Tried them out, personally didn't like them. Kremlin is a completely inept battleship unless maybe if you let it come too close. Better ask He spamming team mates to deal with the problem.

I did experience funny stuff but it was with my Windows 10 after booting up. The time on the toolbar was truncated to just the first digit, titles of the open windows was similarly 'lost'... after rebooting it was fixed, though. I think sometimes when the forum acts up and otherwise slows down it could be a DNS issue. Windows updates also will bog your game down if that happens when you are playing.

I mostly play Japanese BB's, but I still find the German BB's a good alternative. I prefer them over the other ones I know, the Russian ones and British ones. (IIRC I kind of liked North Carolina, too but don't have it any more). As others have pointed out, the problem isn't so much with the Bismarck as it is with T8 MM. In other words, be cautious with your expectations when meeting any higher tier ships.

I think so too. Wiki has this to say on the subject: ' Fully kitted out in a concealment build, Monarch can have a detection range of 10.9 kilometers, making her the stealthiest battleship in her tier spread. This concealment mitigates her relative fragility, and the limited range of her main guns.' However.. they also state that ' she is more akin to a butterfly than royalty, and should seek to avoid the limelight.' When you put all these facts together with the upcoming nerfs... what do you get?

I can confirm they do exist in savage battle. The timing just has to be exact, I think.

I rarely come across this in WoWS, too. Very rarely. IIRC it was more common in Wot many years ago. Back when that game was still fun to play....

Hmm... this could work in WoWS. They never could make it work in WoT so they disabled cross team chat completely. But I can see it's technically possible in WoWS as here we dont have medium tanks.

Well, the way I see it (which prolly isn't how others see it) is that the DD's should be supported by the cruisers and the cruisers should be in turn supported by the battleships by engaging enemy BB's and heavy cruisers. Carriers, of course, complicate matters because in most cases DD's would be outside any AA bubble.

Yes, this is exactly what I usually try to do. More often, though, than you'd believe, there is like zero support coming from my team. And sometimes even when there is, the enemy support is stronger. Not sure if this a variation of Murphy's law, but the enemy always seems to have more radar, more support ships and more planes...

Well, since you mentioned fair fight, at least for me trying to contest a cap in a torpedo build DD against a gun boat DD is not going to end fairly. At least not from my point of view. TBH it wouldn't end well for me even in a gunboat...

Okay, both of you are talking what's good for gunboats, IMO. If you good at gun boating you can challenge the caps and you get a fair fight as long as the numbers are equal. I, on the other hand, have in most cases little use for AFT on a DD or even DE because I primarily rely on torpedo armament.

Hmm.. yes. CE isn't automatically useful and the planes/radar are a big problem. CE isn't completely useless though, it is still effective when 1) you use it on a DD that already has a better than average detection range and/or 2) you need to maximize your safe margin for a torpedo run.

This is why I don't really like the caps. If you do allow the enemy to cap early, and where it applies, cap multiple if not all caps the points are going to get stacked against your team even if you actually will be winning the battle in terms of ships sunk. Many times my team has lost the battle because of this. This leads me to think the priority is not capping per se, but instead effectively denying the enemy the chance to cap.

Cheers, man, though I don't need 10 minutes to die in a cap! And, yes, you are correct that I am a flanker/scout DD player. The lone warrior type but I also like to keep enemy DD's spotted if I got better stealth. With good teams that means our cruisers and BB's will actually do something about them!

Yeah... going into a cap straight at the start with a BB is something you've come to expect more of people of my skill level... (I do it sometimes.. because I mistakenly believe I can help our DDs.. and nobody else is doing anything to help them.) With a DD I mostly detest trying to go into a cap right at the start which makes people upset.. so sometimes I do go for an early cap so I can get to my next battle sooner. I have a very high success rate with that, much better than my capping percentage.

Don't like the mode in current sprint, also got fed up with useless teams... so back to randoms with some savagery to sauce things up a bit.

It is usually pretty instant but sometimes the results lag behind. I usually rather wait a bit than rush into next battle, just in case.
