Maybe they introduced a 'Pay2Play' feature that was prominently announced in fine print at the end of a news article poorly translated from Russian and we all somehow missed it (and also the 'Pay' button in the client)...

21k+ players online, had a random battle that finished about 10 to 15 mins ago, now trying to get into Ranked and it's a no go for some reason. Randoms aren't working either!

WoT is complete garbage now, let's hope none of that crowd ever gets their hands on WoWS development.

Yes on shorter ranges I switch to AP unless there is a DD close by... I tried the bigger guns, as well, but have to say that IMO they perform worse.

Yes, well. It would be nice if your secondaries were somewhat effective countering the threats you face. I like the Bismarck, better than the t9 and t10 ships, in fact. I just don't have much use for her as she is not a premium ship nor can really be used for much anything (operations, wg... operations...).

Knew about wows-numbers had forgotten about that, thanks. Ingame works for EU clans, but I don't think it shows other regions data. This week I got paired with a 3 member clan so I lost right at the outset. Smells like yesterday's sushi if you ask me....

So, there is a way to check how many members clans in other regions have?

Still grinding for this ship but after one of the patches I noticed a huge general increase in overpens and richochets with any BB guns. Basically, this is (I assume) based on the target angle and the ballistics of your guns. If the SS is the same as the Russian BB's in general, the guns have a not-so-great range with very poor performance near maximum range.

What I'm trying to do is slowly figuring out which ships and their game play style suits me. Cruisers, in general, are a big no no especially on higher tiers (with the possible exception of the Zao). Most of the DD's won't work for me either, with BB's it's very much a hit and miss (no pun intended). What I am also trying to be conscious of are the differences between the ships, between gunboats and torpedo boats in general, and different BB's in particular. Mostly, I seem to like the new Russian BB's for their gimmicky style and the Japanese BB's for their performance and long range guns. The Conqueror... spamming HE seems to be my LoL boat...

Begins with an 'f', ends with an 'd'. The fact they disabled the RDF on the CV's does not seem to have helped a lot because it doesn't take a genius to figure out where the DD's are like to be headed....

I assume in [Putin's] Russia replays aren't allowed then.. nor much anything else, I imagine... .... next stop North Korea (I'm definitely not getting out!).... Pls ignore my post....

I can't recommend the Lenin.. (maybe someone can?), the Murmansk felt good a long time ago but not recently, at least not for me.

So do I... I noticed those [ships] in ranked battles. It is not quite as easy as saying that the team with most such ships will automatically lose. They might not be new players but people are experimenting with ships they haven't got. Odd thing though, they don't seem to have any camo. When I do badly, I try to use the 'I'm a new player' defense but having a regular tier X ship makes it little harder to convince anyone that is the case....

The Asashio is a specialist vessel that works relatively well within her own limitations. She cannot reliably be expected to contest caps (but your team always wants this anyway...) or knife fight against stronger gun boats, nor can she do much against high tier cruisers. Radar will hurt her badly, CV's are a constant threat and a nuisance that quickly negates her best strengths like stealth. What she can do under ideal conditions is hunt for enemy BB's and keep enemy ships, even many DD's permaspotted for the team in only the team would then fire at those ships which are closest....

Uhm... we get credits not gold or something like that was it?

@ WG remember, we would like to have more reasons for grinding and especially playing low to mid tier ships... like more operations and historical stuff, huh?

We haven't had any new campaigns for ages....
