certain key ships. Probably Massachusetts is a good example of a BB where the captain would be focusing on the use of secondaries. In general, I prefer to have as multipurpose and universal captain skills, I'd rather prefer the ships have distinctive strengths and weakness and customize them through equipment, not through captain skills. That's just my personal preference.
  24. No they don't. They designed in such a way that you cannot use upwards from 10 to 12 points without 'locking' your captain on a single particular ship. Retraining won't solve this, or moving to a premium ship. Basically even moving your captain to the wrong premium ship will gimp his skills. The whole purpose of the captain skill rework seems to have been make us retrain our captains more often. Or just essentially keep them on one ship all the time. Thank you humbly for this truly amazing opportunity.
