Thanks, I play on ASIA and EU, and I typically switch instances daily. However, I've already played battles on both after saving the crosshair, and I've even had this issue with ships I've played previously. I only have user_preferences.xml in the WoWS and the PTS folders. This issue started maybe a few days ago, didn't have it previously. I think it's after I reinstalled the mods because I was using a vanilla crosshair up and till then.

Quick question: anyone else noticed that somebody or something keeps resetting their selected crosshair in the game? I'm constantly having to switch from a static crosshair to the modded dynamic crosshair, often in the middle of the battle when I realize that I'm using a static one.

Play Ops or low tiers.

Safe mode does not always help, but the best way of seeing if it does is obviously to try it. The possibilities can be conflicting 3rd party software, or installed mods, or resource management. Since it happens on three separate platforms.... I would tend to think it's either in the vanilla client or the mods, unless it's somehow connection related if that's another thing all three have in common. BTW, even uninstalled mods can still give you issues which is something I found out. @Leo_Apollo11 should maybe run GameCheck.exe to see if it reports anything.

No, can't say that I know that it does. It didn't used to cause any issues AFAIK.

I've had one critical error when a battle ended. Just once, no idea why. I had those 'stuck in the battle loading screen' issues that were probably due to mods, and I have a kind of a sneaky suspicion which mod it was too. This week, I haven't had critical errors, nor got 'stuck' or D/C's, or CTD's, not even with mods reinstalled. What I have been plagued by is really long 'loading game' etc. face when it seems to take much longer to log in. PS. Using Discord.

Yeah. This was a great game back then. We all know that, except the silent majority, of course. Don't know if the devs know it too, or is it that they just don't give a .... duck.

Might not be related to your problem, but the game client likes to troll you at times. You think you have a ship active (you see it in port), but if you enter any menus etc, and click Battle, the client has somehow decided to change your ship in the background. A new issue, this started happening a few patches back, was never an issue in the old days as far as I remember. It's maybe a little difficult to understand what I'm saying there, and it may not be your issue if it's related to divisions, but even there I don't remember there being any problems before.

I have managed to elude any D/C's yet, but since yesterday it takes exceedingly long to log in. Not always even guaranteed to happen. Perhaps this has to do with the growing numbers and popularity that WoWS enjoys with the ever growing multitudes of the silent majority....

There is also a scientific theory that cursing helps relieve pain. The caveat is that it does not seem to work with habitual cursers.

I remember those, I think, but I can't remember 2015 even though I should. So, basically back then we didn't need to bring a long a notepad to write down all the various and contradictory mission orders we now keep having on a constantly shifting basis. This is starting to feel like too much work and too much of a wargame chaotic campaign simulation. Best to ignore all the mission orders, mark them "Attn of: Admiral John Smith" and get them out of your hands.
